I almost never write a review for a product/service, but I was always delighted with how much Discovering in AI influenced me to automate some processes in my work, hence the praise and determination to continue with Mastering in AI. I work in designing swimming pools (which is a big part of the construction sector here in the south of Spain) and BIM is something that has become a standard. But since AI is still a big unknown, it seems to me that with the knowledge I gained in the basic course, I improved my position in the company in many ways. And just to give an example - I created databases of various standards by Comunidad (counties) using NotebookLM, various calculators using Claude, etc., and I discovered all these ideas and applications by listening to the previous course.

So far, the course seems well-structured and provides a comprehensive overview of the various artificial intelligence technologies available. Stjepan has clearly put effort into explaining which technology best fits specific needs. One module that I particularly enjoyed was the one discussing the future of BIM (Building Information Modeling). From a professional standpoint, however, I would have appreciated more information on tools that integrate well with Tekla. More focus on the integrations and synergies between Tekla and other tools would have been very helpful. Overall, the course is very interesting, and I am eager to dive into the more practical aspects. In my work, I frequently use Grasshopper connected to Tekla and structural analysis software, implementing Python or C# scripts for specific requirements. I aim to leverage AI as a co-pilot in developing these scripts, as well as to find AI tools for BIM model reviews and to automate as much of the drawing and documentation production process as possible. In conclusion, the course offers an excellent introduction to the various aspects of artificial intelligence, and I look forward to further developing the skills I've acquired to enhance my work efficiency and innovation in the projects I'm involved in.

The first time I completed the course, I felt underwhelmed. But then I went through it again, accompanied by the Mastering AI in AEC Librray, and it made more sense - I recommend extensively going through the accompanying library to get the best out of the course. Stjepan has extensively researched AI and its application in the AEC sector and simplified it for beginners. I especially like Chapter 8 as it offers a strategic implementation of AI and integration into a firm's business processes. I look forward to a deep dive into some tools in the future offerings/updates.

For me the main topic was to orient myself in the world of AI for AEC, which this course is exactly for. It's great and admirable to see with how many tools and apps Stjepan has experiences! The course has given me a lot of resources. Ideas in which direction should my focus go. Which tools / platforms I want to observe more or what is for example Custom GPT Workflow and how to use it.. But you have to invest as well a lot of time beside the course to try things out on your own. Course is well structured and as a masterpiece I find the Library, where you can find all the links and information pulled from each module. It won't give you one answer to your questions, but it will create a lot of inspiration and kick you into gear.

When I first started the AI in AEC course, I was excited by how much I learned (I'm a bit of a researcher and early tech adopter)! I have had a base in learning fundamentals of AI and do read research papers on the topic, and yet I was able to infer so much value from they way Stjepan explained the foundations of AI. This week I attended the INFOTÉR–CONTECH Conference, Hungary’s largest digital event bringing together innovation, construction, and technology. Among the many great talks, one presentation truly stood out for me: Stjepan Mikulić, Founder & CEO of AI in AEC, who came all the way from Los Angeles to share how hashtag#AI is reshaping the built environment. After his session, I had the chance to take part in his workshop and dive deeper into the topic. It was particularly relevant for me, as I’m responsible for driving AI-related developments within Bilfinger Engineering in Hungary. I had the pleasure of attending the How to Rhino Workshop: AI for Personal Productivity today. As AI continues to evolve and become part of our daily lives, it’s impossible to ignore its growing influence, especially within the AEC industry. The workshop, led by Stjepan Mikulić, offered an incredible deep dive into AI workflows, and he truly went above and beyond in the amount of knowledge he shared. Towards the end, the web and app development AI tools demonstrated by Stjepan and Dusan were particularly eye-opening. The level of preliminary work these tools can now handle was impressive and also a bit thought-provoking. U nekoliko sati je pokusao da nam sublimira sve informacije koje nam mogu biti od koristi. Sledeci korak je njegov on line kurs koji ce koristiti ceo naš tim a zatim cemo razmisliti i o personalizovanom sporovdjenu AI tehnologije za naš studio.

At the workshop, we learned more generally about what AI is, how it works, where you can acquire more knowledge and which tools can be particularly useful for our industry. We got to try our hand at various tasks individually and in groups, and tested out tools such as GPTs. We also received an introduction to how we can use AI in connection with BIM (Building Information Modeling). Here we had a focused session specially arranged for coordinators, managers and those who work with modeling in Totalbetong. We feel more equipped than ever for the future - and have been introduced to important tools that we will make good use of in the time to come!
