🚀 Is AI More Than Just a Buzzword? Just kicked off an AI workshop with Tim Cakir, and we started with the basics. What is AI? Now, we all know AI… but do we REALLY know what it is? 🤔 It’s such a buzzword these days, but when you break it down, AI is really just an umbrella term for things like: 🧠 Machine Learning 🗣️ Natural Language Processing 👀 Computer Vision …... and a bunch of other fancy tech stuff. At the end of the day, AI is simply machines simulating human intelligence. Not too long ago, only developers could talk to machines because they knew programming languages like Python and JavaScript. But now? Sorry, devs, everyone’s in on it! We can literally talk to AI in plain English. No coding, no complicated commands, just pick up your phone or AirPods and start chatting. And somehow, AI gets us. 🤯 So, if we had to sum it up? 👉 AI is just computer systems and algorithms designed to think like humans. And the coolest part? AI tools are becoming so intuitive that we can type, talk, or even film with ChatGPT, and it responds like magic. Maybe I’m late to the party, but with all the noise out there, it was surprisingly hard to get a simple explanation of AI. So a huge shoutout to Tim Cakir for making it all click! And of course, big thanks to Stefan Smulders, Glenn Miseroy, Aad van Vendeloo, and Hester Noorman for making this workshop happen. 🚀 This week marks the end of our 3-month AI training course — and what a journey it's been! 💥🤖 Over the past few months, I’ve had the chance to dive into the world of AI, discover its real-life applications, and most importantly, integrate it into my daily work. One of my biggest takeaways? 💡 How incredibly valuable ChatGPT is in my sales activities — from drafting messages ✍️ to brainstorming strategies 🧠. It's now one of my go-to tools! ⚙️ Another highlight of the training? 💬 We had weekly assignments that we tackled in small cross-functional groups. Each team was made up of colleagues from different departments, and it was truly inspiring to see the variety of perspectives, skills, and workflows come together. 👥✨ Plus, it gave me the chance to collaborate with amazing people I don't often get to work with!
