Before taking this course I was not effectivelly using all the functionality of Capture One to get the best out of my photographs. I am really glad that I subscribed to the Capture One Expert Course developed by Alex. Alex has produced an amazingly comprehensive course on getting the most of Capture One. I have been a user of Capture One for at least the past eight years, and as such thought I had a good understanding of the application. But, with Alex's Capture One Expert Course I have learnt so much more about how to really get the best out of Capture One. His teaching style is easy to follow, very comprehensive whilst offering tips and tricks to maximise the application. I really do feel he is personally involving me. A highly recommended course for anyone wanting to get the best out of Capture One, while maximising all the features with real-world examples to work with. For me, it has definitely been very valuable and I feel I have received excellent value for my money. This course, in combinination referencing the 'Photographer’s Guide to Capture One' ebook by Nils Wille Christoffersen, will enable anyone to get the absolute most out of the functionality of Capture One.

My initial challenge, as a Photoshop ACR/Lightroom user, was to navigate and achieve professional looking images using Capture One. Whilst there are a myriad of excellent You Tube videos out there I was looking for a course that would take me through the whole platform in a clear and concise manner. This is it! Alex's Capture One Expert Course is outstanding. The course content is well presented with lots of tips and insights, taking you through a fully professional workflow. My only con is that anyone taking the course should have at least a rudimentary grasp of C1. Fortunately, I was able to make full use of the modules and now that I have completed the course I will go back and review the whole course again. I real pro is that you are able to download each lesson. What I also love is all the 'free' materials, add-ons and links to other reading. In sum, I highly recommend this course not only to those new to Capture One but to seasoned users who want to brush up on their skill level. Thank you Alex for all your hard work and to me - money well spent.

I've been a Capture One user for several years now but I think I've only used it basicly until now. I've been following Alex's blog for quite a few years now and when I saw his course "Capture one expert" I didn't hesitate a second! He explains to us in a very clear and simple way how each of the tools works and reacts. In addition to that, he teaches us lots of tips that you won't find in any manual or other web page. I loved the part on the subtleties of exposure and color work. This course made me want to go further in the use of capture one. It's a more than recommendable course. A huge time saver for anyone who wants to learn this software.

I have used Lightroom since its first release in 2007 for post processing my Nikon and Fuji images, but I wasn’t always satisfied with the results, especially for my Fuji photos. I thus downloaded and installed Capture One Pro 8 in 2014. For almost 10 years now, I have only been using Capture One, but in fact prior to AlexonRAW’s Expert Course, I had only been scratching its surface, using mainly the Exposure, High Dynamic Range, Levels and Vignetting tools. I never used the Color Editor or Color Balance tools and Layers and Masking remained a mystery to me. I had no idea what a Style was or how to apply it. All of that has now changed by taking AlexonRAW’s Expert Course. The course is fantastic, with 25 high quality video lessons, 8 quizzes to test your comprehension of the instructional videos, and 10 image editing home works with feedback on your edits from Alex. RAW files and bonus materials for image editing practice are also provided, along with links to additional Capture One videos. I have learned so much from the course. I now feel comfortable using many of the tools that I had not previously used, including layers and masks, color correction and grading, batch editing, and applying styles. I have also learned how to access and use my ON1 plugins. This high quality course is so much better than other similar courses that I have followed, especially with the home works and quizzes that test your comprehension of the video lessons. In addition, Alex has been very responsive to the questions that I have asked him during the course. It is clear that he has spent a lot of time and effort to develop this excellent course which I highly recommend to all photographers who are serious about improving their expertise and efficiency in using Capture One. The course piqued my interest to make more use of shortcuts, shift-, Alt-option-key, ... which as a pure amateur photographer I did not do and even often did not know. The sistematic and thorough explanation of the different tools significantly increases the understanding of the mechanism of Capture One and therefore improve the workflow and the final result. Especially Part IV.: "Working with Color" taught me a lot of interesting knowledge. The addition of RAW files for practice is an excellent idea. Looking forward to follow-up courses ....

Absolutely brilliant course! 🤩 I attended Alex's webinar on the "The Art of Hybrid Photography" yesterday, and I really have to say: Awesome! Alex presented the complex topic of AI images, especially concerning realistic image generation, in a relaxed and precise way. For me, the information on which AI models are suitable and how to correctly formulate the prompts was priceless. Finally, clarity on the pros and cons of the different tools! I especially want to highlight Alex's pleasant manner: open, personal, and with an enthusiasm that is truly infectious. It wasn't a stiff seminar, but a relaxed exchange with a professional. I now feel much more organised and motivated to integrate AI into my workflow. Highly recommended! I have used Capture One since version 2.7 and have relied upon Alex’s film styles for my black and white work for longer than I can remember. They are good – very good. They are an excellent starting point if you need a film look without grain.

Thank you for this online course! You showed me several way how to improve my speed and workflow in Capture One. It´s very interesting with AI and I'm glad that you share tips and guidance how to get into this subject which can otherwise be quite overwhelming. I will review the material several times to get more proficient with using AI. You really take this to new levels with photography and AI plus how we can use AI in several aspects of marketing.

Let me start off by saying Alex's AI Native Photographer course and the extensive amount of links, pdfs, CP1 presets and scripts he provided was all worth much more than the price of the class. I learned more about Capture One and AI/LLMs than any other teacher or resource I've found in the past. I've taught multiple courses myself over the years in photography, film processing/darkroom printing, lighting, and programs like Photoshop and Capture One but Alex's in-depth and thorough approach to teaching combined with his positive attitude and love for what he's sharing, made the course exponentially better. Some challenges I faced before Alex's class mainly had to do with the new AI updates in Capture One and how to use LLMs and prompts correctly to aid my photography business. And he solved all these previous challenges in the matter of 4 courses. I am currently recommending this course to all my fellow colleagues that use Capture One or have any interest in incorporating AI into their current workflow, as it's becoming more required day by day. I don’t often go for long video-based courses, but Alex provides a treasure trove of very current and helpful information here in using AI across a wide range of photography applications. Starting with learning which frontier models are better at certain tasks, you will learn how to ask AI to create a better prompt for all kinds of planning you may need. You will learn many practical ways to use templates for specific image generation for things such as colorizing a black and white photo and creating mood boards. This is a pioneering course for organically integrating into a photography business (marketing, automating tasks), and for photo organization in addition to image editing. I highly recommend Native-AI Photographer to all who want to learn where photography and the photography business is going.

I've had a list of things I wanted to automate in Capture One, but had never learned Apple Script very well. The Capture One Script Generator lets me describe what I want and within a few iterations it gives me the automation to save so many manual steps in Capture One. It is quick and amazing!

I created a script for Capture One a while ago to process multiple folders of photos, merge them to HDR, and apply various adjustments - all to give me a better starting point for editing. Since I work with high volumes of images, every second counts. I’ve tried several times, using different AI tools, to improve my script and eliminate the need for keyboard shortcuts or manual menu navigation. But in just half an hour with this tool, I was able to make significant improvements. The issue with relying on menus and keyboard shortcuts is that they can break - you have to keep track of the shortcuts, and dialog boxes may change after updates. This tool helps me avoid those pitfalls and streamline my workflow. I’ll definitely keep using it to make my life easier in Capture One and to save a lot of valuable time.

I faced no challenges with Alex’s courses as they were incredibly straightforward and easy to understand. I found Alex’s scrips extremely valuable as they made my Capture One workflow much smoother and more efficient. I would definitely recommend Alex’s products to fellow photographers and digital technicians, and I already have because of their ease of use and overall improvement to performance in Capture One.

The AlexOnRaw Course on Practical AI is the best of many that I have watched. For each section of each of the five parts in the course Alex provides concrete examples. These examples anchor the explanations and make them easy to understand. For each part of the course the lesson materials contain a summary of key points., And most importantly a copy of the prompts or templates used. This made it easy to test different models myself and made it easy to copy the prompt structure. Definitely a very useful introduction to the practical use of AI.

The AI Select and Match Look tools in Capture One are powerful tools. In the ‘Deep Dive into Match Look and AI Maslomg’ course, Alex gives an excellent overview of these tools and then dives into the many nuances of each. This is a great companion to Alex’s Capture One Expert Course.

Alex's Capture One Cheat Sheets are true mini-lessons that function as quick guides. Beyond reminding you of forgotten functions of the OPT and SHIFT keys across many tools, they give you a valuable understanding of why the order in which you use some tools in Capture One matters to your RAW files. After 9 years of using Capture One, I still find more than a few revelations and optimizations to my workflow from all of Alex's resources.

Capture one is a great tool for editingcontinuously your photos and the software engineers are working hard to implement new features. Therefor it is very useful for me to have some notes about all these tools how to use and what they do. The cheat sheets of Alex were exactly what is was looking for. They are on my desk next to my computer and are for me very helpful.
