Coach Danny is an amazing coach who truly cares about everybody’s progress, not to mention very funny! The people I practice with here quickly became family and we all work to improve each other on and off the mats.

After trying out 2 other gyms in the area, Arroyo was the most welcoming, the most laid back, yet they also have some of the highest level of Jiu Jitsu instruction. Danny clearly cares about his students and their success not only in jiu jitsu but also in life in general. He gives back to the community and encourages us to do so as well…he provides opportunities to do so. If you are looking to elevate your jiu jitsu with practical, no bs instruction, while also feeling like part of a tight-knit group of friends, then Arroyo Grappling is for you.

I have been to many different gyms in my life, some very traditional Brazilian gyms some 10th planet style gyms. And what sets this gym apart is that those other gyms you were on a team and at arroyo you join a family. Everyone in the gym is incredibly hard working, and excellent at their craft. Coach Danny does a fantastic job helping you develop every single aspect of your game and making you feel super welcome. If you want to learn NoGi jiujitsu and have a great time doing it, I cant think of a better place.
