This was an amazing course that I found super helpful and very digestible. I found Amy‘s videos to be very helpful, they were short in length, but had a lot of useful information about resumes, referrals, and Visa information had I not know about this course I would never have succeeded in finding new contacts in California! This course helped me a lot in being able to sell the Australian E-3 visa to prospective employers, so that I could get past the initial screening. I was able to approach subsequent interviews with confidence knowing that I was being assessed as an applicant on merit alone. I am an accountant living in Perth with hopes to move to the US with my wife and three kids. I was also hoping to secure remote work so I could achieve better work/life balance. I started the Aussie Recruits course and my job search at the same time and was able to find remote employment for a US company in the state we wanted to move to in just two months The sections on americanizing my resume and using LinkedIn to boost my visibility to US employers were instrumental in getting responses from applications. I consider myself very lucky but it was still a long two months. My advice to those for which it takes a bit longer would be to persevere and set a certain amount of time each week to apply for jobs.
