Baseline doesn't try to be Canva. Which for me is great. Canva has so much that it's easy for me to lose focus. What I absolutely LOVE about Baseline is once you have created a style guide with your logo, colors, fonts, etc it automatically drops all of this into all the templates you would reasonably need.
It's absolutely inspiring to see how cool and uniform my brand looks across numerous content formats. And when I say inspiring, I mean I can't wait to start writing content because my brand looks so compelling.
Now I'm happily incorporating my design style guide into all of my content across numerous sites.
I can't say any more than give Baseline a try and see for yourself how good it feels not to have to be making design decisions with every new piece of content you develop.

Scaling Up The Design Process
If you are a solopreneur do not miss this.
Baseline probably cuts down the design time to 1/10th.
Granted this is not an alternative to photoshop, but that's not what the target market for baseline is.
What baseline does, is sort of a remarkable stuff for solopreneurs who don't have the chops for design or time, which nobody has these days.
The builder can definitely be improved upon.

Of the two different brand guide webapps I bought, Baseline is hands-down the best. It auto-generates black and white logos from the color master. It lets you strike a logo download at any size and format you want. It allows for multiple logo versions, the color tools are good. And the social graphics generators on top of this are cherries on the cake.

Great tool, and promising future
to have gotten in on this deal. It's a great place to keep the branding assets for my clients. It helps me stay organized as well as having a place for my clients that didn't previously have one place for their assets (primarily Logos, Colors, and Fonts).
I also really like the social media content creation feature - it pulls in the brand colors and logos automatically, making this a very efficient process for me.
I'm seeing new features roll out almost weekly, which gives me confidence this tool will continue to grow and be a cornerstone piece of my tech stack.

Nice to have, not must-own
I wanted to like this more, but it feels like a year or two shy of becoming a 5-star solution. I really like that it can take vector files. I did not like that creating a brand required entering every possible logo variation to get to the next step. Shouldn't it make variations for me and offer me to modify it later? (The black variation was just a black square so I wanted to make it manually later so I deleted that but then it was a required field, ugh)
The logo generator is worthless compared to other free or very affordable alternatives, my favorite of which is Looka.
There should be a media library, ability to modify the generated brand guide, and quite a few other features I'm sure are on the roadmap.

Love this tool!
I have been using this tool now for a couple of months and I love it! It saves me so much time, and helps me keep my brands organized and easy to access. I love that I can download logo's when needed in whatever size I need for different projects, as well as in different colors or backgrounds if needed. I have not used it much yet to make branded materials, but when I messed around with it a bit, I was really impressed at the selection and quality of designs and templates. Overall, as someone who is a bit of a software snob, I would highly recommend this tool even if you had to pay monthly.

As a Creative Director with many years of experience in brand development for clients, I've tried many workflows and processes to perfect how we take brands from concepts to assets. So, when I saw Baseline, I had to test it out, and I'm glad I did; this tool will be a part of our branding workflow from now on. Full stop.
Some of the things that stand out the most and really impressed me about
Baseline:
COLORS GUIDELINES: Generating color codes (simple hex and accompanying CSS/CSS Variable/Tailwind CSS), shades, and contrast assessments for each color are ridiculously fast and easy. This feature will shave off hours of basic design time.
TYPE GUIDELINES: Generating quick typographic guidelines based on specified fonts for headers, subheaders, and body makes generating typographic guidelines not only easy and fast for designers but also makes everything super easy and quick for those applying the guidelines to a website project by giving you complete CSS code options you can copy and paste into your stylesheet. Further, users can choose a ratio preset (like Augmented Fourth) to vary sizes between headers and body type so you can hone in on the proper contrast between your typography sizing.
TONE OF VOICE GUIDELINES: This feature really surprised me and is definitely one of those things that are made easier by using Baseline. Up until now, I've created onboarding questionnaires myself that guide our process of establishing a tone of voice and brand persona. It takes a lot of time to establish a process like this and then perfect it; however, the step-by-step process Baseline takes users on is much more streamlined, user-friendly, and in-depth in generating tone of voice guidelines.
I also must add that the user interface is also very well thought out, intuitive, and looks great. Additionally, the design template feature seems like a quick way for us to mock up various assets, like cover images for FB and LinkedIn, quickly for various social platforms.

As I understand it, this service also has an API for editing text on images. I haven't tested it yet, but this will help me a lot.

I was hesitant to purchase as I really needed tier 3 for my plans. I bit the bullet a couple hours before the deal end.
Within 10 minutes I had my primary business setup with a branding document that I create for customers all the time only they take me hours. So I started to create the same for my premium clients and managed a brand each 5 to 10 mins. When they had gradients in their logo I had to remove lots of colours from the colour pallets section.
I shared a couple out to my clients last night (about 2am) and had emails by 10am about how much they love it.
Would be great if you could limit a report to a specific email address.
Had a look at the teams feature and hope this is part of my plan when the beta ends.
Today I had a look at creating some material for my socials and wow it's so simple.
I have a few thing I would love to see added eventually, so let's see how it goes.

I really love Baseline. It helps create graphic contents that are automatically customized to my brand. I don't have to think about applying the right colors and filters anymore, this is a huge time saver. I only have to think about selecting the right template and customizing the content.
Gilli is really helpful, always available, one of the most reactive service support I have ever had on any tool I bought!
Also the tool is definitely evolving, since I bought the deal, team feature has been released and works like a charm! The most requested features are taken into consideration and LTD users definitely get all future Professional Plan updates.
A nice addition is a free license to Norde Pro, their icon manager, which I think is actually really well furnished. I am going to make great use of this, that is for sure!

A wonderful way to keep all the branding, fonts, gradients, etc in one place... If you've ever had to go and dig through files or open up a color picker to find what the right color is... you need this one.
Love the way it produces and stores gradient variations using brand colors and related brand colors for consistency.
Wonderful potential to be much more than a repository dump for color codes as they build out their social posting, but the product is useable right now to get basic jobs done quickly.
I also love how they have considered the font sizing for Golden Ratio and others to make it easy to get consistent font ratios.

This is very good, with one huge misstep. The"logo" creator is so basic you could do better with ms paint. I don't see why they couldn't use the same interface that they use for the "templates" to build the logo. It will allow for so much more flexibility with color, placement, and the addition of iconography. You've already built the tech, let us use it there.

They were also very open to suggestions, and were genuinely happy to get feedback. For me, this is a very good sign, as it shows that the company has a goal to become a major player in the online design space. I full stacked as I think they have the potential to rival the bigger companies like Canva in the future (who I also use and love), but I like how this product automatically makes assets with my branding (something Canva does not do). This is my favorite AppSumo purchase of all time!
Creating on-brand assets has never been so easy. I gave access to a very young intern who was instantly able to generate MUCH more professional visual content than she was with her Canva membership.
The new "Teams" functionality seems to be working well in beta.
My only suggestion to the Baseline team is to consider adding one additional permission-level setting where admins can enable/ disable the creation of more brand identities. I personally do not want asset creators to generate new brands within the team space.
Like many, I eagerly await custom domains and some more features with the basic logo maker!
I would also consider a serious additional investment to white label this experience.
Thanks for making my life sooo much easier Baseline!

Some of the things that stand out the most and really impressed me about Baseline:
COLORS GUIDELINES: Generating color codes (simple hex and accompanying CSS/CSS Variable/Tailwind CSS), shades, and contrast assessments for each color are ridiculously fast and easy. This feature will shave off hours of basic design time.
TYPE GUIDELINES: Generating quick typographic guidelines based on specified fonts for headers, subheaders, and body makes generating typographic guidelines not only easy and fast for designers but also makes everything super easy and quick for those applying the guidelines to a website project by giving you complete CSS code options you can copy and paste into your stylesheet. Further, users can choose a ratio preset (like Augmented Fourth) to vary sizes between headers and body type so you can hone in on the proper contrast between your typography sizing.
TONE OF VOICE GUIDELINES: This feature really surprised me and is definitely one of those things that are made easier by using Baseline. Up until now, I've created onboarding questionnaires myself that guide our process of establishing a tone of voice and brand persona. It takes a lot of time to establish a process like this and then perfect it; however, the step-by-step process Baseline takes users on is much more streamlined, user-friendly, and in-depth in generating tone of voice guidelines.
I also must add that the user interface is also very well thought out, intuitive, and looks great. Additionally, the design template feature seems like a quick way for us to mock up various assets, like cover images for FB and LinkedIn, quickly for various social platforms.

I am a jack of all trades, and known as the 'swiss army knife' because I have a tool for everything. Well Baseline is now my go-to for brand management and social media content creation. I have used Canva, Piktochart, VistaPrint/Crello and others and this one tops them all in my opinion. For reference, I also have a decent handle on graphic design and have developed a whole vector based graphic framework for my organisation, which supports other organisations in a network. In no time, I was able to set up our brand guideline, bulk upload a ton of vector graphics (thank you for that!), and have slapped together a series of social media posts all in record time.
A few glitches happen once in a while (ie fonts rendered in previews..) but that is all just par for the course with growing pains, and I am happy to wait for those to smooth out.
Support is very responsive, questions asked are replied to promptly, and when the answer was 'no, we don't do this YET', it was quickly followed up with" I can do it manually on the back end if you need". That is service!
New features are on the way such as Teams, which I am looking forward to hearing more about.

I am not in the business of developing branding for others. However, I've found Baseline to be very helpful in sorting out my brand colors, fonts, and tone of voice.
Pros:
* I was surprised to see that, in addition to branding, Baseline has a powerful designer. Your brand assets are pulled in nicely, helping create consistent designs effortlessly.
* A license for the desktop tool, Norde Pro, is included in this deal. Norde is a handy little icon manager that I was able to put to use right away.
* Support is excellent, and my first impression of Baseline is that of a quality company.
* The gradients that the branding tool automatically generated based on my brand colors were a very nice touch!
Cons:
Not much to list here. Currently, it is not possible to use the gradients in Baseline's designer—one can only use the solid brand colors. I have been told that this is coming soon.

Baseline is a very interesting brand design app. I have other tools to design creatives fast, but the approach of this app saves a lot of time applying brand styles to each design. As soon as you add a new brand you already have templates that comply with this (mini) brand manual. Very handy for quick and inexpensive projects.
Things I would like to see in future versions?
1. Automatic online JPG/PNG to SVG logo converter. Not all small companies have their logo in SVG.
2. Being able to select font styles when creating a new logo. For example: Sans, Serif, handwritten, stroke... The current font mix is not practical.
3. The PDF and the shared landing page should be ready to view and download in several languages. My clients, for example, are Spanish speaking.
4. I would like to use a custom CNAME domain to give a more professional looking to my clients.
5. Norde Pro integrated directly into Baseline.
6. More variety in the pre-designed templates. I know the Baseline team is working on it. But it's important, that's why I'm pointing it out.

Baseline is a must for every designer and agency
I have been looking for a tool that covers exactly this function for so many months and fortunately I came across AppSumo.
The tool is very easy to use. Very intuitive, I can create a logo in a few seconds and with the many design templates I have the possibility to see the logo and the corporate design in action.

Feature Request:
What I would like to have is the possibility to customize the text of the Brand Guide because my clients are mainly from Switzerland and Germany and there it would be an advantage if I could manually customize the text in German and add my agency logo to the PDF export as well.
It would also be very great if there would be the possibility to add icons to the logo creator.

I have been looking for a tool that covers exactly this function for so many months and fortunately I came across AppSumo.
The tool is very easy to use. Very intuitive, I can create a logo in a few seconds and with the many design templates I have the possibility to see the logo and the corporate design in action.
A big thank you to the Super Baseline team you have done a great job.
Feature Request:
What I would like to have is the possibility to customize the text of the Brand Guide because my clients are mainly from Switzerland and Germany and there it would be an advantage if I could manually customize the text in German and add my agency logo to the PDF export as well.
It would also be very great if there would be the possibility to add icons to the logo creator.
Thank you for the stunning tool, I can't wait to test more customizations to the tool.

Makes Building Brand Guidelines a Breeze
I bought this mainly for the brand guide functionality - and I'm absolutely loving it so far. As a freelance marketer working with multiple clients, it saves so much time having a brand guide page for every brand I work with.
The automatic generation of logos and logo marks in black & white is great. And the ability to copy codes for fonts and colours to clipboard just makes everything easier.
The developer is also super responsive and quickly fixed an issue I was having with gradients. It's reassuring to have this kind of support for the product!

Falling in Love with Branding Again
Over the years I´ve developed multiple websites, logos, brands, social media content, and everything in between.
And I got bored with certain areas, like designing an entire branding experience every time, it was just too time consuming, and when you combine designing a brand with developing other parts of the strategy, your head can overheat. Mine did, so I eventually retired from branding and I just got it outsourced every time. Which brought me another set of headaches, that´s a long story.
I have used Baseline, and I am falling in love with branding... again.
Obviously, it does take a little more than just "one click and go" if you´re serious about branding, like choosing a good font or custom font, and other bits.
My experience has been nothing short of incredible, I absolutely keep Baseline in my toolbox to help me evolve and re-design some of the branding on a few of my websites which may have become a little obsolete over the years.
If I had to ask for something it would be the ability to upload a logo on JPG or PNG format and take it from there. At the moment it´s required the SVG file, but I´d prefer uploading a simple jpg or png. If Baseline can make this happen, great!

But most interestingly I have been developing our web design offer this past year, and many clients come to us without a brand kit – sometimes even without a logo. The UI is beautiful, and the brand-creating process is smooth.
I was a little bummed at first when the designs looked kind of boring and black, but I went and checked my brand settings and found out that black was set as my primary color. When I moved black to support color 1, all the designs looked amazing and on brand :D

Of course, this job requires the convenience of making various kinds of catalogs with different size variations. For example: sizes for Instagram posts, Pinterest posts and others.

Baseline is one of the best tools I have used. It does a fantastic job generating brand guidelines that can be shared and embedded. All you do is submit and logo, and it will extract the colors and create variations of your logo. That is a lot.
Moreover, your brand (colors and logo) will automatically apply to the design you created. Designs can be made using templates (it has more than you will ever use) and images (tons of images). You can customize all you want and upload your own images.
I think some things would make the product more outstanding. 1) The logo should be available for download in other formats on the branding page. For now, it is only SVG. 2) On the embedded style guide, the chat icon on their site appears as if the user were visited their website. That is annoying.
Baseline is an amazing tool. I am so happy and grateful for this deal on Appsumo. I highly recommend it.

Within 30 minutes of logging into Baseline for the first time, I had set up my first brand, created my first design, and loved the design so much that I immediately posted it as the new banner on my youtube channel. The creation process was awesome. I usually use canva, but honestly, I now prefer Baseline: to log into Baseline and already have everything automatically branded is visually just so powerful. I was able to choose my design and edit it with ease. They already have many cool features (like background blur for photos in seconds!). I really like the simplicity and design of the whole experience, very intuitive. If branding is important to you, Baseline is a no-brained.
Baseline is one of my favorite purchases so far. The simplicity and intentionality of the features that you've started with are perfect. I can see plenty of future features, but what's there works perfectly, just as it should, with a clean, easy and intuitive UI. I'm only mad that it makes a brand guide so easy I feel bad selling them! haha
Using the branding is more efficient than Canva PRO’s branding features (which is a big statement) and the brand guides are so useful for dev and design.
I would love to see white-label PDF exports- I think that would be icing on the cake.
Seriously though, for the price and the potential, this FAR exceeded my expectations. Well done.

I love this tool, it is super fast to create and share branding kits. As an agency, we work with a lot of different indy brands and smaller companies for digital strategy, social media, podcasting and other services. Often, these companies do not have any documented brand guidelines, and our staff encounters challenges in creating a consistent look.
This toolset makes us look professional and great with such clients, since we can provide style guides for them as well as our own staff.
Plus, personally speaking I have multiple websites & projects where I never bothered to properly document the brand, and this tool makes this process so easy, it's ridiculous.
Also, Kudos for great and responsive support. I had some issues in converting some existing artwork to .svg files, and received help right away.
.SVG export tip to whom it may concern: regarding converting to .svg — I learned Photoshop had an .svg export option in past versions — but this can be turned back on in the photoshop export preferences.

High Potential App - Go for it if you manage brands
Baseline is a powerful brand design toolkit.
It aspires to be more than that by competing with Canva as a general-purpose design tool, with the distinct advantage that all designs will be "on brand." The concept is fantastic, but the company has only just begun and has a long road ahead to go.
Instagram posts, Instagram stories, facebook banner, Linkedin banners & posts, twitter post, twitter banner, product hunt images, pininterest, youtube thumbnails and banners, and open graph image design are among the available templates (open graph images are very limited).
What I really miss are presentation and website design templates :-(

Promising Challenger to CANVA.
I am impressed. Despite having Canva, Crello and Glorify, I want to give this tool a try. Interface is intuitive and polished.
The best feature is how it auto customizes designs to match the brand. Super cool! I am still exploring the platform but seems promising.
The current templates are nice though limited in number for my use case (FASHION). I'm sure the team is actively working on adding more.
One limitation is that you cannot add a team member right away, so collaboration is difficult. The team is already working on that.
Overall, I'd suggest don't miss on it without trying. It is pretty good.

Easy-Peasy Brand Creation and Management
Love it! Love it! Love it! Gone are the days of skewed images and logos, incorrect color choices, and even version management of brand assets (i.e. "Why are you using the OLD logo?") Bought Tier 2, can predict quickly moving to the unlimited Tier 3 and offering some of these services as a "value-add" to my customers and subscribers; - heck, even some of my prospects, just might push them "off the fence" and "into my field of customers"!
The simplicity and user experience alone attracts me to this product. The reasonable selection of templates and ancillary (free) tools only enhances the user experience. Not knocking Canva at all, it's an excellent tool I've enjoyed for many years (and may continue to use, at least for now), however I've always been on the look-out for a LTD replacement and though this product may lack in the selection of images and templates, it makes up for the "brand management" aspect.

After playing around with Baseline for a few hours, I can say that there is a lot of potential with this app. It will already save you a lot of time by quickly creating brand guidelines and assets that can be easily shared. It also generates social images and ads based on the guidelines through editable templates and a simple design editor which is extremely helpful for solopreneurs or small teams that do not have design experience.
I'm hoping to use it from a freelance/agency standpoint. I'll do custom brand designs and then bring it into Baseline to quickly provide guidelines and access to generating on-brand content for social and advertising.
There is definitely lots of possibilities to add more value for users and I look forward to the new features that are already being worked on. The creator is very responsive and receptive to suggestions.

More better if I can add pages
I faced a font issue, and found the founder responded fast. Overall, I am satisfied with it. But I do have 3 suggestions:
1. Add the ability to add pages within a project and generated PDFso that we can create presentation slides other than social media content. Presentations needs branding too.
2. Add more creative graphic assets, especially doodle style (line sketching) images, it will let you be more competitive in the market because other online design tools do not have this focus, but it is trendy now.
3. Allow sub-accounts (clients) to create and manage their content. (That's the reason I bought it because I have VistaCreate LTD already, which also provide some level of branding feature.)

Having your brand colors, font and brand guidelines at your fingertips in one environment is worth the 5 tacos.
My best feature from baseline is adding illustrations or assets in SVG and changing the color to match the brand. I downloaded illustrations from my Envato account and in stead of bringing in to illustrator, i was able to change colors on the fly in Baseline saving so much time. honestly, the capabilities are endless.
The steps to adding a brand are well defined and easy to follow, you simply upload your logo and fill in some details, and boom, you have a brand document which your team can use to stick to the guidelines, it really is super cool.
I am excited to start my next project now using Baseline, it is really fun to use.
The guys informed me that a new feature will be coming out where you can download your brand guideline in PDF, really excited for that.
