A beautiful inspiring talk from one of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure of meeting in my professional journey. As women of color and first-gen immigrants, imposter syndrome seems to be a part of our daily lives. Finding a seat at the table seems to always be a daunting uphill battle to prove that we deserve to be here, too. However, it's important to remember that we aren't the only ones going through these challenges, and that we can learn from those who have surpassed and have walked the path before us. I loved watching this video because not only was this Bhuva's first TED Talk video, it's incredibly inspiring to see how she challenges authority and societal norms, guided by her unwavering dedication to putting her daughter first, as a single mom. Her unique story of taking risks, stepping outside of her comfort zone, and breaking barriers is a true testament to courage. I hope to be like you when I grow up, Bhuva!
