As my communications coach, Bill personalized his training methods to drastically improve my public speaking and overall confidence within the workplace. After the first meeting, he strategically picked 2 issues (for me it was voice projection and tone inflections) to immediately work on for his feedback. I attended a General Assembly course on public speaking which Bill taught. This is a tough subject. Most people sign up for courses to simply learn a new subject. Public speaking is one that involves not only a willingness to learn, but trust to get over the inherent fear some/most of us have to get up in front of a room full of people.
