The students were extremely excited to participate in this program and are so happy for their brand new books! Every school should host a Book Blast!! This program is organized so seamlessly. There are never any doubts on what you should be doing to be successful. Everything is clearly laid out for you to have success. The kids absolutely love the prizes, and were so excited to receive their books! We will absolutely be doing this again next year. I know our students were each guaranteed at least one book, but I could never imagined that our community's support would allow every child FIVE books and many children earned all 10 books on their "bookshelf". Three teachers earned shopping sprees and 48 children earned prizes. They were most excited about the "Ninja monkeys"! The treasure boxes were a huge hit - the four winners were thrilled to see real cash among the jewels and trinkets! Children approach me in the hallways to ask how others are doing with their Treasure Maps and are anciously awaiting the arrival of their books. Our teachers are excited about planning an event for Book Delivery Day.

Book Blast was an incredible program! It seemed too good to be true, but it wasn't. Everything went exactly how it was explained to me. Our students earned enough to each get 2 books at a minimum, but some earned up to 10 books. That was on top of the treasure chests full of money and goodies and an ipad that we got to raffle off. Book Blast was an incredible program! It seemed too good to be true, but it wasn't. Everything went exactly how it was explained to me. Our students earned enough to each get 2 books at a minimum, but some earned up to 10 books. That was on top of the treasure chests full of money and goodies and an ipad that we got to raffle off. Students also earned 3 rewards/prizes just for participating! The students loved all the prizes and I know they will love the books too. I cannot believe we have 2000 books coming our way!

I cannot recommend this program enough!!! EVERY child in our school received a book and so many of them received many more!! The program is extremely organized and easy to follow. Yes, it does take time to advertise and distribute the books and prizes but it is definitely worth it. I was very skeptical that our little school would be successful with the Books Are Fun Book Blast Program. However, I could not have been more wrong! Book Blast was Amazing, and a Huge Success! We ended up having 60% of our students participate. All students were excited about getting books, excited about the student prizes for completing their treasure maps, excited about the four treasure chests given away, and the iPad give away. Their enthusiasm was infectious and spread to other students every day. We also had a number of teachers who earned the $100.00 shopping spree through the Books Are Fun site. We want our students to have books in their hands. We want to do what we can to foster a love for Reading. The Book Blast Event helped us to encourage our students, and to make that happen. Because of this years success, we have scheduled Book Blast for the same time next year. I anticipate it to bigger and better than ever!

Our Book Blast experience was AMAZING!!! I am the library media specialist at two elementary schools and was able to implement it at both. I have to admit that, at first, I thought it sounded too good to be true. But it was so easy, completely free, and so much better than I anticipated. The company made it so clear and simple that I as able to do it at both schools, at the same time, with no problems at all. My students loved it! The prizes were awesome. Students were excited to participate and ended up going home with more than 1400 books. I have already scheduled it for next year at both schools.
