I started listening to the audiobook with the parts The Secret and The Mindset… honestly, after these sections, I just wanted to keep going without stopping. The more I listened, the more new insights I gained.
One thing that really struck me was the importance of "searching skills", I used to think searching was just looking for information when needed or when I felt like it. But this book taught me that for a sales professional, searching is not just an extra skill, it is crucial. We need to be smart about finding information: the company’s details, the client’s background, and even small things that make conversations more valuable.
Another key insight is that Tech Sales is not just about selling products, but selling solutions. Before helping a company close deals with clients, you need to “close” yourself first to your dream company, showing the value and solutions you can bring.
My favorite parts are towards the end of the book. Full of motivation and closing messages that left me finishing the book with renewed energy.

Overcoming Setbacks: Yesterday it seemed like nothing was going right. I felt defeated. I knew I needed a reset so I finished my day at the park reading Tech Sales a.co/d/g4nOSPh Brandon Bornancin.
The section about all the stories of people overcoming challenges and becoming wildly successful was the exact message i needed to regroup. Never give up!
Today, so far has been a 180 degrees flip meeting after meeting going well since 8 AM Central. There will be more successes and more setbacks.
The Take Away: Be less attached to the daily results and commit every day to the process. It will all work out if you keep your effort regardless of how the day is going.
