I’ve really appreciated what Caliunity is creating in Bath. It’s not just a gym — it’s a real community. The space feels welcoming, the energy is grounded, and there’s a genuine sense that people are there to learn, grow, and support one another. What stands out most to me is that it doesn’t feel driven by ego or image. There’s a real respect for movement, progress, and the process itself. That makes a big difference. It’s a place where you can come as you are, put the work in, and feel supported as you go. For anyone looking for a solid calisthenics and movement space in Bath, I’d absolutely recommend it.

Before joining CaliUnity, I read lots of reviews from people who hated the gym, but loved going to Cali, and I did wonder "who are these people?!?" Well, I am now one of them! I love, love, love going to Cali! I initially undertook the 6 week challenge and was immediately hooked. The classes are varied, the space amazing, and most importantly, the staff and trainers are THE BEST - motivating, encouraging, fun and friendly; they really do make you feel welcome. Joining Cali has positively impacted my life in many ways and has been the best thing I've done for myself. As someone in their fifties, I'm fitter than I've ever been, and am well on the way to future proofing my body and health. I'm proud to be a part of the Cali Community, and wholeheartedly recommend it to every body.

I joined Caliunity with my wife Charlie one and a half years ago. We get up at 20 to 6 in the morning three times a week to join the classes . We are both in our 60s and to get up this early and have hardly missed a week show how much we enjoy CaliUnity. From the coaches to the members who have become good’s friends, it such a great community. With the range of different classes we have both become stronger and more flexible. Thank-you Caliunity

Best gym I have ever joined. A real community feel. Fitness is fun, but effective. Never thought I would be able to hold a handstand if only for a few seconds! Real progress.

I've been a member of Caliunity for a year now and it's transformed me. It's the first time in my life I've trained consistently and thanks to the excellent coaching I've made huge strides forwards with my strength and flexibility. The classes are fun and it's a great way to hang out with like minded people. Thank you to everyone at Cali for everything you do!

Caliunity isn't just a gym, it's a way of life. It has such a wonderful sense of community, friendly staff and coaches and members who all support eachother! There is a wide range of classes to get involved in spanning movement, flexibility, strength, and fitness as well as the core calisthenics skills based classes. It's the progression of skills that gets you hooked, striving to achieve personal goals. And when you hit one the whole gym celebrates with you! Caliunity's place in the heart of Bath community gets stronger and stronger every day. The opening of the outdoor public space has been a pinnacle this year! There are regular classes for teens and many celebration events such as mental health wellbeing and international women's day that brings the community into Caliunity so everyone can experience what a special place it is!

Within only a few weeks I have started to feel stronger, more mobile and more confident in my body. The community and the team are all really lovely and so genuinely welcoming. Being a part of CaliUnity feels like I am taking control of my body and supporting my long term health and well-being from a place of real care. It is well worth every bit of time and commitment involved!!

I am not a fan of gyms and wanted to join a different sort of gym. This has been the best experience. I never knew what calisthenics was, but it was the training I had been looking for all along. The members are so friendly, the coaches amazingly patient and the classes have been what my body needed. I wanted to gain strength and mobility and this has exceeded all my expectations. I can't recommend them enough.

I am so glad that I found this place. I remember becoming aware of it when the gym on Walcot Street opened - a post on social media that I remember more for snarky comments on it ("Oh, just what Bath needs, another gym 🙄") than for anything about CaliUnity itself. Other than possibly how very excited and enthusiastic these new gym owners seemed to be. I didn't think if it again until several months later when something popped up about a 6-week trial. In that time, I'd been a member of a high street gym and hadn't really found it a very positive experience - everyone with headphones on, quite blokey and macho, not really sure what I should be doing. I clicked the link and shortly afterwards spoke to a lovely man who really listened to my ill-formed views on what I thought I wanted from a gym and explained the offering from CaliUnity and what I could expect in my 6 weeks and thereafter. He talked about functional fitness, strength and mobility in particular - no emphasis on looks, or on swinging ever-bigger weights around. I signed up and went to an introductory meeting. It went well (shout out to Mel for being so lovely!) and I signed up - 3 classes a week. I remember walking to my first class, almost running late (standard) and being so close to bottling it and turning around. I am so glad that I didn't. It was the start of something that has become very important to me, in a way that I simply was not expecting. Without fail, everyone on the CaliUnity team that I've met has been absolutely lovely - welcoming, generous with their time and knowledge, encouraging without being patronising. The classes are an excellent approach for someone like me, who wants to exercise but isn't always sure what to do, how to do it or for how long. Who was always able to talk myself out of going to my previous gym with "I will go tomorrow". If I have signed up for a CaliUnity class, I will be there barring exceptional circumstances. So the classes on offer work for me from that point of view. But they also work in terms of the range, the variety, the timings, the different instructors. It makes it easy to flex around work and other commitments. I go through phases of early morning classes, evening classes and weekend classes. Finally, the classes themselves. They are SO good. I genuinely enjoy them, I look forward to going, I was miffed when Covid took me out for 2+ weeks and I couldn't go. I have done things I would not have thought possible and I am aware of making great strides in my strength, mobility, balance etc. Just brilliant. Lots of people are more social than me and stay after classes to chat and drink coffee. I rarely have the time right now, but I still very much feel like part of CaliUnity and plan to keep it that way for a long time!

What can I say? I have never belonged to a gym or any club like this. The Cali team are consistently and wonderfully supportive, curious champions of your goals and genuinely delighted with the small wins as well as the big ones. But that’s not the full story. When life threw a cancer challenge my way the team at Cali were kind and thoughtful, checked in on me and helped me to work out how to return safely and get back to having fun. The vibe at Cali is one of generosity and celebration and while learning fun skills, you’ll also learn quite a lot about yourself along the way. Xx

I LOVE this Gym! 🙌🏻 discovered it last year and have been a member ever since ❤️ Such strong community spirit and inclusivity, I am always welcomed and all the staff help me with anything I need- tailored movement advice/technical support/accountabilty and more!! Lots of varied classes to choose from and can also use the gym for training on your own goals. I love that I can join in at my level and also be inspired by what others can do too. From my first visit to CaliUnity I knew it was something special. What the team have created here goes far beyond a place to train. It’s a genuine community - supportive, welcoming, and full of energy. People show up for each other, push themselves, and have a lot of fun in the process. As someone working in health and wellbeing, it’s inspiring to see a space where movement, connection and resilience come together so naturally.

Wow - Cali is such an amazing place. The sense of community, the people who work there, and the whole ethos behind it are just wonderful. Having been to several classes now, I can honestly say they’re welcoming and inspiring without being intimidating in the slightest. The space itself has such a great energy. It’s exactly what Bath needs, and I’m so happy to be connected with Mel, Kiera, Ollie and the rest of the team - they’re truly something special.

I HATE the gym, but I LOVE Cali! Everyone is so warm and inclusive, I really feel as though each person is allowed to meet themselves where they're at in their own fitness and skills journey, but we do it together :) I find myself cheerful waking up early to go do double sessions (who is this person!?) the change in my mood and body are obvious to me, I'm so happy I joined - Thank you Cali Team!
