The software's versatility and comprehensive range of modeling options, such as infiltration, unit hydrograph, and routing has made it an ideal software for complex projects. Additionally, the customer service and support provided with the subscription have been excellent. Any issues or questions have been promptly addressed by knowledgeable staff.

The most helpful items I found with HECHMS is the wealth of information at your fingertips inside the program. You don't have to exit the program to find information that you need for each watershed. Being a first time user, the online tutorials were also very helpful. When I did have a question CivilGEO was very quick to respond and very helpful.

I find the automated subbasin delineation, reaches, land use, curve number, and time of concentration very helpful. And the automatic report builder with the hydrograph plots makes it easy to see a graphical comparison of pre vs. post development. Further, CivilGeo customer support is excellent, they have an option to remote in and complete any task that you ask. I'm very impressed with their Customer support.

I used GeoHECHMS for an H&H project in California and it works very well. It has many great capabilities which makes it very easy to use. It has the option to download all necessary data you need and provide all you need for a quick or detailed hydrologic modeling.

There are some great time saving features that are extremly useful in saving time. Some of the most useful are the delineate watershed and subbasins, compute slopes, computing flow paths, and extracting the storgae are volume curve. The user interface is extremly easy to navigate and is much more intuitive to use then regular HECHMS. Overall it has been a time saver on the projects I have used it on. There are still bugs being worked on but the CIvilGeo team has been helpful and responsive to sugestions when issues have come up.

I like that you are able to let the program define your shapes or TC's or you can inport your own. Then you are able to find the outfalls and peaks after inputting accurate information.
