I have to say.....the team at Clari just always gets it right. Timely, actionable, easy to use, thoughtful, outcome oriented and a pleasure to deal with. I got a wonderful gift from them and they just know how to do things right. So yes - this is somewhat biased and tongue in cheek. However, and most importantly - I truly mean this for their product and their business. It is a can't live without product. Simply put. If you are a business leader entering into the new year and don't have Clari - you should. It is the must have single most impactful tool in the entire stack. Yes, I'm biased.. I worked there for years, I still advise, I continue to promote, I've drank and sold the kool-aid🥤 but damn I missed my Clari platform! For all my CRO or Heads of Sales colleagues, this is no longer me selling you something :) I've now lived life on the other side after two months in new role of running the global GTM motion for Black Swan Data. Before Clari: - Lots of spreadsheets (some of the best i've seen!) - Weekly meetings on top of other meetings to review business and risk - Room for improvement on data hygiene - Quarter to Quarter optics (How's our year shaping up 🤔?) - Forecast accuracy could be optimized After Clari: 🕹 Ownership and control of the numbers 🗑 Removal of spreadsheets and reduced review meetings 📈 Rolling out In Quarter and Out Quarter discipline for Forecasting (New Biz, Cross/Up Sell, Retention, NDR and Services) 🔮 Early AI Projections - at Opp level and Company Forecast to validate the human judgement 🥂 Anticipating AE productivity increase 🛀🏽 Data hygiene spiking already!!! We are rapidly growing, testing new markets, deal sizes increasing, customers engaging but I can sleep at night! 🌖 Complete command and control of the business at the fingertips. As one of the SDRs commented while I was touring the platform. "He certainly loves the data"! Oh, and Wingman Activity and Call Recording implemented in a matter of a week! Game changer for everyone in the company! Thanks to a rockstar team of implementers Greg Roush, CSM, CSPO Xiuchen Xu who crushed it. I was not your typical customer :) Keep going Clari!!! You did not disappoint on this side of the fence!

A few areas that made it great: 👉 Customer focused: The review was about Hopin, not Clari itself. 🕵‍♂️ Researched: The Clari team came into the meeting knowing the details of our new strategy. The new products, direction of the company, etc. 📊 Personalized: The insights were specific to our business. Stakeholders were taking screenshots of the QBR deck as references. 🏃‍♂️ Action Oriented: The team gave specific and detailed recommendations on how we could use Clari to address specific areas of our business. If you joined during those section you could have thought it was an internal MBR. Great job Amitis Pedramrazi, Benjamin T. Chau and Joseph Gonzalez

It's end of quarter which means ONE thing... sales QBRs are around the corner ... 🧐 .... a year ago we removed slideware and asked sales people to start writing ✍️ their QBR... with the help of Clari dashboards in the side bar. Honestly it was a bit experimental and it was a bit of a weird transition BUT ... having to commit words to actions either done or going to do is useful as it helps both reflection and formulate the plan more deeply ... having the words as a pre-read allows other parts of the org to understand the challenges an AE faces; often these clearly become a repeating theme (of course I'm sure there's some collaboration there but actually selling IS a team sport) ... also, having the doc allows for people who can't make the actually QBR participate a-sync through asking questions and adding comments to the doc ... the QBR becomes more of a deeper dive reading out and discussing the comments made, rather than just a read out of the content ... rolling each quarter through allows folks to also read what went before and reflect. Good luck with your QBRs whatever your format - I hope it's a good time for collaboration, reflection and forward planning. By the time you've done them the quarterly clock has past and you probably have 10-12 weeks remaining. Go get it!

I spent the entire morning shooting, editing, re-shooting, re-editing this skit for Clari. Why? Two reasons... 1. I love the tool, it has made my (selling) life better. Full stop. I learned from a Carl Eschenbach fireside chat that accurately forecasting is one of the most critical skill sellers need. I actually think he said THE most important. Clari makes this much more achievable - and enjoyable - at scale for both AEs and revenue leaders. Andy Byrne shared a must-read post yesterday about the criticality of understanding revenue risk as early as possible (go read it), especially in the midst of the economic downturn. He didn't specifically reference the tool (which is partly why I love the Clari brand in general) but Clari absolutely illuminates the areas of risk well before the EOQ panic, so you can get proactive in protecting against losses or wasting time on the wrong deals. 2. When you connect deeply enough with a company's mission, understanding where they're going, and happen to sell a solution that matches up really well with many of their areas of focus (in this particular case, the data strategy), you go all in on your personalized outreach to earn a meeting. This is me doing that. 😂 Clari data folks, it's okay if you choose to ignore me, I still love how you're integrating world-class ML into the sales world. ❤️

Shout out to Wingman by Clari to adopt Whisper model from OpenAI. A week ago, transcription accuracy was a huge problem for us. After submitting a ticket to Wingman's team, they quickly resolve it by having Holistics Data as one of the first adopters for their adoption of Whisper model in transcription. Best sales "pitch" I ever heard went something like this (to our CRO)... "As a CRO for a Pre-IPO company, we can make it so you come within 15% of your forecast every quarter so you can deliver the predictable revenue needed to take your company public" As a CRO, that's EVERYTHING. If your talk track falls short of that level of impact, you are simply contributing to the "noise" that buyers must navigate through every day just to do their job. And for the record, the company that gave us that pitch delivered, and we went public. So yeah, you have to be able to deliver too! Happy Memorial Day Y'all!!!
