When the results came back a few weeks later in mid-December 2024, I couldn’t believe my ears. My doctor informed me that my MRI, which had shown a 30% chance of prostate cancer 12 months ago, was now completely clear with no sign of cancer!

Thinking this must be a mistake—since someone with a previous diagnosis of possible cancer would typically expect progression or, at best, a static condition—I asked excitedly about my PSA results. The only way I could truly believe the MRI results was if my PSA results supported them.

The news was equally astonishing: my PSA levels had halved from three months ago, dropping to 4.5, which is the level they were at five years ago.

Why I believe these results are truly miraculous is that my research after being diagnosed with possible prostate cancer at age 66 suggested that PSA levels in men of my age typically continue to rise. Even with mainstream medications—which often come with horrible side effects—the best-case scenario is usually just slowing the progression. Reversing it, as in my case, is extremely rare.

As I have already mentioned, I am eternally thankful to the MyGene team, who were instrumental in making these miraculous results a reality.
