Laith I’ve known Laith for close to 10 years now. I met him when I first walked into the old Quicksand in Wadi Saqra, wide-eyed and scared to death of using my body in ways that don’t involve a couch for the first time. From the start, I was struck with his serious and knowledgeable demeanor, interspersed with moments of wit, sarcasm, humor, sprinkled with a very appropriate amount of sadism. 
Over the years, though I haven’t always been consistent in my attendance, Laith has been an ever-present part of my fitness journey. Pushing me, and others in his classes, to dig deep and squeeze out one more rep is a skill not all possess. He intuitively reads the person, and their mood, and knows today, now, what method will push us to break new barriers. One day, positive reinforcement - “You’re doing great, perfect form, don’t stop!”. The next, playing on everyone’s inborn desire to please - “I’ve seen you do this heavier/better/faster, don’t be lazy”. And when needed, the stinging whip - “Don’t be a wuss!” - often the most effective incentive for a middle-aged man already afraid of the natural decline in testosterone levels! 
Laith always pushed me to do more, but never hesitates to correct posture, form, or suggest a dropping of weight. Proper technique is never sacrificed for the sake of ego lifts.

Laith has developed into an art form the delicate balancing of training our minds to believe we can do something, and our bodies into actually performing the task at hand. All while connecting with each person he trains on a personal level, shifting his personality and approach on the fly depending on what his trainee needs. This attention to both the psychology and physique is a rare find.

Over the years, I’ve come to observe another phenomenon. Laith walks into a gym, a class, and he’s instantly greeted with handshakes, one-armed bro-hugs, and sometimes full-frontal bear hugs. Everyone Laith has trained, or trained with, recognizes that behind the bearded smile (and occasional scowl) is a man who loves what he does, loves the people he trains, and does a damn fine job doing it. I cannot put my finger on the moment it happened, but somewhere along the line, I began to view Laith not as a trainer or life coach or fitness guru/guide, but as a friend. It is both pleasure and an honor to know him in both forms. I cannot recommend him strongly enough to anyone looking to either start or direct their path to better fitness and health.

Twelve years ago, I walked into an induction class that changed my life. I had just lost my brother, and I was in a very dark place, grieving, depressed, and unsure of how to move forward. That day, I met Laith and his wonderful wife Rima, and I’ll never forget it. I regretted walking in the minute I arrived. I started the workout, ran a single lap, and ended up sitting on the side of the field, overwhelmed. I didn’t want to continue. But Laith and Rima didn’t let me give up. I started training with Laith more than ten years ago when I started CrossFit since I heard so much about it and wanted to give it a try and honestly it was one of the best decisions that I made. I became stronger than I have ever been and I do movements now and things that I always thought impossible. The continuous support and encouragement I received helped me to push the boundaries of what I can do all while making sure that I am moving properly and with a good form which helped a lot in reducing any risk of injury. Laith always pushed me to put more effort and challenge myself but never on the expense of doing any movement or carrying a load that will put me at risk of injury. And trust me, I’ve seen how some of them "teach" squats 🙈 No doubt, I’d recommend Laith to anyone looking to train, live healthier, and most importantly, learn proper form from the start.

Training with Coach Laith has completely changed the game for me. I’ve gotten stronger, my body has changed in ways everyone around me has noticed, and I’ve built the kind of confidence I never thought I’d have especially when it comes to lifting heavier. Never understood what is tempo or RPE until I started training with coach Laith, it honestly makes a big difference in the way you feel the same exercise on your body. I also learned that it’s about the quality of each rep not how many reps you do. What sets Laith apart is how much he actually pays attention, and his constant feedback. He is very supportive!

Laith is a legend and I’m grateful to PT with him. I was referred to him by my Pilates instructor that does his program. Having experienced trainers teach me wrong technique: I felt confident in our sessions to progressively overload with weights and lift heavier which is something I was fearful of doing with other coaches. Coach Laith does a meticulous assessment before setting our program and through this I discovered more of what I should be focusing on/and imbalances in my frame and muscle mass. I enjoy our sessions because he thoroughly explains things and taught me how to use mind connection when isolating muscles among other things, he also believes in women’s strength and doesn’t differentiate in our training, but tailors to the level regardless of gender. I do recommend him to everyone because I know they would be in safe, knowledgable and experienced hands.
