Hi! My name is Hope G. I am a highly sensitive person, which is Neurodivergent, and when I joined Trainwell in Feb 2024, I was dealing with some pretty severe perimenopausal symptoms. I needed a coach that would understand my high sensitivity and the difficulties of perimenopause, to help me get back to feeling more like me again. My coach, Ana, has been so amazing and supportive every step of the way. She's the best listener and tries to incorporate any new movements I want to try into my workouts. She also got me through a tough injury to my back which took about 6 weeks to recover from. I feel so blessed to have her as my coach. As long as I have Ana to work with, I know I will achieve my fitness goals.

I’ve been a member of Trainwell for over a year. The experience has been nothing short of transformative. I like that the workouts are straight forward, easy to follow and above all, they work! Furthermore, the trainers adapt workouts based on feedback. Before starting Trainwell, I had no fitness routine and I was unhappy with my weight. I am a 71 year old woman with a number of health issues which can flare up and keep me sidelined. In the past, I've been unable to keep going with healthy exercise habits because of this. Instead of feeling defeated when I go through times where I can't keep up with our specific routine, my coach Natalie keeps me going with special encouragements and helps me handle the ups and downs of my specific situation. It feels like I'm making progress, always, no matter what. Before Trainwell it was very easy to give up and quit, but with Natalie and Trainwell I feel like part of a team that holds me up and keeps me going and staying with the program. My name is Daniel, and I just turned 55. I started my Trainwell journey with Ryan in April of 2024. At that point, I was 5 months into the start of a lifestyle change that started in December of 2023, where I had begun changing my nutrition/diet. My goals with Trainwell were to gain strength training and flexibility knowledge/techniques to help support my new lifestyle, while also avoiding injury. I also wanted accountability to ensure I stayed on track with exercising. When Ryan and I first met via video chat, he took the time to get to know me and my goals, and crafted a training plan that involved 3 days-per-week of full-body exercises. He figured out what types of equipment I had at my home gym so he could customize the right types of exercises. I could tell from that first meeting that he genuinely cared about my training and was going to be an excellent trainer. He stayed engaged with me consistently throughout the journey. A given workout involved a warm-up time, the core exercise sets, and then a cool-down time. During the initial months, the workout duration was in the 35-40 minute timeframe, but increased over time to around 45-50 minutes. Every 4-6 weeks, he would change-up the sets and introduce new techniques and exercises. The workouts were orchestrated using the Trainwell application on the phone (and smart watch) which walked you through the sets, including demonstrations of the exercises. The application rarely had issues (usually addressed immediately through an update), and I felt it was user friendly and intuitive. Ryan was always in touch with my workouts and progress, adjusting things as needed. He would also craft extra ancillary shorter workouts to address any areas I needed, including a Wrist series, Shoulder series, Back tightness series, Hip mobility series, and more. Since my first workout, I made significant gains and progression, without any major injuries! Since April of 2024, one mechanism of progress measurement I used were DEXA (body composition) scans. I just had my last DEXA scan a few days ago, and the technician was so surprised to see the body fat went down while muscle mass went up. Since January of 2025 alone, I dropped 1.2% body fat and gained a little less than 1 LB of muscle. However, since the beginning of my journey with Trainwell, I was able to decrease my body fat about 3% and increase my muscle mass by more than 2 LBS ! The ability to recomposition was definitely a combination of both nutrition and exercise—and I owe Ryan so much credit and thanks for helping me accomplish this. His workouts played a pivotal part in my journey and success. In summary, I highly recommend Ryan as a trainer. He cares about your progress and will partner with you to help you accomplish your goals.

I had total knee replacement a month ago and my trainer, Dana has been an amazing component in my recovery. She helped me prepare for the surgery, physically and mentally/emotionally. Since my surgery, It has been a roller coaster and her chat stream is full of compassion and encouragement. I did my first 20 minute upper body workout on Monday and it was just perfect. Today I have slightly sore arm muscles-a reminder that I did it! I am confident that I will come through this stronger in body and mind and I have Dana on my list of why I believe that. Hello! I'm Vyera, a mom of one and I joined Trainwell four months ago to be more active and get back into shape. I liked the idea of having another person guide me reach my goals who is not part of our household, cause i cannot make excuses then 😅 i WAS hesitant at first cause i previously used different apps and whatnot only to end up falling off the programs and such. My coach is Natalie, and she is the BEST!!! She is very supportive, hears me out and answers questions that I might have. She's very responsive on the app and i love how knowledgeable she is! I love that she works around the movement I enjoy doing while also challenges me with routines im not used to but helps me feel better and stronger! I now enjoy being active and moving for joy and for my future self through the fun and good challenges i experience from the sets she makes. And my son participates in it too which is a major plus! Trainwell has helped me discipline myself and has been the thing that made me consistent in working out and I am grateful!

Who are you? My name is Christie, and I’m someone who values health, growth, and being challenged in the right way. I signed up with Trainwell because I was looking for something different—something that would not only keep me accountable but also take the pressure off planning my own workouts, while still allowing me to feel challenged and supported. As prior to this I was someone who would make my own workouts and workout from home because the gym scene has just never been my thing and kind of a little intimidating. Plus I’m someone who wants to be able to workout from the comfort of my own home especially on the days when I don’t have to leave my house for work. How has Trainwell helped you? Trainwell has completely transformed the way I approach fitness. With Stephany as my coach, I’ve gained not only strength and confidence, but also a deeper understanding of what my body needs. The structure, support, and accountability have kept me consistent and motivated. Stephany checks in regularly throughout the week to see how things are going and to understand if anything in my life might affect my workouts—especially since I primarily schedule them for the weekends due to a busy work life. One of my favourite things she does is encourage me to reflect on one thing I feel most proud of or rewarded by each week. Even on tough days, it helps me shift my mindset and find a win, no matter how small. Plus, I love that my program is adaptable—on days when a workout isn’t possible, when I feel like I should prioritise my mental health over a strenuous workout or I’m experiencing joint pain, she never makes me feel like I’ve failed. There’s always flexibility and understanding and she’ll adapt my plan to suit my needs instantly. What is the best thing about Trainwell / your coach? The best part of Trainwell is Stephany. She’s genuinely invested in my progress and brings the perfect balance of encouragement and challenge. She listens, tailors everything to where I’m at mentally and physically, and always finds a way to bring out my best. Her energy, knowledge, and positivity have made all the difference in my fitness journey. What I really appreciate are the empowering messages she sends—they always seem to come at just the right time. My personal trainer, Veronika, has been excellent at safely and supportively teaching weight-lifting and promoting mobility. She's also incredibly helpful at explaining the "why" and "how" of each exercise, which helps a lot with preventing injury and staying motivated. Trainwell and Veronika have helped me transition to a healthier lifestyle after being in an intense graduate program and I greatly appreciate that through this app I can customize my sessions to fit a schedule that wouldn't work within regular gym hours. It also allows me to communicate with my trainer regularly outside of sessions to get a sense of what my needs and goals are over time. Trainwell and Veronika, specifically, have immensely helped me build confidence and consistency in my personal exercise skills and I couldn't be more grateful!

Cassandra's been really great. I have a busy schedule and she has been working with me to make sure I can still get my workouts in. She has been super helpful in changing up my schedule or making tweaks to my training as needed. She's super positive and motivating.

Trainwell (use to be called Co-pilot) has been the exercise program I’ve been looking for! I’ve been using it just over 4 months now (Erika is amazing!). I work from home, so i prefer to exercise at home instead of driving out to a gym. I did a video consultation in the beginning with Erika and told her what equipment i currently had on hand and we originally worked with what i had. Once i was getting stronger, she kindly recommended i get some 15 lb and 20 lb dumbbells (and I did, those are no joke for a newbie). I see this as an investment in my health which is always worth trying. I’ve used so many different programs over the years (pilates apps, youtube tutorials, etc), but would get bored or feel lost/unmotivated if it was too difficult. Trainwell has been the only program i actually stay consistent with and can see results. The exercises are all custom for your current level of strength, and if they’re too easy or difficult, your trainer will adjust it. I really like that you can listen to music (youtube or apple music) in the background of the Trainwell app. It also integrates with the apple watch effortlessly (and can even give you feedback on your form and speed using the watch sensors). You give feedback at the end of every workout and grade it on a sliding scale (too easy or too difficult). Erika is so sweet and always encourages me! Highly recommended 😊

Hey prospective trainwell client! I'm Jenn and I've been using trainwell for about 8 months. I absolutely love trainwell because the app and Coach Mike have made it possible for me to exercise consistently. I have ADHD and have a complicated history with disordered eating and abusing exercise. Working with Mike has been a game changer because he understands and respects my need to avoid diet culture. In addition he does a great job of anticipating my need to consistently change up workouts to keep me from getting bored. I still have to show up for myself, but its so much easier when my movement is tailored to me and I have Mike to help keep me accountable. That accountability is never based in guilt and its always supportive. What can be changed to make it easier to show up for myself? Or checking in ahead of time if any workouts need to be shifted to accommodate what's happening in my life. For example, right now I'm dealing with lower back pain regularly so Mike has adjusted my workouts to movements that don't aggravate my back and work other muscle groups that will help compensate. For me trainwell is worth every penny. If someone is serious about regularly exercising to support their life this support system is an invaluable tool to help make it happen.

Hey prospective trainwell client! I'm Jenn and I've been using trainwell for about 8 months. I absolutely love trainwell because the app and Coach Mike have made it possible for me to exercise consistently. I have ADHD and have a complicated history with disordered eating and abusing exercise. Working with Mike has been a game changer because he understands and respects my need to avoid diet culture. In addition he does a great job of anticipating my need to consistently change up workouts to keep me from getting bored. I still have to show up for myself, but its so much easier when my movement is tailored to me and I have Mike to help keep me accountable. I'm Laura, Growin up I had really bad experiences with exercise that resulted in very high anxiety regarding gyms. Last time I was in a gym before trainwell I had a panic attack. The fact that I can exercise from home and go at my own pace has been life-changing. I love my workouts! I feel much stronger and I no longer loose my breath going up the stairs. My coach Catie is so amazingly supportive and accommodating, she even gave me some stretching routines to get some movement in while I was healing from COVID! I started using trainwell in Dec 2020 when I noticed my weight increase during the pandemic. Despite being a regular runner, I wanted to be more lean and muscular. I wanted to look good in a swimsuit again. Cody assigned me three weekly strength training programs using the equipment I had at home. How much you can do with a TRX and a few kettlebells is incredible. Having an accountability partner helped me more than I expected it would. I have always been the chubby friend growing up and throughout my life I have gone through MANY attempts to start working out and lose weight but I’ve never been able to stick to it. January 1st 2023 I decided “NEW YEAR NEW ME” and got a month’s membership thinking I could cancel if it doesn’t work out yet here I am 9 months later; I don’t think I’ll end my membership any time soon since I’ve found that being consistent is easier when you have someone helping you learn and evolve as you go through your personal health&fitness journey. I’m so grateful that I was able to find this program, my coach is so amazing; with her help and encouragement I have lost over 30lbs and was able to summit Mt. Fuji! I think the best part of trainwell is that your coach is assigned to you because of how you answer their quiz so they can easily help you with whatever you need and it’s such a personalized program.

I have a chronic illness that makes it difficult to exercise. But ironically, exercise is one of the best treatments for this particular disorder, so I consider it a "necessary evil." Even light exercise would leave me feeling dizzy and exhausted, so it was always hard to stick with a routine for more than a few weeks. With the help of my trainwell coach, I've been working out consistently for over 8 months now. My coach helped me to start slowly and build up my strength and endurance. I am moderately disabled. I came to trainwell not expecting them to do much for me, I hadn't found another way to work out that worked. But my coach Caylene worked over time I'm sure and really listened to me about what my body could and couldn't do. She has made multiple levels of workout for daysxmy body say.. nope but I want to keep up my 54 work out streak. I am looking at major surgery soon but until then the two of us will get me as healthy as possible in preparation. Best work out community I have fund.

My friend gifted me a free month when I signed up through their referral and I'm blown away with how much more than a fitness app this is. My coach is my new best friend and we talk all day about everything. She's so encouraging and we send videos back and forth all day. She's 1000% my motivation to keep going. I haven't exercised since 2013. I was overweight and had zero muscle strength. Pushing an ::empty:: grocery cart was difficult. 😥 🙈 We started really really slow. I was honest and told her the exercises I hated and loved. We customized a program just for me! My coach focuses on feeling strong and energetic over losing weight as a goal. We set habits for other daily things too. My ADHD makes life so difficult and she's helping with this too. This is so much more than an app and for the monthly price, it is a steal! 

Update: have been going for 4 months now and we're still bff's. Still loving every aspect of trainwell. We've changed up my goals to include more ADHD related routines and are changing my workouts every two weeks. I'm getting stronger and stronger each week and am feeling so amazing. 💪❤️🔥
