Appreciate this training! Believe it is a great initiative. I wish that I had done it when i originally started working around cranes and stopped to understand the basic fundamentals. Definitely a great training to run to all grads/site engineers to provide understanding of basics of crane operations. They are one of the biggest risks on site and not enough people understand or appreciate the complexities associated in it

Having been around cranes in various capacities throughout a 10year career in delivery as an engineer, there was great value in this course for all levels.

The balance between learning and testing along with interactive activities was very good. Kept the entire session interesting. Liam was open to questions any time and was a great host!

I really enjoyed the training session, The range of information from lifting fundamentals, rules of thumb, and where to source info whether it be Aus standards or manufacturers briefs. It had a good range of information and it was communicated effectively with examples and interactive quizzes.

This is a very useful program for every engineer who is planning any lifts on site.

It is a very informative session for people who have very basic knowledge of crane, mobile plant, lifting, lifting gears, to widen and deepen their understanding of the product guide of each crane, pros and cons of different cranes and selection of lifting equipment based on the nature of the load and task. This session also provides a brief yet generous introduction of components of different cranes, related certificates and legislations to check, and considerations when study for a lifting plan.

These sorts of courses should be the minimum required knowledge for site engineers in our field!

Overall, a really useful training program that I got a lot of value out of. Would recommend to anyone that is in the site engineer role or higher and working with cranes daily.

I would highly recommend to people in the tier 1 space or someone that is involved with many complicated lifts, very informational.

This course is definitely worth it. The self-paced study helps to get it done while not impacting your workload and helps to process the Information in your own time. 

Understanding of safety in lifting and rigging was a really good refresher. Thorough knowledge of rigging and cranes functionality helps to counter the on-site difficulties to start with and makes the job smooth to execute on the grounds. 

I would certainly recommend the course to people involved in delivery of the works and emphasize on practicing the knowledge in your role as much as you can. 

I believe working with crane only gets more and more exciting as you know more.

The course has great content, which is very well structured and presented. I learned more than my expectations in a fairly quick span of time, which is great. I highly recommend this course.

1. What I enjoyed most about this course, was the tips and tricks to understand the various crane configurations and options, for a variety of manufacturers and crane types. 2. This course has improved my crane knowledge immensely. I have learned the 'best way' to approach things from someone with years of heavy lifting experience for a range of crane types. 3. I gained skills in understanding rigging, mobilisation of cranes, transport considerations, CoG, equalising triangles and the charts used for design and lift planning. 4. The top thing I have taken away from this course is the key considerations to look for in: (i) a lift plan, (ii) a site with constraints, (iii) navigating the charts to find the information I require, and (iv) identifying hazards on a lifting site. 5.
