This course was extremely comprehensive and has something of value for everyone on their YouTube journey. For me, guidance on developing a system and workflow was invaluable.

I found last week's onboarding call with Nathalie super helpful as it helped me to overcome my resistance and to finally make a start. Just had a really productive 1:1 accountability call with Nathalie. Nathalie was really generous with her time and really listened to what I had to say. The course is a comprehensive one for who is entering the Youtube journey. It covers everything from the basics of scripting, to editing, and making a business out of it. This is the only course on YouTube where you can meet like-minded folks who will keep you accountable to posting videos & improving your skills. It's a like a mini-semester in Uni/College - I made new friends I still talk to everyday, I learned how to create great videos from start to finish, and I optimized my systems to increase my CTR and Watch Time. I was hesitant because of cost, but having direct access to Ali was game-changing. He gave me personal feedback on our weekly Exec calls. This course is one of the best I've ever taken for two main reasons: 1) Ali clearly cares about this cause and 2) he has figured out empirically how to succeed on this domain, and candidly communicates these nuances to the cohort over the 6 weeks. When I was taking the class, I could tell that every detail was crafted with the end user in mind; Ali and his team have created a culture of consistent refinement and want to make this course as useful as possible, and this shows in the amount of "jam-packed" material they push out in just 6 weeks. Every single one of the lectures is insightful and what's more is that each lecture also has templates that make "implementing" the lessons easier. PTYA has a year's worth of content packed into a 6 weeks course. I learnt the importance of titles and thumbnails. I was shocked to see the amount of effort "real" YouTubers put into their titles and thumbnails. Hopefully you can see the impact of this course in my recent titles and thumbnails (and the video itself of course). I 100% recommend this to anyone starting a YouTube channel.

As a member of Cohorts 3 and 5, it is obvious that I find this course an essential part for anyone who is interested in being a YouTube creator. When I joined cohort 3 I was just beginning my YT journey and basically had no idea what I was doing! I was a total newbie ... by the end o fthe cohort i was putting out 2 videos a week. The instructions were amazing, down to the detail of what to set for background, what equipment was good to use - not necessarily any particular brand, but guidelines to help us decide what we need. Instruction regarding how to create topics, how to make titles, how to create thumbnails, and eventually how to make a business out of it to name just a few ofthe key elements of the PTYA. When I finished cohort 3, I thought I was in pretty good shape and as I made 2 videos a week for the next 6 months my channel grew and I was in a routine. When I got the cohort 5 announcement, I thought back about my experience in cohort 3 and wondered if I could get the same benefit? I wasnt a newbie, but I was fare from an expert - I hoped that i woudl be able to pick up more subtle tips than the "how to" lessons I had learned in cohort 3. To make sure that would hapen, I joined as an Executive student - perhaps one of teh smartes things I have done on my YT journey. The extra sessions iwth Ali and staff, the personal interaction with Ali was amazing. Ali and Elizabeth have a sense of what works and what doesnt work on YT. For example, before cohort 5 my videos were getting no more than 100 views, after (and in fact during) the cohort I was get videos with views of over 1000 and now have one that is approaching 13,000 views! My subscriber count has really picked up as well all due to the guidance that Ali and team provided in terms of subject direction, titles, thumbnails and content. After cohort 5 I realized that I had learned even more in cohort 5 than the incredible amount i had learned in cohort 3 - I really believe I am on the road to YT success (whatever that is) but in the meantime more and more people are watching my videos and enjoying and learning from my content! Joing as an Exec wasnt cheap - but far more valuable than any fancy camera or recording system! If you can make it work financually then it is the best investment you can ever make in your journey to YouTube success!

PTYA helped me start my youtube channel with the right foot. I had been thinking about starting a youtube channel for way too long! (About 3 years.) But was a bit scared. PTYA not only "forced" me to start, but made me implement systems right away to start with the right foot! This course is seriously worth it. All the info they give is gold and you'll meet some amazing people along the way with whom you'll grow together!

I really liked how professional it was, I liked the host very much and the guest specially Pat Flynn. The thing what most surprised about the course was how much knowledge I've gained over 6 weeks (counting pre-cohort week). It helped me as a beginner to start my first video (that was 99% of my struggle), how to think business and youtube, how consistency is much important, how thumbnails are important and mostly how professional product such as "PTYA" had to be made. I think it was 100% life chaning experience for me. I sacrificed whole summer vacation (I'm a teacher) to do this youtube stuff. I would recommend it specially to beginners but also other youtubers. I feel I have so strong fundations now I'm ready to rock :) Join you won't regret it. Also as "enterpreneur wanna be" I really like how Ali and Pat Flynn approach business and how honest they are when selling the product and how much they care about audience. Would I recommend? Definitely. Amazing team. Good blend of classes and lives and guest speakers/ companies that serve our goals. If someone is new to YT, this takes the scariness out by giving you all the info in one place so you upskill faster, a place you can ask questions and get answers, a supportive community of people on the same journey who get what you are trying to accomplish and finally a place that will critique your videos so you can get started and better. Basically, it’s one of the view courses out there that takes the knowledge and makes it actionable. What more can you want?

As a complete beginner, I learned a lot during the class. The amount of information is huge. I valued the interviews with successful youtubers, or other professionals for gear advice, titles and thumbnails advice, studio setups and so on. I liked the break-out rooms and I felt the need of having more time spent into smaller groups, as I feel that the community could be very helpful after the class as well. This course IS disabled friendly! I know you are reading this and you probably are thinking: really?! Honestly! Let me explain: - Once you pay for PTYA you can join ANY Cohort again - The lessons are ALL recorded so if you miss them it doesn't matter as the material is still available to you....FOREVER! - The customer service/support team are a-fcuking-mazing.....I honestly think they actually do too much support....yep that's right....you can communicate with the team via email, Discord, face to face (Zoom).....AND any and I mean ANY of the team can help you (they ALL have the same culture which is: supportive, knowledgeable, team orientated, sharing of information, listen, learning and development - No one is expected to attend all the sessions...its called PART TIME for a reason, so you are not under pressure - You can refresh your learnings over and over again - There is NO pressure, its all up to you I can literally guarantee you that if you attend someone on your Cohort will also be suffering from chronic illness as YouTube is a potential career for all of us as we can do it when we feel well enough! (You can ignore me obviously). This is where your illness will REALLY help.....WTF?! Our illnesses will help us?! Yep, I know its rare but I really found my fatigue issues helped me....where some people spend 7hrs setting up their lighting.....I had the energy to talk and press a button. Being ill actually saved me loads of time and I just started vlogging. Do your vlogs on WHATEVER you want! I have had soo many happy experiences due to vlogging. You know how we spend so much time in pain and exhausted.....the vlogs no matter what they are on show an achievement! Many people do not complete a single vlog as they worry to much....so please please do some BEFORE you start the Cohort...pick up the camera/phone and press record and then LOAD it....be BRAVE! You are already a WARRIOR (if you are reading this you are) apply it to YouTube as we NEED more people will disabilities doing positive vlogs! At first, I was hesitant about purchasing the course, mainly because of the cost. But I’m glad I made the investment. Ali seems to know exactly what the novice YouTuber needs to hear and do to get started with a channel. He models design and communication strategies, then calls out these strategies in a step by step process that almost propels you into making a channel. The Part-Time YouTuber Academy has helped me launch a new literacy education project that I would never have known how to approach on my own. It got me going! I started Ali’s course 4 to 5 weeks ago, have uploaded five videos since in total over two channels. Then binned off one channel because I figured out what I wanted to post about. I’d set my expectations low on viewer numbers but have actually been humbled by the amount of folks who’ve seen the vids. This course completely blew my mind. It exceeded my expectations. I particularly liked the simplicity and semantics Ali used in explaining each session. It was so natural to him and no complexities at all. He made starting a YouTube channel seem so easy. As a matter of fact, I'm over the moon starting my YouTube channel. The Part-Time YouTuber academy has ignited my passion for starting my channel and the fact that I now know that I just need to do it and not overthink it is so priceless to me. This course really helped me to think differently about creating a YouTube channel. It gave me a renewed energy to committing to creating content and uploading on a regular basis. As much as I have enjoyed the journey of creating content for YouTube previous to taking this course I definitely fell into the pitfall of creating goals outside my control. The biggest take away I got from this course was recognizing that I need to create actionable goals and focus on the things I have control over. I did like the fact that its really well done, and encouraging. It surprise me the amount of information that i got wrong. I have been thinking of starting my YouTube channel for months, but always had something holding me back. This course helped me to just getting started and publishing my first video. I learned that in the beginning quantity and consistency is more important than worrying about making great videos. I ended up having so much fun making my first video and now I cannot wait to make more and more videos and seeing where this journey leads.

In the end it's the simplest possible thing to make a YouTube video. You take your phone, take a selfie video and upload it. But strangely the resistance is enormous. Perhaps the best thing is just the continued challenge to get your first videos out there in the world, and if you're someone who's still scared to do it, there's a high chance you'll get it done if you follow the course.

I've wanted to make a YouTube channel for the longest time, but I kept putting it off for the so called "perfect moment". This course made me take the plunge and I have finally started my own YouTube channel! Like Ali says in his course, "Perfect is the enemy of good". Part-time YouTuber Academy (PTYA) has empowered me to get started and to stay on track with creating a channel on YouTube to present my singing voice (@samrubinsings). What surprised me most about the course has been how clear the step-by-step breakdown of the processes involved is. There are two parts to the PTYA training. One is Ali's training and the second is the staff that follows up. Their is an enormous amount of training out their in YouTube Land. I can't say i've looked at them all but I can tell you is that Ali's training is the third course I've tried. The other two were a waste of money (thousands of $) and many, many wasted hours. First, the training: Presented in a clear and professional manner by a person who has made it one sub at a time. He didn't make it by creating one viral video. Ali worked his buns off one video at a time. What's very important to remember is that he presents the loads of information in very simple and clear terms. The training is complete, well organised and easy to understand and access. The secomd part of the PTYA course , and arguably just as important, is the highly qualified and dedicated support staff that Ali has attracted to his company. There are weekly follow up Zoom calls where I have made many friends from around the world. The 1:1 calls available to everyone. The monthly master mind calls, the monthly guest speaker calls, and finally, the monthly faq by Ali himself. I highly recommend this course to anyone who is serious about putting in the tiime and effort that is nessasary for achieving success on YouTube. PTYA has a year's worth of content packed into a 6 weeks course. I learnt the importance of titles and thumbnails. I was shocked to see the amount of effort "real" YouTubers put into their titles and thumbnails. Hopefully you can see the impact of this course in my recent titles and thumbnails (and the video itself of course). I 100% recommend this to anyone starting a YouTube channel.

As a member of Cohorts 3 and 5, it is obvious that I find this course an essential part for anyone who is interested in being a YouTube creator. When I joined cohort 3 I was just beginning my YT journey and basically had no idea what I was doing! I was a total newbie ... by the end o fthe cohort i was putting out 2 videos a week. The instructions were amazing, down to the detail of what to set for background, what equipment was good to use - not necessarily any particular brand, but guidelines to help us decide what we need. Instruction regarding how to create topics, how to make titles, how to create thumbnails, and eventually how to make a business out of it to name just a few ofthe key elements of the PTYA. When I finished cohort 3, I thought I was in pretty good shape and as I made 2 videos a week for the next 6 months my channel grew and I was in a routine. When I got the cohort 5 announcement, I thought back about my experience in cohort 3 and wondered if I could get the same benefit? I wasnt a newbie, but I was fare from an expert - I hoped that i woudl be able to pick up more subtle tips than the "how to" lessons I had learned in cohort 3. To make sure that would hapen, I joined as an Executive student - perhaps one of teh smartes things I have done on my YT journey. The extra sessions iwth Ali and staff, the personal interaction with Ali was amazing. Ali and Elizabeth have a sense of what works and what doesnt work on YT. For example, before cohort 5 my videos were getting no more than 100 views, after (and in fact during) the cohort I was get videos with views of over 1000 and now have one that is approaching 13,000 views! My subscriber count has really picked up as well all due to the guidance that Ali and team provided in terms of subject direction, titles, thumbnails and content. After cohort 5 I realized that I had learned even more in cohort 5 than the incredible amount i had learned in cohort 3 - I really believe I am on the road to YT success (whatever that is) but in the meantime more and more people are watching my videos and enjoying and learning from my content! Joing as an Exec wasnt cheap - but far more valuable than any fancy camera or recording system! If you can make it work financually then it is the best investment you can ever make in your journey to YouTube success!

PTYA helped me start my youtube channel with the right foot. I had been thinking about starting a youtube channel for way too long! (About 3 years.) But was a bit scared. I really liked how professional it was, I liked the host very much and the guest specially Pat Flynn. The thing what most surprised about the course was how much knowledge I've gained over 6 weeks (counting pre-cohort week). It helped me as a beginner to start my first video (that was 99% of my struggle), how to think business and youtube, how consistency is much important, how thumbnails are important and mostly how professional product such as "PTYA" had to be made. I think it was 100% life chaning experience for me. I sacrificed whole summer vacation (I'm a teacher) to do this youtube stuff. I would recommend it specially to beginners but also other youtubers. I feel I have so strong fundations now I'm ready to rock :) Join you won't regret it. Also as "enterpreneur wanna be" I really like how Ali and Pat Flynn approach business and how honest they are when selling the product and how much they care about audience. Would I recommend? Definitely. Amazing team. Good blend of classes and lives and guest speakers/ companies that serve our goals. If someone is new to YT, this takes the scariness out by giving you all the info in one place so you upskill faster, a place you can ask questions and get answers, a supportive community of people on the same journey who get what you are trying to accomplish and finally a place that will critique your videos so you can get started and better. Basically, it’s one of the view courses out there that takes the knowledge and makes it actionable. What more can you want?

As a complete beginner, I learned a lot during the class. The amount of information is huge. I valued the interviews with successful youtubers, or other professionals for gear advice, titles and thumbnails advice, studio setups and so on. I liked the break-out rooms and I felt the need of having more time spent into smaller groups, as I feel that the community could be very helpful after the class as well. The best part of PTYA is the detailed, written feedback for each weekly video I created during the course. It's very customised advice and provides answers to specific questions I ask. At first, I was hesitant about purchasing the course, mainly because of the cost. But I’m glad I made the investment. Ali seems to know exactly what the novice YouTuber needs to hear and do to get started with a channel. He models design and communication strategies, then calls out these strategies in a step by step process that almost propels you into making a channel. The Part-Time YouTuber Academy has helped me launch a new literacy education project that I would never have known how to approach on my own. I would recommend this academy to anyone looking to create a decent and well-designed channel.

It got me going! I started Ali’s course 4 to 5 weeks ago, have uploaded five videos since in total over two channels. Then binned off one channel because I figured out what I wanted to post about. This course completely blew my mind. It exceeded my expectations. I particularly liked the simplicity and semantics Ali used in explaining each session. It was so natural to him and no complexities at all. He made starting a YouTube channel seem so easy. As a matter of fact, I'm over the moon starting my YouTube channel. This course really helped me to think differently about creating a YouTube channel. It gave me a renewed energy to committing to creating content and uploading on a regular basis. As much as I have enjoyed the journey of creating content for YouTube previous to taking this course I definitely fell into the pitfall of creating goals outside my control. The biggest take away I got from this course was recognizing that I need to create actionable goals and focus on the things I have control over. I did like the fact that its really well done, and encouraging. It surprise me the amount of information that i got wrong. I have been thinking of starting my YouTube channel for months, but always had something holding me back. This course helped me to just getting started and publishing my first video. I learned that in the beginning quantity and consistency is more important than worrying about making great videos. I ended up having so much fun making my first video and now I cannot wait to make more and more videos and seeing where this journey leads.

In the end it's the simplest possible thing to make a YouTube video. You take your phone, take a selfie video and upload it. But strangely the resistance is enormous. Part-time YouTuber Academy (PTYA) has empowered me to get started and to stay on track with creating a channel on YouTube to present my singing voice (@samrubinsings). The weekly accountability calls with Nathalie were instrumental in helping me get going with my YouTube channel. Despite habitual procrastination and a significant amount of self-doubt, it took me nearly six months to upload my first video. The pivotal change occurred when I began the weekly 1-on-1 calls around three months after starting the course. There are two parts to the PTYA training. One is Ali's training and the second is the staff that follows up. Their is an enormous amount of training out their in YouTube Land. I can't say i've looked at them all but I can tell you is that Ali's training is the third course I've tried. The other two were a waste of money (thousands of $) and many, many wasted hours. First, the training: Presented in a clear and professional manner by a person who has made it one sub at a time. He didn't make it by creating one viral video. Ali worked his buns off one video at a time. What's very important to remember is that he presents the loads of information in very simple and clear terms. The training is complete, well organised and easy to understand and access. The secomd part of the PTYA course , and arguably just as important, is the highly qualified and dedicated support staff that Ali has attracted to his company. There are weekly follow up Zoom calls where I have made many friends from around the world. The 1:1 calls available to everyone. The monthly master mind calls, the monthly guest speaker calls, and finally, the monthly faq by Ali himself. I highly recommend this course to anyone who is serious about putting in the tiime and effort that is nessasary for achieving success on YouTube. Their are no guarantees but this is an essential Blueprint. ((::
