Hi my name is Karla. My store is Sunrise Science and I design resources for middle school science. I started my store in February of 2014. In 2022 when I had my second child, I felt a growing frustration as the back to school season approached because I had no free time to work on my store. I had so much to do that I felt frozen. I found YDP and it changed everything for me. I was able to streamline and prioritize all of my tasks. I fell in love with looking at my data. It all clicked for me. I was so excited to have a punch list and it motivated me to work productively during naptime, in the evenings, and in the early mornings– whenever I had a chance, I was optimizing! I learned how to price my resources and how to make resources for specific price points. I earned almost 20% more that back-to-school season than the previous year. Since joining YDP, my earnings per year have increased over 30% overall and I have ranked in the top 150 sellers on TPT. I teach full-time so I still rely SO much on the data from YDP to maximize my productivity in the little windows that I have to work. I have products whose conversion rate has increased by 115% from a simple title change that I learned about in the Weekly Plays email… I can earn an extra $400 over a few months from that little change! When you have the ability to fine tune and learn from optimizations using the Product Change Tracker, you can make super effective changes that provide significant results. My piece of advice for sellers is to take seriously the effect of your product conversion rates – small changes can make a huge difference over time!

I joined YDP in the beta stage after the very first conference Beth and Jarret presented at. My very first TPT mastermind was actually with Beth! I have been seriously doing TPT for about 10 years and have always worked full time. I knew that YDP was going to be amazing even if I didn't full understand it at the time. I jumped in and never looked back. The quarterly growth plans were my go to because they broke it down into actionable steps for me. Then, when the SEO came out I grabbed that. I had already been doing SEO work, but this was a game changer for me! Then they added the weekly plays! Talk about making it super simple to know what to work on each week! Every time they add something, I'm constantly blown away at the value they provide! My advice is just start! Join and watch the videos and pick one thing to do consistently then add another and another.
