Joining a cruise with Dave Koz and friends at sea provides an unmatched experience, seamlessly combining a love for jazz music with the chance to visit stunning travel destinations. The intimate settings on the ship allow us to enjoy music up close and connect with the jazz community. Theme nights on the cruise are truly the best. They add an extra layer of fun and excitement to the journey. Our favorite ports of call so far include Sicily, Mykonos, and Santorini.

The Dave Koz cruises have brought me so many memories and friendships that have continued over the years. I’ve visited countries I could never have imagined I’d see, all thanks to Dave Koz and Friends. The artists and musicians all come with their A-game and that never wavers. I look forward to hearing about the theme nights even though I always say I’m not packing all that stuff 😂; and then I do! To say I have a favorite cruise would be difficult as each held its own magic. Australia and the Barcelona-Lisbon were particularly memorable and will always hold a special place with me.❤️

It all started with Dave's version of The Dance that got us through a rough time. From there multiple shows from NY to FL. Then I sent my wife a personalized greeting from Dave for her birthday. Fast forward to our first Dave Koz cruise, Barcelona to Lisbon. Dave was gracious to stop and chat with us at dinner one night and we told him this tale and how we hoped to hear him play The Dance. He clued us in to catch Javier Colon at Peter White's Pub which we did and sure enough Dave joined Javier for a version of The Dance during his set. Dave didn't have to do that but it is exactly why we love The Dave Koz Cruises. All of the artists are personable and willing to engage be it Rebecca, Randy & Darius playing basketball, Ashling talking about our kids at a bar, Sheila E on a bus line, Peter and Mindy and Marcus and Arthur at our favorite local club in Boca Raton etc etc etc. That first trip was an eye-opener, our first visit to Europe, first cruise, first Dave cruise. So many moments to choose from. The stop in Morocco was a highlight--touring through an opulent mosque on the water and then lunch at Ricks Cafe and walking back to the Ship from there. To have the good fortune to walk in Africa was truly treasured. We love these cruises because they combine the opportunity to explore beautiful and historic places that we might not see otherwise with world class concerts every night on the mainstage as well as more intimate venues to get up close to the musicians. In summary we truly love seeing the world together through music, and hope to continue that in 2026 from Rio to Buenos Aires

I most enjoyed the live music- which is why we go! Dave does such a great job bringing both established artists (we love Peter White, Sheila E, Candy, and Rick) and amazing young artists that we’ve fallen in love with and started following (like Jenny Langer and Dylan Chambers). Please keep programming like this and we’ll keep coming back!

Love the cruise vibe and all of the fun loving jazz folks who go on the DK cruises. We look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones and discovering new jazz artists. Re: ports, Australia 2019 really stands out. At one of the smaller ports, I don't remember if it was Eden or ??, but the whole town showed up to welcome us and everyone was exceptionally helpful and friendly, including the mayor who was there. When we got lined up to get back on the ship, the locals formed lines on either side to say good-bye, played music and waved flags and said please come back. We also enjoyed cave tours and learning about the Aboriginal people on one of the stops. Another highlight was Lisbon/Barcelona in 2023. Loved the ports of Malaga and Ibiza. Definitely on my list to come back and spend some time there with the beautiful people as it's not crowded and are gorgeous towns.

My husband and I know that anywhere we travel with Dave we will have a Jazzy good time. It is a Jazz Festival at sea! People enjoy the music as they please. You are encouraged to be your authentic self. The musicians treat everyone like they are at their family reunion and the guests feel their love! I can't wait to dance, dance, dance with old & new jazzy friends!

Favorite experiences: theme nights: sport teams, red night, toga night, cooking with Koz and formal night A favorite experience incudes bidding on silent auction items and winning the items knowing these funds were going to Starlight Children’s Foundation. I really enjoyed the Cooking with Koz and being able to taste the various goodies being made. Look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones; seeing and meeting the artists and musicians. Every year, I look forward to where your cruise will take us! Favorite ports of call: Barcelona, Venice, Florence, St. Petersburg, Lisbon, Sydney, Amalfi Coast, Copenhagen, and many more!
