Practical Application: One of the highlights of this course was the opportunity to work on real-world projects. I've been able to directly apply the skills I've acquired in my own work, and I'm thrilled to share that I've launched my personal website portfolio. Areas for Improvement: While the course was excellent overall, I think there could be more focus on user research methodologies and perhaps more guest lectures from industry experts to provide different perspectives.

Amazing comprehensive bootcamp for product design! As an architect transitioning into product design, I was looking for a program that gave me a broad understanding of the product design world. DesignerUp is an affordable and thoughtfully structured program - the courses are concise/clear and are always supplemented with helpful resources and mentorship. Liz is an awesome mentor, and always provides very focused and detailed feedback. This self-led program also gave me a lot of flexibility, as I was taking the course while working full-time. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in exploring product design!

So far it's been really great. I love the detailed feedback we get when we post work. There are tons of resources. Coming from a background outside of the industry, this is incredibly helpful. The live office hours were incredibly valuable too—I got a lot out of hearing from people with different backgrounds and at different stages in the industry. The insights on portfolios and what people look for in them really connected with why we're learning certain ideas and processes. 

The overall experience is good, and I really enjoy it. The community is active, so I appreciate receiving feedback on my assignments and enjoy giving feedback as well. The resources are useful, though I sometimes struggle to have everything in one place, like templates on Figma or certain templates on Notion.

The course is very easy to use, it is attractive/consistent in terms of the interface, and I found it more informative than the Google UX cert I have been taking. Both are wonderfully helpful, but this one has been more clean cut and full of more external resources. I also appreciate that there is one major project. My other cert had 3, and while I may still do all 3- it was overwhelming alongside the amount of information, and. sometimes felt I had to do extra digging to complete a task. Overall, I haven't experienced that with DU.

I'm excited to announce that l've completed DesignerUp's Product (UX/UI) Master Course 🥳 After years of hard work, I can finally call myself a designer and I owe Elizabeth Alli and Eric a lot for that. I decided to take this course because from the first moment I could see they were very passionate about Product Design, and their "Mindful Design" values aligned very much with what I wanted to become as a designer.
