Just a shout-out to the Internal Audit Collective as I have, once again, recently experienced the collaborative nature of its members. I find it very easy and useful to tap into the combined experiences and skills of the IA Collective. It is great to be part of a group of audit professionals that genuinely care about advancing and improving our profession by sharing information with their peers. While I still make good use of resources from the IIA and other CAE networking opportunities, the Internal Audit Collective has quickly risen to the top of my networking resource list since its inception early this year. I would highly recommend the IA Collective to both CAEs and internal auditors at any level.

As a company transitioning to a SOX world the Internal Audit Collective has been invaluable in providing me access to so many professionals who can advise and give their own experiences to help me learn best practices and share what worked and what didn’t work. The community it provides is the key to its success. I have attended many of the courses and found them all to be informative and the open discussion a safe space to ask questions and share my own experiences. I think this is a highly effective place to learn and give back to others. A definite hole in the market filled! I joined the Internal Audit Collective as a Founding Member in January 2025 and am so thankful for this community that Tom O'Reilly has founded. Tapping the collective knowledge of Internal Audit professionals of all levels and experiences to seek knowledge, understanding, guidance, insight, and connection is invaluable. It’s having real-world experience at your fingertips from members that are willing to share and help us all succeed as internal auditors. Additionally, the IAC is offering several courses over the next couple of months that are worth attending for you and/or your team members. After a transformative decade with PwC, I joined the Internal Audit Collective as a founding member during my first transition to an industry role. I joined the IAC hoping to connect with others in Audit and SOX. The reality of this group is so much more. The group is actively engaged with leaders in our industry. People are able to share ideas and insights into problems we are facing in the field. The IAC is hosting meaningful events that I look forward to attending. I’ve already made contacts that I trust and seek out when I need advice. I recommend the Collective to everyone in audit and SOX!

Here is the deal. If anyone who is an IA ninja isn't a member of the IA Collective, they need to really take a look. When I see the credentials of the members, I am quite impressed. There is a cornucopia of experience and knowledge here.
