I struggled with insomnia for over 20 years and tried a huge number of approaches to make it better. The End Insomnia System was the first mix of knowledge and practice that truly had a dramatic impact on my sleep, so much so that I don't really think of sleep with any negativity at all anymore despite my long negative history with it. Rather than providing a new set of rituals and interventions, End Insomnia provided a completely different perspective, changing how I viewed insomnia and its impact, resulting in it losing its control over me. Specifically, it showed how my existing attempts were actually hurting rather than helping, and explained very clearly how to think about insomnia in a completely different way. Due to some situational problems I developed insomnia that seemed intractable. I needed to take a sleeping pill every night or I would be awake for hours. I had anxiety issues and was also taking an antidepressant. When my anxiety settled I still had severe insomnia. I knew it was a developed habit by now and that I needed to accept and let go of my fear of not sleeping. The End Insomnia System reassured me in so many ways. It helped me to reframe, accept and let go, time and time again. Slowly, over a year or so, I was able to reduce the sleeping pills and happily now, I have been sleeping beautifully without pills, for a few months. Your reminders to sit with insomnia (knowing I would be alright both at night and in the morning, even with reduced sleep) and not beating myself up if I ended up taking a sleeping pill enabled me to reduce my anxiety enough to actually begin to sleep. The End Insomnia System by Ivo changed my life. It is the only logical approach I have ever heard on beating insomnia. Sorry Dr Huberman but I have tried all of of your recommended supplements and as well as not working for me, they just reinforced the notion that I needed crutches to get to sleep. This system is a permanent cure for insomnia. Ivo says 'ask someone who has no trouble getting to sleep, what they do or what ritual they perform and they will tell you 'nothing'. That's what you will learn. I realised he has been through exact same things as me, had the same thoughts and has found a way out the other side. I'm not alone. He deserves some sort of award for this as after years of Googling and experimenting I am going to get back to a normal life. I expect it to take time but it's worth all of the added benefits not just of getting a decent night's sleep but reducing my anxiety in daily life.
