I love a great recipe book that has pictures of how it should look when done and plated. I’m old school so I printed all 3 books on card stock and placed them in clear protectors in a binder for the kitchen. I have also enjoyed making variations of what is in it to put a twist on the recipe and make it somewhat more mine. The Creami Ice Cream recipes are delicious and really satisfy the sweet tooth I have. I’m down a total of 99 lbs as of today and excited to try to get these last 30-35 lbs off and doing so in a (healthy swap) high protein way.

I’m not the best cook. With these recipes I’d be eating the same boring three meals every day, which usually leads to me falling off as soon as my girlfriend or friends want to eat out cause I’m dying for flavor. I would absolutely recommend these books. I love that there are videos and pictures of all the recipes. I’ve made the pizza several times and love the air fryer recipes. Also love the noodle egg roll in a bowl! Everything I’ve made is quick, convenient and extremely tasty.

I’ve struggled with weight since being a teenager. Lost weight to join the military and did well until I got out. Then with no reason to stay fit the next 12 years I’d go up and down. This year I finally bought the lifetime access to give myself recipes that give me the food I crave but with the macros that fit. Since the beginning of the year I’ve lost 23 lbs. I use to be yo yo diet and lose a lot of weight quickly but this time I’m focusing on macros and consistency going into my mid 30’s. What clicked was not being able to complete as much due to being winded. Focusing just on diet has helped me and on a “cheat day” I switch to one meal.

I have had 2 weight loss surgeries, one worked for me for several years but then it didn't due to my lack of sleep control. I had a second surgery and I just couldn't drop the weight. I am currently having to take monjouro but my husband and I have started to change our eating habits to include healthier eating. So we need a variety of recipes to help keep food from getting boring. I was at 196 in late Oct and I am down to 170. I am 55 yrs old and little to no exercise (but working on it).

I have been off and on using a macro-based/IF along with strength training approach to fat loss for years - I was in a great spot about a month ago but a recent vacation has been a little setback for my goals. Back on track now though and ready for a grind until summer! What changed for me was changing my relationship with food and using a macro approach - I realized that certain foods are not off limits and I can enjoy lower calories versions! I use your FDL recipes weekly and they have been a major help for me, thank you! Also starting a high protein diet was a great change for me and no longer thinking I have to starve to lose fat (I was losing muscle before this clicked as well obviously during starvations phases lol).

I've been eating well and walking for at least 40 minutes, almost every day now. In the last 4 weeks I've lost 4.5 kilograms and I'm super happy with my results so far as I've managed to fit into a dress I bought last year which I've never been able to wear until now. I've still got a long way to go to get back to a healthy weight but I'm loving the feeling of being in control of what I eat. I'm more aware of the reasons why I use to binge eat which always centred around feeding my feelings. The walking has definitely helped me relieve stress instead of using food to deal with stress. My partner is also on a weight loss journey so it's fantastic having someone to share my struggles and successes with.

One day I woke up and barely recognized myself. Like I had jumped into someone else’s body. Well, I’m only down 13 pounds but after gaining 40 that’s huge! Eating comfort looking food and losing weight is a real life changer. I’d rather grab a chicken sandwich than a protein bar. So, short story long, thanks you. Thank you very much. After my annual physical i was told that my blood pressure which I take meds for was still too high, my cholesterol was to high and I was way over weight, he wanted to put me on more meds to try and controll it but I didn't want to take more meds, so I talked him into letting me try to loose weight and controll my cholesterol on my own first. I didn't really know where to start, but I started looking at YouTube and ran across your videos, I've been using these recipes for 2 months now and I have lost 26 pounds, my cholesterol is in normal range and my blood pressure is way below the normal and I might be able to quit those meds. I have learned new ways to cook that are healthy. I didn't know I could still eat these kind of foods and keep it on the Healthier side .

I have had weight issues all my life. I need two knee replacements and is finally tired of hurting everyday. So I have committed 2026 to get this weight off for good and work on myself and better eating habits. I make myself accountable for the calories I eat daily and exercise everyday with 10,000 or more steps. I was taking injections and lost 100lbs, but gained half back when I got off them. So I learning how to exercise more and eat better to stay in my calorie deficit so I can keep this weight off for good. At my largest I was 345lbs. Now I am 282lbs staying consistent with my goals to be under 200lbs with God, self motivation and determination.

Before, I was very skinny and often felt weak and low on energy. Most of my diet was based on fast food, but I didn’t eat much, which is honestly why I stayed so thin. When I started going to the gym, I wanted to keep eating the same way, but I decided to try some of your recipes instead — especially the healthier fast-food style meals. That change made a huge difference for me. I’ve been able to build muscle, I feel much stronger, and I’ve finally achieved an athletic physique that I genuinely feel good about. Where do I even begin? (True. I don't even know where to start, because my story is one of those that must sound totally crazy...when you hear it, with so many "individual details.") But - to keep my story short? i cant, i never knew how to do that and put a whole story into just few lines or a short text, so sorry. This may be a longer text here. Okay, I'll try to go "a little bit" chronologically and go back a bit. There was a time (when I was maybe 19 years old) and everything felt great, and I was doing well physically and health-wise (or so I thought). I was even doing fitness and hip-hop dancing twice a week, had just gotten my motorcycle license, and was enjoying everything. Then, in that one year (the year I got my motorcycle license), towards the end of the year, everything suddenly changed, and I started feeling increasingly unwell. (But I didn't know what it was; I couldn't make sense of it.) I didn't even go to the doctor because I thought, what are you even going to say to him? You don't even know how to put it into words yourself. Then I noticed how I was gaining weight, slowly but steadily, and I felt worse and worse, plus a lot of things hurt. It got to the point where I could barely move. So I finally went to the doctor for blood tests because I thought: okay, a blood test can tell you a lot! (Unfortunately, my doctor at the time told me: no, everything's fine, everything's okay!) He lied. (Deliberately.) He concealed the fact that I already had diabetes. (Don't ask me why, maybe he wanted to make more money off me? I don't know – but he never actually mentioned that I needed to be careful, and he never said, even after all those years, that I was really sick. Because diabetes isn't just a scratch, it's a real problem.) I think I owe it to my best friend that I finally went to a doctor who actually cared about me and took everything I said seriously. (My best friend literally dragged me by my hair to her own doctor...so he could check me out.) After that, at least I had the truth and a diagnosis I could work with, even if the truth was thrown in my face so abruptly and suddenly. Diabetes sucks, but at least I now knew the name of my enemy and could fight it. (What was clear to me personally overnight was: Okay, sugar is the worst thing? Get rid of it.) I actually stopped eating everything containing sugar from one day to the next (and without any problems, no joke). Whether it was chocolate, chips, or anything else, I put it all in a bag and later gave it to my best friend +her family, to eat. But: I was consistent and even managed to go 3-4 months completely without sugar. (Then it was over. Haha! My appetite returned for "normal food," which I had been missing. Pasta, potato dishes, etc.) Before that doctor's visit that changed everything and gave me the truth, I had gained about 13 kg slowly in one year, and then more the following year. I think I had gained 20 kg after two years :( That was the point where I said, wait a minute. Stop. Not like this. And that's when the frustrating time began. (Including all my other problems that came with the diabetes, and some even turned into "new" illnesses.) After that, I just felt like I couldn't enjoy anything anymore, and eating was just torture and bad for me. I was fed up with constantly using the scale, weighing everything, and writing down what I ate to try and figure out why I still wasn't losing weight. (I had a plan, after all - the I wanted to, too.) But nothing worked. My new doctor said: "That's also due to the water retention in your body; it's very difficult to lose weight—you really need a lot of patience. It takes time." (But everything was going way too slowly for me.) That was another time when I changed everything again and actually tried to eat more vegetarian food (me, a meat lover, haha). (I only bought those kinds of products to test them and see how my body reacted.) That was also the time when I tried to find something on YouTube (or several channels) that inspired me and that I wanted to try—I needed ideas. (and all this i told here, kinda was happening in or within maybe 3-4yrs btw....) And then... - - i found 1 video. And i started literally drooling haha... - - that's how I found you, Zach! :) Up until then, I had managed to lose 12 kg in a year on my own (without additional medication or exercise). But of course, I wanted to lose more weight and get back to where I used to be. (My weight.) Also because the doctors kept saying, "Yes, please lose weight, every gram counts, and it's better that way with diabetes." So I found videos on YouTube and watched a lot of them – but I only found a few convincing, and I only wanted to try a few of them. (The others sounded disgusting, haha; I didn't want to suffer any more, because I just wanted to finally be able to enjoy food again without feeling guilty.) Funnily enough, I first found you, Zach, through a Ninja Creami video. (It motivated me so much to be able to eat ice cream again that I started saving up for it, haha!) I've had the Ninja Creami for a year now <3 (and I swear, this summer when I bought it, I made, tried, and ate ice cream EVERY DAY. Every single day. haha) xD Because of that, and also because I liked how easy everything sounded when you made it, I watched more of your videos and learned more about you, and that gave me another push—to actually try out your recipes and see if they tasted as good as they did and if they would be helpful for me in my specific health situation. ... (Things went well for a while – but unfortunately, my doctor eventually discovered in one of the blood tests that I shouldn't add any extra protein to my daily food. (That caused other problems in my body, unfortunately.) So I had to rethink things and be careful again. (Because most of your recipes are high in protein.) Nevertheless, I still occasionally cooked something from your recipes, partly because it actually tasted good and partly because, for example, compared to a McDonald's hamburger, I could eat so much healthier and with far less of everything that's harmful to my health. Meanwhile (I also discovered it on your site) I also have a Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone Air Fryer :D which I really enjoy cooking with and can whip up something quickly – and I don't need nearly as much oil as, for example, in a pan. (Or to put it another way: in a pan, I had to steam more, but with the Ninja, I can actually cook something without oil.) (Frying in oil or lots of oil.) with ur ideas and recipes - there came so much fun + calmness again back into my daily life and eating became again enjoyable...at some point even happiness lol (ice cream) i guess - thats what clicked.... And that's why, and for thousands more reasons, I would of course love to receive your recipe book, and I'm so happy that by sharing my story, I have the chance to get it! <3 :) I love to share my "new learnd knowledge" from you with others and share also ur ideas or recipes and links to ur YT etc, bcos these are really "life-changing"/mind-changing" and make at least my own life and being, much more happier again:) (ps:) sorry but i dont like share pix of me.. hope thats no biggie, to still get the book.. sending u a huge hug and wishing you a healthy and happy year! <3 Lili

I started my journey in August 2025. Began with weight watchers, lost 8 lbs initially, decided I needed to do more. Talked it iver with my best friend since childhood and she said she believed in me. Her husband did also and they both encouraged me everytime we met. 72 lbs off as of today, lab work all within normal limits for the first time since my early 50’s. I just now feel like I can do some little bits of exercising. I look for meal plans that taste good, and are normal food with lots of protein and fiber. I am 69 now and took my first cross country plane trip, fit in the seat and the seat belt clicked and needed to be tightened. Cannot remember ever feeling so proud! Little accomplishments over time keep me going.

I’m down 10 lbs in 3 weeks by sticking to calorie deficit. I’ve tried to lose weight before and failed because I thought I had to give up all the foods I loved and eat like a rabbit. I would go way overboard on cheat days and then give up on myself. These recipes have helped me to stay on track and not feel like I’m depriving myself. Some of these recipes are even better than the regular recipes without all the calories. I feel better in my clothes already and my husband sees a difference.

I was so concerned about eating food that I considered healthy enough, that I really was eating very little. All the while, I was exercising for hours every day, during off the calories that I hadn't even consumed. Your recipes looked so tempting that I had to try them. I had never been much of a cook, but your instructions seemed easy to follow. The chalupas are my favorite! Thank you for showing that you can have the foods you crave and eat healthy. So, where to start. Like many people, the mundaneness of life and the neglect caused weight gain after high school and sadly my own health was out in the back burner. And the ability to mix and match some of the recipes with the macro information provided, I can easily see myself on the right track thanks to you. I am a diabetic and 6 months ago my A1C was so high it wasn’t even registering on my blood work, I have been working really hard to change my diet and still feel free to enjoy what I’m eating. I have always struggled with my weight and appearance but nothing clicked. This time was different as I went down the YouTube path of how to still eat the foods I enjoy but with "smarter" ingredients I found your channel along with others and really enjoyed the recipes. It made it soooo much simpler to keep pushing. Fast forward to Feb '26 and I am down 40 lbs at 208 currently and very close to my ultimate goal of getting rid of the crooked number in front of the weight and get to 50! Thank you for all you do and I appreciate the hard work getting this out there.

After I had my first child, my weight stayed pretty stable at between 115 and 120 pound. Three more pregnancies later, my weight was 265 pounds pounds and on 5 foot two. I ended up in the hospital with a minor stroke and due to a lot of physical therapy and hard work, everything is pretty much back to normal. But I still weighed 265 pounds and needed to get rid of it. And keep my blood sugar in control. I was trying different diets add they did help. It took me eight years to lose 90 pounds. it was a real struggle though of up and down with my weight and blood sugar. I started seeing all of this about the protein and researched a lot about it. Finally, I decided to give it a try about 6 months ago. I had been staying at 175 pounds for quite some time. I started looking for recipes to help me work it out and I found your site online. I like the fact that I can pretty much eat what I want. I do still have to watch out for some of the carbs with my blood sugar, but mainly it’s down in a pretty good range. I started testing things over the next couple months to see what would affect my blood sugar and what wouldn’t. I realized I could still eat carbs only about half as much as a regular serving, but that’s good with me. I am now down another 18 pounds and 8 pounds ago I was officially down 100 pounds. I had to have a knee replacement in November and will have another one done this man. Doing good with that. It’s challenging with diet and not being able to exercise much but I’m getting there. I have another 25 pounds that I wanna lose. because right now I’m somewhat sedentary with the knee and will be again in May, I don’t have much of a calorie deficit without going too low. I’m 70 years old. The weight is coming off very slowly which there again is fine with me. Every time I go to the doctor, he tells me I’m down you know between three and 5 pounds from what I was the last visit. I’ve been screenshot in a lot of different recipes, including yours. I have tried some and they’re very good, so keep up the good work and thank you for your effort and your recipes.

Even when gaining muscle I can't eat uncontrolled and not get fat, my diet is structured year round and protein is the anchor. These recipes are great for inspiration as well, if food seems boring mix and match a few things to come up with something new. It's WAY better than eating plain chicken breast.

Thank you for fixing my relationship with food as a ex anorexic. I began making simple, balanced meals. Adding carbs back in. Using oil without measuring every drop. Letting meals be satisfying. Cooking became less about rules and more about nourishment. Somewhere in that process, I stopped fighting food. And slowly, food stopped fighting me.

Honestly, it was so awesome to know I can make some of my favorite foods be just as tasty, but healthy too. Like a buffalo chicken dip that’s not chaulk full of fat and will actually help build muscle? That’s wild and so good!

It was one of those moments when I realized just how far I had strayed from my true self. I knew I wasn't skinny, but I was okay with that—I still felt 'cute,' right? Then my body started to frustrate me more than ever. About a year and a half ago, I embarked on a journey to align my outer appearance with how I felt inside. I wasn't searching for the fountain of youth; I simply didn't want to live in a body that was in constant pain. I wanted to feel good in my clothes and, honestly, I didn't want to look like the 55-year-old I was rapidly approaching. But more than anything, it was about feeling good in my own skin. That sense of comfort had eluded me for years. Who knows if it was my birthday, the physical changes, or a combination of both, but I have found myself feeling more confident than I ever had before. It's been so long since I felt this way that I can't even remember the last time—probably around 25 years ago. The picture on the left? That's me in 2022. The one on the right? That's me from just a few nights ago. Seeing them side by side hit me hard. Much like how I used humor to mask my weight, I realized I had used that extra weight as a shield, hiding from who I truly am and what I'm capable of. It's easy to blend in when you're hiding behind your skin. I soon discovered that working out and changing my diet still weren’t enough to move the needle. So, I started using semaglutide to help things along. But here’s the kicker—I love to eat! So, what was I to do? I scoured the Internet for high-protein, low-fat recipes and stumbled upon FDL. Food prepping became a new passion of mine, and my husband teased me about it. But then he saw me enjoying ice cream, pizza, and mac and cheese, and he couldn’t understand how I was still losing weight. When our best friends came over for dinner, I made the Spring Roll Salad. I tell everyone who will listen that I no longer deprive myself of anything. I'm happier, healthier, and thanks to all the tools in my toolkit, I have finally found the way that I can eat for the rest of my life...and most of all? Be happy about it. And my hubs? I'm now meal prepping for him, too!

I'm an early 40s woman with PCOS, which is a female hormonal disorder that among other things makes weight management a literal nightmare. Ever since I was of the female age to be considered hormone producing, I've struggled with being overweight. My doctors would've seen this in my annual bloodwork but I wasn't told about this diagnosis till I was well into my 30s, because every doctor just assumed the previous one had informed me. I'm also what would be considered financially poor, so getting on a mainstream diet or anything with above baseline costs was out of the question for me, and that made the situation of weight loss worse. But through content creators like Zach I've managed to find meal plans that are both affordable and don't taste so bland or bad that I feel like I'm punishing myself instead of dieting. I'm currently 70lbs down on my way to getting my weight back under control and even though I still have a long way to go, it feels good to have control of the narrative after so many years of being in the dark and being helpless to make changes. Thanks for what you do, Zach, because it helps me do what I need to do with much less stress.

Here are my goals for this year and how I’m planning to work toward them: My main goals are to build/maintain muscle while slowly leaning out and improving my overall fitness and consistency. I’m focusing on sticking to a regular lifting routine, getting in steady cardio, and being more intentional with my nutrition (especially hitting my protein goal and keeping calories in check). I’m also working on better habits overall — staying consistent with workouts, sleeping better, and being more mindful about food choices rather than being perfect. I am a senior female 5’3. who lost 20 lbs about 3-4 years ago. I live on a French Caribbean island (can u say wine cheese baguettes etc?) First is caloric deficit. Don’t listen to others who say 1200 is too low. For me I usually do omad because I like to enjoy a large meal and dine out a lot. Sometimes I have something like a yogurt or fruit before. I had to find what works for my lifestyle during and after the weight loss. I make protein a priority. The rest of the calories is whatever I want. Consistency is very important. I also weigh myself everyday. Even if the scale didn’t budge for 2 weeks I kept going. I hope this helps others.

My husband and I always struggled with yo-yo weight, everytime we started out strong but nothing ever felt sustainable long term. So after many Zach videos I finally decided to get a few a try. They were amazing… filling… easy… and we never felt restricted. We have continued this FDL journey together, there was something different this time, it was so easy to make that shift in measuring and substituting to make regular recipes work within our macros. We probably have on average 5 recipes a week from one of the many recipe books. We’ve both lost roughly 35lbs so far and our halfway to our goals. It’s not a drastic weight loss, like with keto, but it’s consistent, which is setting us up for long term success. Zach understood the challenge and knocked it out of the park with healthy great tasting foods while helping people create good eating habits.

Hi I started on the first of January even though I’m only down 7 lbs so far I am doing a weight training program so maybe I am transforming my whole body gaining muscle I have also just started doing kettlebells only light weights for them as I am going to use that as my cardio and heart health so I’m hoping to of lost more by end of next month . I’m also just starting eating healthier which I am enjoying so much . I’ve notice that since I’ve started working out that my heart rate is so much lower and when I’m walking I just feel so much more fitter this year I am 40 and want to be the best version of myself I have ever been so I have until December to do this and I am so committed

After having two kids and gestational diabetes that then turned into full fledged type 1 diabetic. I knew I had to make some healthy changes for myself, my future, and my kids. I signed up with a personal coach for 8months who taught me the importance of protein. I then stumbled across your page and tried several recipes. Who knew it could taste so good!? I've always been athletic - a national swimmer, athletic. But as I got older I stopped swimming. I worked a good job, got married, and had a family. After, I realized I went from 145lbs to almost 200lbs. I went back to the gym but was not consistent enough. Tried swimming but again- not consistently. Fast forward 5 years and I got my own home gym and I was somewhat consistent. Then, it clicked-I never really learned HOW to cook. I can do basic things but prepping and cooking chicken- I need a play-by-play and I'm not kidding. I tried but I never liked what I made. Then I found your page. Can't say I've made a lot of main dishes but I have made some and I've been more consistent now than ever before. I'm now 153lbs and going strong.

I am not where I want to be weight wise (I still have about 70ish pounds to go...I am down about 25 though!). I started with your recipes because I like to eat a lot, and your salads were something I thought could work. I got my wife in on it as well. Fast forward two years, we incorporate about two of your meals a week. We like to prioritize protein and whole foods, and your meals help us do that. What flipped the switch for me is that this is a marathon, not a sprint. If I fall off the horse, so to speak, that is okay, I just gotta get back on the next day. My diet is not perfect, but with your help, I am on the right track.

My transformation started when I was just out of high school. I didn't understand weight loss, weight gain etc. I remember my brother came to me and wanted to help me lose some weight, to feel confident in my body. Even looking back I have to say that I'm glad he helped. What changed for me was that food is food. That food is something we all should appreciate while we are here. It clicked with me realizing there's no good or bad foods. It's just food! It's energy!

I was operating on an all or nothing basis where I thought that I just had to abstain from all sweets to not be tempted by anything. The FDL recipes have allowed me to increase the volume of food I eat without taking on the additional calories, ultimately allowing me to enjoy delicious foods while maintaining my current weight and body fat (around 12%). I stopped eating pizza about 6 months ago, because every time I ate a slice, it turned into a whole pizza. Now I make the FDL PizzaDilla every weekend, and it fills that pizza-sized hole in my diet without the excess calories and the associated guilt/shame.

I wouldn't really call this a "transformation" per say but definitely a "come to jesus" moment that I realized what I was doing wrong all these years. I've always been the guy that's worked out, lifted weights, tried to eat healthy and make better decisions concerning my diet. I'm not a big guy by any means. 36 yrs old 5'8" ~170lbs. A Year ago I was 200 lbs. I felt like crap, made bad decisions with my diet and I drank too much alcohol. Finally I said, no more. I changed my diet (harder than I expected at first), quit using alcohol and really started being serious about lifting and getting my weight down and just to be overall more healthy. For me and my kids. Since then I've shaved roughly 30 lbs of fat and put on a lot more muscle. I recently found your recipes and it's made it SO MUCH easier to eat tastey food, lose fat and feel better. For that, I thank you!

Zach is the man! Feeding the masses and getting us fit at the same time. For me it was as simple as making the mental switch that tasty foods don’t have to be bad for you and healthy foods don’t have to taste like they’re bad for you hahaha Years ago I got myself a personal trainer/dietician and was able to lose almost 70lbs, at that point it was the healthiest I had ever been in my life. Was it fun? No. Did the food taste great during that process? No. Did it feel amazing to see that much weight disappear? Absolutely. The problem came when it was no longer sustainable to eat that boring and stay on track. Old habits came back and I put almost 30lbs back on….along comes Zach and the MF kitchen to save the day. With help from many of Zach’s recipes I’ve completely altered my diet, dialed in my macro’s and have lost 24lbs since Jan 4 until today Feb 19/2026 The crazier part is that’s on little old me who only started at 193lbs and today is sitting at 169lbs…imagine what these recipes could do for the folks who have significantly more weight to lose. I went from overweight in middle school with a lot of insecurities, to skinny in high school with good looks but the insecurities remained, then started my gym journey at 17 , I’m now 25 and can say that true progress clicked at around 24, when I understood nutrition, enjoyed what I ate, and overall focused on what I was doing, not just go to the gym because everyone does, eat chicken and rice because that’s what everyone does, started browsing reddit, youtube and su reddits like volumeeting, ninjacreami and 1200andunder gave me so many ideas of meals I never thought of, naturally I ended watching flexibledietinglifestyle due to finding on a subreddit the mention of the greek yogurt pizza, CHANGED MY LIFE, tweaked it to add toppings and flavors that I enjoyed, and trusted every other recipe, including the blueberry muffin one which I make on a weekly basis and replaced protein bars/snacks for me, I learn more and more everyday, and truly grateful to you and everyone else in this journey

Over the past 2 years, I have went from 335 pounds to 185 pounds! We were getting ready to have our 4th kid and I was always worn down and had bad sleep apnea. I was tired of being the dad that could do anything with his kids. Finally I said enough and started looking into what really causes weight loss. I never knew quite what to eat. Eating out meant junk food and eating in meant boring. So the weight kept piling up when I ate junk food, then guilty fasting, then cravings again... The cycle was neverending. And then I found one of your videos. It seemed simple enough, but more than that, it seemed doable, possible. So I just chose one recipe and it just grew from there. I realized that all I really needed was a plan. Not meal prep guides or complicated recipes. And slowly but surely I am losing my first few pounds while gaining confidence and, incredibly, a sense of control over what I eat that I never had before. It feels really good 👍🏽 Thanks for making it possible.

I’d always been overweight. I’d always assumed I was “naturally thick” like my mom was…. Turns out I just needed guidance. And macro friendly meals. I’m southern and comfort food is in my genes. Discovering my coach, and then Zach, and learning tha flexible dieting isn’t eating like a bird 5 days a week and binge eating on the weekends. It’s making simple swaps, and understanding how portions work. Finally seeing that I can in fact have ice cream and French fries for dinner. I can have pizza 7 days a week. It is all possible. When I turned to TFDL I weighed 179lbs and was so uncomfortable in my skin. In 10 months of flexible dieting and strength training I lost 50lbs and stepped on stage for a body competition. I’ve been able to maintain and live a happy life. And I STILL get to indulge once in a while for those “I’ll die without it” foods. So thank you Zach. Thank you for showing me that eating can be delicious and a weight loss tool all in one💪🏾

These recipes have helped me maintain what I had previously thought would be impossible to maintain. Genuinely, when I lost the weight the first time, I drove myself crazy being restrictive to keep it off. And, failed, I gained back like 40 lbs of it. Having food to actually look forward to and be creative with has made the restrictive feelings go away and made the second attempt so much better. It doesn't feel like I have to binge on other stuff because I can make it at home and it tastes great, doesn't involve a ton of time, and is easy. No weird ingredients. I feel like a lot of the things are actually better ingredients than what's in protein bars etc. - long post but, it's been a cool journey having healthier foods while not having to panic about not maintaining calories.

We have made do many of your recipes, and implemented changes with your small ingredient tweaks. Honestly we feel so much better making these little adjustments. ESPECIALLY with sauces! I'm a sauce girly, and to know that I can have a creamy buffalo sauce that I can drench my chalupa in, AND it's healthy!?? I'm in love. Mine and my husband's favorite recipe has to be the Buffalo chicken chalupa, and definitely the chicken tenders and fries recipe. It may he just chicken tenders and potatoes, but the techniques you show make it so much easier to follow and make it low cal. Thank you for giving us so many low cal recipes to keep in our arsenal. Can't wait for more!

Honestly I've just started and I haven't made a ton of progress on the scale YET! I've lost like 4 lbs but what I have done that is HUGE for me is I've almost entirely cut out added sugar. That's such a big deal for me personally. I don't feel deprived because I still get a sweet treat daily but it's healthier. I'm getting better sleep and not waking up in the middle of the night anymore. So I'm excited to see what continues to happen as I dial in my macros. :)

There are even a few that I've made for dinner and my 3 boys love them (egg roll in a bowl and beef and broccoli ramen!) My one suggestion would be to add a linked table of contents.

The sauce book is a GAME CHANGER. I didn't realize how much having tasty, low calorie sauces can completely change your diet around. Not only that, but there are some awesome ideas in here (like the big mac chalupa) that I've used to make other recipes I love into different things like salads, chalupas, etc. Zach's recipes are super helpful for getting your own creativity flowing and can be adapted and applied to many aspects of your diet. Also, subscribe to the newsletter! It's the only one in my email that I actually open and always has value. Highly recommend.

I came back to say this recipe is absolutely a game changer. We make it a minimum of once a week, usually more. This has made macro adherence so much more doable when I want to go off the rails "because it's the weekend"

Just made this 🔥🔥🔥 egg white hack is amazing. Cant really taste the egg but it adds a texture. I use a full serving of FF mozz and a full perving of sauce and still had impeccable macros!
