So many good things to say: Filtering the noise - if you’re like me and found your way to this path to seek true answers about nutrition & health specifically designed for your body, you’ve run across many versions of what could be true. Alex & Haven as a whole have helped me understand not just what will improve health outcomes but also how to begin accomplishing that goal. Fact-based personalized nutrition - not all bodies are the same. A couple blood test occur at the beginning of the process to determine several factors to help set an ideal guideline for nutrition. Takes all the guesswork out. There’s also a step-by-step process on what should be done first and how to progress as you incorporate those practices. Periodic counseling to troubleshoot - while there is a ton to learn, weekly, bi-weekly and when you finally get in a groove, monthly check-ins with Alex have been great. How-to questions, should I avoid this or that, I’d like to improve in this area, can all be discussed and Alex does an excellent job explaining and then providing solutions. HealthOS - they have also started an educational platform for patients that fill the gaps in between counseling sessions to learn more. Best results I’ve seen in the business world come from an educated customer. This gives you 24 hour access to content that will help you, especially at the beginning of this journey. Overall - you’ve got to be willing to take control of your life. But doing it yourself can be daunting. I know because I’ve tried. Alex & Kolby have streamlined the process and opened my and my wife’s eyes to understand the process it takes to begin to heal from years of subpar life and begin to feel like we did decades ago. This is not a quick fix and certainly not some fad diet, but a reboot to the way our bodies are supposed to feel each day and I know will lead to a longer, healthier and happy life. I was honestly a bit skeptical going into this, just because I already know so much about health and have a pretty solid lifestyle. Dr. Kolby helped transform my life when I needed help the most, struggling with a lot of digestive issues and anxiety and feeling like nobody else was hearing me. I went to see 3 different gastro doctors, did endoscopies, and they would send me home telling me I'm fine and that I need to avoid acidic foods. Well, I was already avoiding acidic foods and it wasn't helping which was why I was there in the first place! Crazy. Fast forward, Dr. Kolby introduced me to the importance of real foods, helped me realize that actually most of the foods I was consuming were inflammatory, and I cut out my intolerances. It was seriously a game changer. From there, I even got to come off my anxiety medication which I didn't want to be on in the first place...and later on got off my birth control! There are many practitioners/therapies out there and the internet is filled with videos on what to do and what not to do in terms of health. I was coming from a point where it had been 7 years of grave grappling sickness with no definite solution that really had me stuck in a deep bad pit (gut issues with a highly restrictive diet and quality of life, that diversified into skin, bone and other inflammatory ailments through the body). I was recommended for Dr. Kolby by a family member and that was the reason I could go ahead with it. I had always heard stories of how things changed for people but it hadn’t been me. With these experiences and my complicated gut history, I could not have fathomed that I could be disease free. I had tried many treatments/therapies (all that I could find) and been with innumerable doctors who couldn’t rightly point out my problem or help me overcome my issues (eat the normal range of food, travel, run, workout, dance, sustain food that isn’t home-made, pursue a career, menstruate without painkillers, eliminate acidity/allergy/gas issues). For the longest time I felt like I kept swinging the sword in the dark. Dr. Kolby noted my detailed health history and started with the food intolerance test that was a complete game changer for me. My body started healing inexplicably from the moment I initiated it. Responding with improvements somewhere and worsened symptoms elsewhere which all in all were only heading me to complete recovery. This test and Dr. Kolby as a person is a “highly rare find”. Earlier treatments did not look into my problem that deeply or with precision. Dr. Kolby really tried to pull me out from where I was. This regime coupled with identifying personalized body needs and assessments along with a precise and extraordinary choice for detoxes and/or other procedures helped me navigate my journey up till now. It’s been a little over a year and I have now reached a level of healing where I can say I am nearing almost 80% of overall improvement and that’s a major achievement! I’ve waited to come here one day and write this and I am so happy that day has finally started to show up. There’s more that I have to achieve as I can see my body clearer with the older things getting out of the way and I am quite certain I am going to make it all the way to a 100% of reaching my core goals. But to anyone who is suffering I would urge you to start your journey right away if possible. Healing can take time. It took me a little over a year to realize all that has changed in me. Even though through my journey I knew what milestones Dr. Kolby was reaching for me, it took me further life experiences to overcome my traumas and sustain the deep-rooted agony of a long-term illness and to finally break away from it. To accept that this really did work for me and changed my life. I can’t begin to describe what all Dr. Kolby has done for me. He really gets to know you, there’s an aura of comfort. You are heard and understood by an expert who strives to guide the best for you, no matter what. His patience, understanding of the problem, helping me figure out things while I took treatment from the other side of the globe are all things I’m grateful for. Not to miss the resources at Haven being very thorough and impeccable. If you’re someone who is ailing and reading this, situated anywhere in the world, this might just be the hope/solution you are longing for! I don’t know what health issue you are facing but based on the concepts and tests they follow there’s a good chance this might resolve at least some of your core issues and that is one hell of a big deal! The food intolerance test (Carroll FIM test) is highly individualized and aims to help the body heal from within (actual healing) irrespective of what or where the ailment is. I just hope whoever is in need definitely gets to know about this relatively unheard gem and just follow it. I can only talk about what worked for me, moved me past my stage, sitting on the other side of the globe and why what Haven does is indeed a breakthrough!

Dr. Kolby Ourada has helped me significantly throughout our time together. When I first came to see him, I had debilitating leg pain that prevented me from living a normal life as well as consistent GI and sleep troubles. After our 4 months together I can say that my leg pain has decreased by ~80% and my GI health is much stronger! Earlier this year (2024), I was diagnosed with a malignant neuroendrocrine pancreatic tumor. While researching holistic approaches to managing pancreatic cancer, I learned about the Gonzales approach...and found that Dr. Alex Orten was a certified Gonzales practitioner. Convinced this was an approach I wanted to try, I submitted my health history application to Haven Holistic for consideration....and was accepted into the program. Since that time, I am totally "cancer" free and my Allopathic practitioners are questioning whether or not I ever had a "mass." Although, CT and PET scans verify I did! Given I had severe food reactions and digestive concerns, Dr. Alex immediately had me complete testing, which showed GI enzyme intolerances. Since that time, Dr. Alex has worked with me to manage diet, supplement, detoxification and lifestyle plans to good health and well-being. In four months, my test results have shown massive improvements and my overall health has improved. However, the work is not over as diet, supplement, detox and lifestyle changes will continue. Dr. Alex Orton is a wonderful naturopath, and he has been an absolute pleasure to work with. (He has been guiding me with the Gonzalez Protocol for about 6 months now.) Dr Alex Orton with Haven Holistic Health is a man for whom I thank God. We started with Dr. Kolby after our daughter had been using multiple specialist doctors and hospitals for 4 years. She started in 5th grade with migraines that made her loose vision.
