OUr company was running on the me OS system and I was to involved in the day to day to keep the growth pace we were on. Going through the scalable OS system and implementing it was much easier than I thought and the balance of videos, work sheets and one on one meetings with my consultant was just right. I try not to throw around the word genius too much, but I think Ryan Deiss may be one. I say that because he makes the hard job of running a small to mid-sized business seem easy and manageable. He and his fantastic team, give practical and specific recommendations. We began our journey with a different business operating system. While that system gave us some structure to meeting cadence and formats, it severely lacked a holistic approach to business growth. Bob and the scalable system has been great with helping build the foundations for my practice to scale. Myself and my ops manager were still wearing too many hats (even after i thought we delegated sufficiently ) and Bob worked through the system with us and it already has helped us build out and empower the next layer of leadership in our business. After running my cleaning business for more than 35 years, I was used to knowing and being involved in just about everything. I joined the Get Scalable Accelerator because I wanted to grow the company without having to be involved in every detail. I certainly haven’t implemented everything 100% yet, and I still have some work to do. But I recently realized that I no longer know all the details of scheduling, payroll, hiring, and some other key areas of the company. My team is handling things that I used to be involved in every day. So that is progress! Putting more structure in place and getting clear on who is responsible for what has really helped. I think what surprised me most was realizing how much had changed while I was still thinking about everything I hadn’t finished yet. I was running the business on Me OS unknowingly & was very chaotic. But after building the company OS, things are pretty smooth. I have slowly started to get my time back, and I'm able to work on the business where it was in the business mostly before. The scalable system seems quite simple. I was thinking, "Something so simple, would that be effective?" but it is pretty thought through, and it is pretty effective. With the system & team in place, I am ready to scale. When I first noticed Scalable, it was CEO Ryan Deiss offering me a CEO Dashboard for free. I didn't realize the cost of the program if I wanted the training and support that went with using the dashboard but because I was really struggling with planning, growing my business (I didn't even know what 'scaling' meant!), I decided to sign up for a year. My business was growing in size but not in profitability, in revenue but also in expenses. I had many employees but we really didn't understand what roles were. As mentioned, the biggest surprise was the cost, but once I realized the value in that, it was a non-issue. The best surprise, though, was how available the CEO and the rest of their leadership team remain to me and my team when we have questions or concerns about the process. Having access to my personal mentor as well as the Scalable leadership team has been invaluable. I really appreciate the Dashboard and the scalable live chats as well as recorded videos so you can go back and watch again as a refresher, but I really believe that my Clarity Compass - once it's completed - will be my most-used tool in this toolbox. Since starting the program, I have noticed that I am handing off more decisions to people I trusted enough to hire but never enough to actually let them do their jobs instead of me doing them for them. I've learned freedom from feeling I had to do everything myself, I've learned better hiring practices, I've learned how to plan and trust people to follow the plan. Scalable was not inexpensive but I already feel that it was worth paying for and I really haven't fully reaped the rewards on it yet. We had been running EOS for over a year and saw some progress, but it felt incomplete. We could go on for hours about all that we’ve learned by using Scalable. We have older, senior managers who aren’t used to change.
