If you’re committed to offering counsel that brings true and lasting hope—hope rooted in Jesus Christ and the authority of His Word—then I can’t recommend The Biblical Counselors Society enough. It’s a community that stands firm on biblical truth while equipping you to serve others with wisdom, grace and conviction.

The Biblical Counselors Society has been a wonderful place to connect with other biblical counselors across the country (countries). Nick Sevier and others have collaborated to connect one another with wonderful resources, tools, and training resources. Friendships developed here are genuine, and the mutual prayer is a blessing. There is enough for you to take full advantage of what you're able to as time and schedules allow.

I can’t recommend Biblical Counselors Society enough. The community that is offered is top-notch.

"In the multitude of counselors there is safety, but where there is no counsel, the people fall” (Prov. 11:14). The Biblical Counselors Society fills a void that has been needed for some time now: a sound platform for biblical counselors who are isolated or alone or feel incompetent at times to be able to come together in order to grow in Christ, God’s wisdom, applicable knowledge for counseling, and to support/encourage and instruct each other in like-minded soul care. BCS is a society for all types of people with different levels of knowledge and experience to come together in strength as a woven cord not easily broken (Ecc. 4:12). Those who know and understand the sufficiency and superiority of God’s Word in counseling should seriously consider being a part of the Biblical Counselors Society.

Best of all, these resources and trainings are continually growing, ensuring ongoing development and support. With opportunities for fellowship, book clubs, and more. This Society fosters encouragement and continued growth. Every biblical counselor and pastor would do well to join. The Biblical Counselors Society is a treasure for those committed to faithful, biblical ministry!

A very comprehensive and interactive platform designed specifically for the Biblical Counselor. I’m thankful for all of the incredible resources and live collaborations that they have organized and created for us. Nick has done a marvelous job of assembling the Biblical Counseling Society. As an ACBC Fellow, I have been supervising Phase III budding counselors since the inception of certification. Over the years, on many occasions, former supervisees have contacted me to collaborate on unique and difficult cases. The idea of organizing a community where biblical counselors, many without access to a fellow biblical counselor, could collaborate has been a dream. However, the logistics of assembling such an organization has been outside my skill set. What the Lord has enabled Nick to provide for us is more than an organization that fills a niche market; it is an essential tool whose time has come.

In a time of increasing confusion around what it means to counsel biblically, Biblical Counselors Society provides a reliable network of faithful men and women who desire to encourage one another toward faithful Word ministry while guarding against the current trend of adopting ungodly ways of thinking through the problems people face and how to care for them. Either the Scriptures are sufficient for addressing life’s issues or they’re not. I’m thankful to see BCS holding to what historical biblical counselors have believed from the outset, that God’s Word is indeed enough to guide those who desire to glorify God in every part of life.

The value I see the BC Society providing is support through various ways of communication and counseling tools found all in one place for those with like beliefs. Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. This will help us to provide the best to those who come to us for answers. This is invaluable.

The Biblical Counselors Society has quickly established itself as a great resource for those seeking daily support, greater confidence and knowledge, and active collaboration with colleagues around the world. BCS makes this all available in a private online community where everyone is focused on fellowship, sharing knowledge and resources, and the collective growth of community members for God’s glory and the good of His people.

I’ve only been a part of the Biblical Counselors Society for two weeks, and I’m already enjoying the benefits of the fellowship and resources. In the Coffee Hour, we celebrate what God is doing in our lives and ministries and share plans and encouragement for the future. The resource library of counseling tools, homework assignments, and case wisdom assets, as well as opportunities to collaborate are treasures. Next to the salvation of souls, the care of souls—as they wrestle with obedience and disobedience, hope and despair, truth and deception, wavering or perseverance, self-reliance or surrender, in all manner of trials—is so important. All we can do to prepare and minister to one another as we minister to others is time immensely well spent.

What an encouragement to have the Biblical Counselors Society a part of my day!!! Living in Utah, where there is definitely a deficiency of biblical counselors, it is such a huge support to easily develop relationships and share resources with like-minded believers.
