Really good course, they're short and sweet without the fluff. I feel more empowered to do more automated things as a product owner and not use spreadsheets as if it was 2010 all over again.

I signed up for "Beginner Apps Script" right after completing Ben's "Introduction to Google Apps Script" course. If you're thinking about signing up for this course and you've completed the "Intro" course: do it. While Ben does review topics from the Intro course, he goes into much deeper information on those topics (so if there was a moment you went 'Huh?', it makes so much more sense here!). Further, this course. has really opened up a passion -- that I didn't know was there! -- into programming, and I've begun to learn Python! It's kinda cool learning a new language and seeing how the ideas Ben taught here connect! Thanks again, Ben!!

I teach coding to middle school students, this year focusing on using Google Sheets to create Relational Databases. I also use Google Sheets for many tasks in the Admissions, Development and Business office of our school. Ben's enthusiasm for the various topics in this course is FABULOUS, and I can regularly be heard yelling "that's awesome!" while watching the videos (much to my officemates' amusement). I've shared some of what I've learned in this class not only with my students, but with colleagues and other spreadsheet-geek friends. Having the sample sheets for each topic has also helped me go back and really use a function in my own work.

As always, Ben has developed and delivered a high-quality and content-rich accessible course to enhance the users knowledge of Google Sheets. This practical set of lessons and examples are easy to follow, yet complex enough to know you are really learning how to best leverage sheets for a variety of purposes. I really appreciated the attention in leveraging generative AI in conjuction with Sheets. We transitioned from a Microsoft Office to Google Workspace a few years ago. I had the Excel skills, but I wanted to become more productive in Google Sheets. Ben Collins has the best courses!!! I get all my Google certifications through his program. I'm currently earning my certification is his newest class called Modern Google Sheets. I'm so impressed with the results so far that I have already put them into practice at work (literally right now), and I can't wait to share them with my team.

I've already been using AI in google sheets via one of the add-ons mentioned in this course, but there is still quite a bit more to learn. Ben's course is full of helpful tips to start using in a daily workflow. I would definitely recommend this course... especially if Google Apps Script isn't your thing!!

Even 5 years later (I completed it in 2025) this course is still very much relevant. Ben is an excellent teacher and the project at the end was a perfect starting point for a larger portfolio project.

Nothing short of amazing. I finally feel that I can automate data on Sheets. I was looking for courses that involved Macros and improving data management on Sheets in general, and I found this one. The name implies that it is only an introduction, but it really got me surprised on the amount of content and value that it brought me - it will surely help me a lot throughout not only my career, but my personal life as well.

I have taken the course Google Sheet Essentials and I liked the way the course is been designed with working Templates.
