Hello! My name is LeahRae Rusu and I’m a strategic changemaker in education with 10 years of experience supporting, building, and growing educational teams and networks. I am currently transitioning out of K-12 education and into training and development. When I met Greg, I was early in the early phases of my job search and just starting to figure it all out! I was new to networking and we connected over a shared background in education. We set up a time to chat and he asked me to bring along a few recent job postings that I had applied to. We took a deep dive into the language from the job posting and we ran a mock interview. This exercise was really helpful because it pushed me to identify clear examples of how my experiences directly translated into the role I was applying for. These conversations gave me clarity on how to clean up my resume and LinkedIn profile so that they align with the roles I’m seeking. It was also great practice for a real interview and gave me applicable language to use in a cover letter. I was able to walk away with clarity and actionable next steps that helped me continue to grow in this process. Greg is thoughtful, organized, and has a clear vision. Feel free to reach out and connect with me on LinkedIn.
I have been in higher education for over 12 years and have been looking to transition into a Customer Success Manager role. Greg helped me identify my values and what I feel is important in a new position - having somebody to talk this through with was very beneficial. Greg also reviewed my resume and gave me some good feedback to make improvements. I really enjoyed working with Greg and appreciate the effort he put forth in helping me take the next step(s) in my career transition; I would highly recommend working with Greg!
When I wanted to transition from academia to the corporate world, Greg reached out to me and provided me with some of the most useful advice I didn’t know I needed. In turn, he helped me land the exact role I was looking for. He gave me practical advice on adapting my CV with corporate-friendly language, and how to present myself to recruiters in a way that played to my strengths and transferable skills. What I appreciated the most was that he’d made the same transition that I was looking to make - which meant that his advice was tried and tested. More than that, he showed genuine interest in facilitating my job search, and provided me with concrete feedback. Cannot recommend Greg’s help enough!
At the moment, I am transitioning from a PhD into industry and considering different options. Greg was very helpful in narrowing down various options. He gave me great guidance, encouragement, and practical next steps. I highly recommend his services.
