This course is by far the best investment I’ve made in my guitar journey. After 1.5 years of playing songs learned from tabs, I finally decided to develop my own style. I spent countless hours watching music theory videos, but I struggled to apply the concepts to my playing. I felt completely lost, unsure of how to connect theory with practice. That all changed with this course. It not only covers fundamental concepts like scale shapes and positions but also does a phenomenal job of helping you truly understand them and turn theory into music. One of the biggest takeaways for me was learning how to create a structured "roadmap" for my practice, giving me a clear sense of direction on what steps to take to improve. This course is packed with value for both beginners and advanced players—there’s so much to learn at every level. Highly recommend!

This course is exactly what I was looking for! Like many guitarists, I struggled to easily play up and down the fretboard and didn't really understand how scales related to each other. This course has helped me understand not only how to connect all of the modes across the fretboard, but apply that to actual music and improvisation. Roy Ziv is the man!

First of all, this is the best and most helpful guitar course I did so far. I bought a few other courses on that topic but none of these helped me to understand that Modes topic and how everything is connected. So, if you always wanted to raise your Soloing game to a higher level, I fully recommend this course. It is amazing! (:

Incredibly helpful and exciting. I will admit, it gets kinda confusing, but Roy Kills it by answering questions that pop up in your head along the way. Looking forward to continuing the rest of the courses and continuing to review the Guitar modes course again! One day I will teach you some Licks Roy!!lol

Roy is THE man…..one of the best teachers online. I’ve been struggling to understand modes for years and this course was the best thing that could happen to me. Finally I understand how to move through the entire fretboard, all the shapes and relations to the chords. Worth every penny …

- Buy this course right now. Don't hesitate like I did. It's worth every single penny. - I knew all the pentatonic shapes but none of the natural major scales. It always felt too overwhelming to learn so I stuck with pentatonic, and didn't understand modes at all. I had never tried 3 note per string scales either. - I enjoyed the videos breaking down each concept and providing follow along playing to physically learn to apply the concepts being taught. Roy does an excellent job explaining the reasoning and logic behind the theories in a way that's really easy to understand and retain. - This is the best guitar course I've ever taken, I've been playing for 20 years and have tried a lot of courses but ended up overwhelmed and going back to my comfort zone. I followed this program along slowly and to a T, did all the exercises and practice routines as prescribed and practiced 5 - 7 days a week for 30 - 90 minutes just as a reference. Best results I've ever gotten from any instructor, both online or in person. Roy is the real deal, buy this course, follow it as outlined, he makes it so easy, and you won't recognize yourself.

I love it so far. It brings me to places I pushed away so far with my guitar love / hate relationship. I bought this course for myself for my 50th birthday, and it is such a great gift. Roy is a great teacher, positive & clear. Super recommended!

While learning guitar, my dream was always to be able to play rich solos that sound pleasing to the ear, and this course opened the door to that for me. The theoretical resources I had found before contained mostly general information, were specific to areas like piano or orchestra, or consisted of small fragments. This course, however, is a guide that takes you directly to the goal for solo guitar, using shortcuts on the guitar fretboard. I understood how music is formed on the guitar and how it can be enriched in a solo context. The theoretical knowledge I already had allowed me to move quickly through the basic sections, but I realized that I needed to practice a lot in the later sections. Before, I was trying to improvise by practicing certain techniques without knowing what I should work on or which path to follow. Now I understand the situation, I know what I need to practice and what the goal is. Thank you very much, Roy.

If you’re someone that finds the Fret board confusing, you need to try this course! Roy‘s patterns take your away from the traditional box positions and move laterally up and down the entire neck.
