We flew out to work with Patrick when we wanted to incorporate more power into my sons swing, Patrick didn’t try to force his way of hitting onto us, he took the time to watch my son hit and made recommendations based off my sons strengths and weaknesses and made adjustments my son was comfortable with . Patrick quickly responds to submitted video and has great insight to share on an approach to hitting that has made my son more comfortable in the box . We will be flying out again before his Senior season starts and possibly again in the summer pre-draft . There are lots of choices when it comes to hitting instruction , I’m glad we found a guy who doesn’t try to create robots that all swing the same. I can’t recommend working with Patrick enough.

My sons had the privilege of working with Patrick, and the improvement in their hitting has been remarkable. After analyzing their swings, Patrick tactfully implemented personalized drills to target specific movements. From the glaring flaws to the most minute refinements, Patrick did an excellent job providing drills, subtle cues, time, and space for my hitters to self-organize their movements. He kept things simple and allowed them to truly focus on the key points/movements with consistent feedback from himself, HitTrax data, and video analysis. Patrick has a keen eye for detail and excellent ability to communicate complex techniques in a simple, relatable manner. Throughout their time together, Patrick masterfully pushed both boys just beyond their personal comfort zones in each of the sessions, and that productive struggle elicited the most significant gains. Beyond the physical components of hitting, Patrick’s ability to teach the mental component is second to none. The growth between the ears for each of my sons has been transformational. After working with Patrick throughout the offseason, they now step into the batter’s box with a good approach and significantly more confidence. They are not intimidated by velocity or sharp breaking balls as Patrick helped them to become more process-oriented. Patrick helped them to grow in their ability to focus on what they can control (being on time, expanding or shrinking the zone as the count changes) and not the outcome of a particular at bat. Having a confident kid with a decent approach at the plate is just as important as having a fundamentally sound swing. As a professional educator, former Varsity Head Coach, and former Division 1 player, I cannot recommend working with Patrick enough. He has an excellent wealth of knowledge and is always looking for new ideas to bring to the players he coaches. More important, however, is his ability to connect with players and provide personalized instruction on all facets of hitting. My sons always look forward to their sessions with Patrick and truly appreciate the way he coaches and supports them. Patrick works with a number of our players at Moeller High School. His insight, approach and mindset around not only hitting but the game itself is phenomenal. Patrick has been working with our daughter for the past 5 months. "Patrick has been working with my daughter for approximately one year. 

 She’s had great success with hitting coaches, but her swing was just not right. From 9U travel ball to national level 16U, she would always get hits, but she was not the power hitter she should be for weight training 5 days per week. 

When Patrick began lessons, he stressed the importance of having a plan, working the count, and expanding her zone. I’m not joking, he corrected her swing in one lesson while I watched. 

 Since working with Patrick, my daughter still has the most hits, but these hits are all extra base hits, homeruns, and RBI’s. During the Spring 2023 travel season, she played in almost every competitive national tournament in the country. In 52 games, she batted .428. She had 59 hits, 27 extra base hits , 47 RBIs, and 7 homeruns. 

 After 8 years of travel ball, my daughter just signed with a Power 5 college.
