I initially wasn't sure about doing Tai Chi, thinking my arthritis might prevent me from fully participating, but I gave Angie's step by step course a chance. To my surprise, not only could I keep up with the modifications in the course, but the movements also helped ease my discomfort. Seeing different camera angles and experiencing Angie's patient teaching style made all the difference. Thank you Angie, for your gentle guidance through each step!

Amanda’s Wellness Q&A was so helpful! Her depth and breadth of knowledge about Nutrition is impressive. She shares information in a clear, thoughtful, any kind way that’s easy to digest (pun intended lol). Thank you for this gift of your knowledge and care, Amanda!

I began searching for Tai Chi videos on YouTube to help manage severe anxiety and depression that started at the beginning of 2025. That’s when I came across one of Angie Sierra’s videos. Her clear, friendly instruction immediately stood out, and I decided to try the Step-by-Step Tai Chi 24 Yang Style course. The format is incredibly user-friendly. Each movement is broken down individually, loops automatically, and flows seamlessly without having to hit replay. This made learning feel natural and accessible. I also really appreciated how each lesson ends by connecting all the moves, which helped reinforce what I’d just learned. Although I’m still early in my practice, this course has become an invaluable resource. Living in a small city in Texas where access to Tai-Chi is limited, I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to learn online.Thank you for putting so much thought and care into these lessons!

I have been a regular at Angie's Tai Chi class pretty much every Sunday for over a year. It's become a place for me to connect to nature and myself - a moving meditation. I plan all my events around it or invite friends/family whenever they want to spend time with me. I enjoy this class so much that I will be getting my Tai Chi Instructor Certification!! I love how this class makes me feel and I want to help share this art with as many people as I can :)

This class is absolutely amazing in so many ways. Angie is a fabulous teacher - she has a calm, soothing voice, she explains each movement carefully and precisely, and she exudes levity, gentle support, and genuine care. After spending an hour with her and the group I feel grounded, I feel lighter, my body feels strong and my mind has cleared the cobwebs. I find I leave class with contentment and a quiet clarity that I did not start the class with. Give yourself this gift, I highly recommend!

This class is the best experience anyone could have whether if is the first time doing taichi, or as a regular practitioner. I started doing classes with Angie maybe 3 years ago, and I came out of curiosity. What is special a unique about her classes, is not only learning the taichi moves, but truly feeling the healing and body/mind/soul connection when she is leading us. She is very special and I am so blessed and found her and grateful for her teachings. One of the most magical things is that her classes are free and you give her what you want to offer

Well, I finally arrived on time and joined the friendly, welcoming and surprisingly large community that come together each week in Carlson Park. Together we stretched our bodies, found our breath and challenged our balance. Most of all, we were led in a practice of self acceptance and appreciation for what is in the here and now. Priceless! FYI- it is pay what you can with cash, Venmo etc. which makes it affordable for everyone. Amazing.

I tried Tai Chi here for the first time last weekend and found it relaxing and energizing. The park setting, supportive instructor, and welcoming group made it easy to follow. Having experienced students spread throughout the class was especially helpful for beginners. I enjoyed it so much that I plan to come back. Thank you, Angie!

Fantastic experience as a newbie to Tai Chi. If you’re familiar with meditation and are looking to get more in tune with your body, you’re in for a treat! Instructors are warm and friendly, and the class is non judgmental.

I have been coming to this tai chi group for years now. I started off intermittently but now I never miss a Sunday if I can help it. The calm and focus the practice provides sets my tone for the week. I've tried yoga a bunch of times but the static poses weren't for me. And sitting still to meditate doesn't work for me either. Tai chi is like a moving meditation that allows me to tune out the world and my thoughts (or at least keep trying to--it's a practice). At first, it seemed like a lot to learn, but Angie breaks down the movements step by step and reminds us that "any movement is good movement" in case people are still learning. I used to park myself right behind one of the regulars and follow him, and now I'm one of those regulars myself Even though I've been coming for years, I still find new subtleties in different parts of the form. It has also given me great balance, better than I've ever had in my life. I once took a tai chi course that met inside and was very technically precise. I so much prefer doing it outside in the park. Sometimes I wish for specific critique of my form but we do get that during the periodic intermediate/advanced classes she offers. There are generally anywhere from 25-50 people at a session. It's donation based (cash or Venmo), so free if you want to just check it out. I always give because it's so worth it to me.
