I got hired by Dinesh as an XR developer thanks to what I learned at immersive insiders. I went from being a mechanical engineer to an XR developer in about 8 months. The courses are well structured and not too long. Hence it took me less than a year to switch jobs. I was a beginner with zero knowledge about XR. But after I started with the Unity course, followed by the C#, AR, and  finally the VR course, I was able to develop my own project and published it online.  The programming concepts taught were industry standards, so I was able to get up to speed with the industry expectations.

The immersive insider team helped me greatly when creating my first games. They had relevant and direct information that was easy to follow with both text, lectures or gifs. When getting into Unity or other programs for the first time, there is a lot to keep track of. One wrong button press might have you confused for hours. That's why it was so nice following along and learning the basics as well as secret tips from the Immersive Insider guides. They solved my problems and made for a better creative process. Hi, Just wanted to give some feedback as it has been a really useful course so far (halfway through AR course). It has really helped me to get my head around what goes into the creation and set-up of an AR game. I really like the fact that you show everything so that I can follow along. And you have a great teaching style. I only have several small pieces of constructive feedback. 1. When we start getting into the more complex aspects of the course, it becomes quite hard to follow. Sometimes I find myself writing code which I don't really understand, or the 'why' isn't fully explained. Maybe it's because this is aimed at a higher level coder than myself. But as a relative beginner, I'm finding it hard. I guess to help with this, the videos could be broken down into shorter (more manageable) chunks with a more defined focus? For example, a 25 minute video can often take me over an hour to get through while pausing/rewinding etc. and covers multiple aspects. Whereas 5-10 minute videos with a defined focus could be really useful to make the learner more likely to finish the course (and would give them an easier reference if wanting to look over the back-catalogue). 2. Instead of us simply copying the code, it could be fun (and better for learning) if you set small mini challenges. That way it would force the learner to be more interactive and try to figure out the problems themselves. Those were the only bits of feedback I have. Thanks, Rory

I have no experience with Unity and they dedicated their time to show me how to create an experience. I'm amazed by the help and the determination from Immersive insiders.

They helped me figuring out how to perform good games with hand tracking interaction. There is no good documentation on this topic out there.

Immersive Insiders have helped me a lot to get started with Unity, Shapes and XR in general. I had never even opened Unity before Immersive Insiders held classes for me (and the rest of my "Immersive Creator" class). At first it seemed painfully difficult but they guided me along and in no time I (and everyone else) was able to create some really cool shit. We covered "passthrough", "handtracking" and "scripting" among other things. I was impressed by the pedagogical teachings and the very efficient and friendly support from both Ashray and Dinesh. Highly recommended! Now back to Unity to create some new exciting stuff...

Immersive insiders helped me get started! There are a lot of content out there but its impossible to know what is relevant and what is old news, Immersive insiders made a clear path for me. The courses are devided in bite-size chunks so not to be overwhelmed. I finnaly have working in-game portals!

Their teaching style stuits me, with multiple videos making up one class they're able to follow a good pace while not making me overwhelmed.
