This course was fantastic. The best moment for me was learning which chords on my left-hand fit with the right hand melody. The chord progressions are also helpful.

Chord Voicing Intensive is a treasure chest of chord voicing techniques to use with your lead sheets and chord progressions. Course presentation is excellent, delivered in a clear, measured and precise way.

Clearly explained in a logical step wise fashion. For me it filled a crucial piece of the puzzle I thought I couldn't achieve. Deceptively simple as it was, it was a lot to unpack and digest.

There's many things I did not know until I joined the course. Such as common melodic shapes, popular melodic shapes. The course is an eye opener.  Now I have better understanding on how to transcribe the songs.

Your courses and exercises are so clear and efficient. Many aha moments that I was looking for a long time. I should have done this 10 years ago. It really opens a new world.

Being a quasi beginner I was completely overwhelmed and confused by random YouTube Tutorials. Looking for an excellent teacher who's lessons don't drag on and on? Julian presents everything in a timely and orderly manner and easy to understand. I don't have time to waste listening to lessons that have analogous dialog that drags things out. I just want the actual lesson content and that is exactly what Julian provides. I have been using His courses for over 10 years now and am now confident that Julian has turned Me in to a competent Jazz pianist

If you want to play piano, self-help books and Youtube videos don't really work. They may inspire to to say, "I wanna play like that", but you need more. Julian's tutorials start simple and will get you where you want to be. I highly recommend his course.

You'll be hard pressed to find a better teacher of jazz piano, particularly for the beginner and intermediate student. When you've got Julian's courses under your belt, you can face the often bewildering landscape of jazz piano with much greater confidence.

As someone who has been studying jazz piano for only a couple of years I find Julian's approach to teaching extremely approachable and intuitive. His videos are in short digestible bits and include really great tips and metaphors for thinking about what might be very difficult concepts to grasp.
