Earning my GED has given me the confidence to do anything! I have waited years and my eldest son and husband were the best supporters. I couldn’t have done it without them especially without myself. I am so proud of my accomplishments. I even pursued getting my Real Estate License and received it in the same year as well. I took my GED to prove I can still do it even in my forties and nothing is impossible.

Hello, everyone my name is Shelly Evans and I am a 42 year old single mother of 3 amazing boys. I got my GED July 24, 2024, after a difficult childhood being kicked out at 10 years old I never thought I could get my GED. I had some amazing people at Laurel County Adult Education who told me they would get me there. I went in and completed it in a little over 2 months. I am currently a full-time student in college to be a counselor, I want to touch others and show them anything is possible.

CONGRATS 2025 GED graduates!! As a fellow 2025 GED graduate, I am blessed to say that with getting my GED this year, I have been able to enroll in the University of Pikeville in Pikeville Kentucky! I will be starting this fall 2025 with the Music Education program! Hopefully in the next 4 years I will be a UPIKE graduate to start off my dream career as a band director! I struggled with school since I can remember. I would spend a month or two absent from school, but my struggle really got to a point of no return at the end of the first semester of my junior year of high school. It really hurt me and I didn’t know what to do after so many years of barley making it, this time was different. My parents finally suggested they pull me out of school in November 2023 and immediately got me into the GED program at Chat Tech and I earned my GED in August 2024 at 17 ❤️

So I got my GED because I was having trouble in high school. I graduated with my ged, and it has allowed me to move to my next chapter in my life. I am so amazed at the opportunities that getting my diploma has allowed me to do. Getting a GED is the best alternative pathway to success.

My name is Tiana and Im 39 years old and I earned my GED this passed October 2024. I’m now currently attending Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology for my esthetics license which I’ll be graduating next month (June 13, 2025). I’m so proud of myself for making the decision to get my GED and set out for my dream career. There’s no stopping me now. The sky’s the limit💕 Happy Grad Day to all my fellow GED Grads!!!! WE DID IT!!!!💪🏾

Getting my GED has opened doors for me to further my education so that I can get certified for my dream job. It was a huge accomplishment I was able to achieve by being consistent. I dropped out of high school when i found out my ex girlfriend got pregnant with my son and made a promise to my papa before he passed away that i would go back get my ged my son inspired me to get my ged and he made me keep pushing myself so now im going to school for hvac if you havent got your ged then it isnt your time everything will fall into place at that time just dont give up when that time comes

Earning my GED opened doors I thought were closed forever. It allowed me to apply for better jobs, consider college, and feel confident about my future. It gave me a fresh start. I feel incredibly proud and emotional. I’m beyond proud! Watching someone overcome obstacles, stay committed, and achieve their GED is inspiring. It’s proof that it’s never too late to take charge of your life. I screamed! I jumped up and down, tears in my eyes. I took GED to go to college to study computer science.

Took me 18 years 3 trys and now I have finally accomplished my GED.
