Just Right Reader Each student will receive 5 small decodable books targeting phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension. Before the books go home, our summer teachers will use the accompanying lesson plans and other resources to incorporate these books into their daily reading lessons. At the end of the week, students are allowed to take the book home to complete family activities together with their parents or guardians. Coahoma County School District thanks Just Right Reader for selecting us to pilot their Take Home Packs Program. Our limit was 100 students. All CCSD 2nd graders and several 3rd graders were selected to pilot the program. Each student receives 5 or 10 small decodables. Before the books go home, teachers use the accompanying lesson plans and other resources to incorporate these books into their daily reading lessons. Once the teachers send the books home, the students and parents complete family activities together.

Books were selected based on students' phonics skills. These books are decodable, focusing on a specific phonics skill.
