Double has a seemless integration with QuickBooks Online. My clients review the data, answer questions, provide feedback, and upload documents directly into the platform, making it so easy to categorize transactions and run financials directly from Double. I've tried so many different ways of getting my clients to respond and send documents outside of email, and absolutely nothing worked... except this! I couldn't imagine not using Double for my clients' portals.

Double has been a game-changer for managing my business. I have been able to create SOP's inside of Double for daily, weekly and monthly closing tasks to be checked off by my bookkeepers inside of each client portal. Nothing is forgotten and I am able to track what each employee is doing and where we are in the process of closing clients' accounts at a quick glance. Double is also amazing for your clients. We are no longer downloading uncategorized transactions into Excel, editing excel to make it look pretty, saving and then attaching to a email. We are able to mark transactions we have questions on with one click and then send an email template within Double to let them know they have questions in their portal with another click or two. Once we have the answer back from the client, we are able to code that transaction in Double. It's a one-stop shop! Huge time saver. I honestly don't know how we would live without it at this point in time. Also, if you ever have a question or are having issues, they are super responsive.

Double is a must in my firm. It has changed the game for us. Using Double allows us to easily track progress of monthly closes and the Double team is always looking for ways to improve the app. They listen to our feedback and continue to improve the software.

I love Double because it makes me more organized and not miss a thing. I love that there are sections where I can add and remove as many subcategories to review and check off. When I review the transactions by subsections, it helps me catch transactions incorrectly categorized. Now that there is a Double extension for QBO, I get to ask questions to clients directly from QBO. That is very helpful too. I love that clients can also upload to their portal. It is just a perk to stay organized.

Where to begin? At the start, it was the immediate improvement to how we ask questions to our clients. Now it's evolved into how I manage quality control while delegating to my team. The Double team is constantly improving the app and pushing forward on user-requested solutions. I would recommend them to any practice whether you're just starting out or an established firm.

In addition to the checklists, Double allows you to create your own templates for different types of client projects and a unique client portal where you can collaborate efficiently with the clients and/or their staff. Double is a fantastic tool for overseeing a bookkeeping practice, ensuring accurate bookkeeping in QBO and Xero as well as administering quality control over your employees. In addition, the portal, financial reporting and W9 management offer a way to add value to your clients and set you apart from other practices.

I implemented Double at the 1099 deadline but have been using it for all of my clients since, and it has been so much help in identifying discrepancies in the books before I get to the year-end review. I have also started using it for onboarding clients, saving me time from sending out reminder emails to gather information.

Double streamlines the main processes of our accounting firm. Without Double we had to use a few different softwares to accomplish the same tasks. We can structure client onboarding, monthly financials, and document storage all within Double. They give a ton of control as well so we can customize when, who, and what we email.
