I attended Dennis’ leadership training and cannot express how his style and presentation affected me personally. I’m so thankful for all the takeaways. I immediately started incorporating them into my weekly team training. We focused on blind spots, feedback, and celebrating wins, and it became one of the most engaging meetings we’ve ever had. Just this morning, an employee took initiative to solve a problem and share it with the team. WOOP! That was a huge win!

My time with Dennis and Lisa McIntee and Leadership Process has been rich. I spent 4+ years going through both their coaching program and participating in their roundtable programs. From time to time I am still able to recall some of the content right when I need it for certain situations. I enjoyed the Leadership 101 session led by Steve. He did a great job drawing the team members out to discuss the modules they completed. The team members discuss different ways to host conversations and connect the dots between accountability and level of care. I think it's a great course for new managers or team members interested in management. The session reveals common leadership challenges you cannot learn in a tradition classroom setting.

Dennis was easy to work with. He was prepared, professional, timely and flexible to the needs of our group. His delivery method and acronyms made the content easy to understand and apply. We absolutely recommend Dennis to organizations that need to elevate their performance by creating a culture of trust and results-oriented performance. Dennis led a very informative discussion with content and tactics to drive change. His approach and delivery style resonated with our group and all found the investment worthwhile.

I've never been in a training where someone has asked what we want to get out of the training and actually follows through on making sure that we touch on each point. So I really appreciated that, and really liked that Dennis was able to connect the frameworks to some of the things that our staff wanted to get out of the training themselves. A lot of our staff really enjoyed that they can use the tools, not only in their professional life, but also in their personal life.

Dennis gave us good practical tools that helped our entire team think like-mindedly. The training united us and bonded us together towards our goals.

The training was great! I received excellent feedback from my team members, a day well spent out of the communities. That is always the balance when you take people out of the community for the day leaving the day's work behind. Everyone was very pleased.

I was able to participate in LDG’s two-day Intentional Leadership Workshop in July of 2024. I do have a graduate degree in Nursing with a focus in Nursing Leadership. The information shared in this two-day workshop not only caused me to examine my thinking but also helped me refine my approach to effectively leading my team. I think the practical application of basic leadership skills was the most profound take away for me. I would highly recommend the content to anyone at any level of Leadership. One of my philosophies is to find the positive side of adversity. You changed my thinking…in a positive way.

Dennis did a great job ‘breaking the ice’ with our facilities staff (an often tough audience). One of the first things Dennis did was an exercise that required the team to talk to each other and work together. From that point forward he had their attention and interest. The content was perfect. Dennis focused on a few key principles, then built upon them to reinforce his message. I really enjoyed how he simplified a very complex concept (perfect for a facilities team). I have had Dennis present to a wide variety of audiences at the university and I would strongly recommend him to other business leaders. His message is undeniably interesting, effective and impactful.

I was able to put my emotional intelligence to work. I had the opportunity to get to know myself better by exploring my working style. I am constantly referring to my personal assessment tools that were completed in class to understand myself and members of my team. This training has given me a chance to take a step back to examine the bigger picture and think about how the future may unfold. This course helped me see my challenges from a different perspective. I was able to increase my confidence and understand different work relationships by handling each team member differently. I have been able to have a positive experience with coworkers. In this course, I had the opportunity to network with other campus leaders and draw on their experiences. Together, we all have had the opportunity to collaborate with each other and share skills. Knowing how to develop and communicate my vision, especially during a time of change, can empower and motivate others.
