Alexa's speaking classes are taught by Charlotte, a native French speaker. Her diction is perfect whether she is speaking French or English and she is such a warm and giving person. Her classes are well organized and ample material is provided in advance to use during the classes. I look forward to taking more of her language classes when I finish my current French travel.

From Zero to Hero in French! The reason I embarked on this journey was for immigration purposes. The structure of the content, the videos and practical exercises, the live sessions, TEF preparation, and overall support from the team were simply excellent! I took the TEF exam in January of 2025 and obtained a high intermediate proficiency in French all thanks to Alexa's world class course! This is the best course out there to learn French and would highly recommend it to anyone who is keen on learning the language.

I will be first doing the French course, but I have seen the TEF course structure and it looks to me it will help in clearing the exam for sure. Maybe I will come back to review again once I start working on it. Thank Alexa and team.

Passed my TEF Canada Exam 

I am thrilled to share that I just passed my TEF Canada exam with great scores and it was all thanks to the persistent guidance and efforts of the professors at Learn French with Alexa who made the TEF journey a cake walk for me. I just want you to know how much I really enjoy your French class. Recently, I have decided to move to Nice, France next year in my retirement, so I signed up in August for your complete French class. I took the whole 40 lessons, taking every quiz, taking every supplemental lesson and reviewing every support guide in two weeks!! It was quite an effort with all the content you provide. Then I took the 40 lessons en tout again over the following two weeks and now I am halfway through the 3rd time, taking it slower while also looking at your live sessions. I must tell you I did major in French at my University in the United States. However, that was 40 years ago. So, I understood most everything that you were teaching in your complete French course, I was just very rusty. I was following about 6 to 7 French professors on YouTube and Facebook and was at first concerned about talking your course because you speak English. Some of the other professors speak only in French and my University classes were only in French. However, you are by far the best teacher. You also show such kindness and caring for your students and your classes are structured so well. It is such a joy for me to take your classes.

Worth your money I loved it! I acquired the package of the complete course and also the TEF exam preparation course. I've been learning for about 3 months now and Alexa makes it fun, easy and she gives you very helpful tips. She gives you a lot of material so you can practice. She keeps on posting more and more lives, which you can always continue learning.

I'm writing because I wanted to thank you. I started learning French about a year and a half ago and I bought a subscription to your French course almost a year ago, and it's helped me a lot to improve my French. I haven't finished all the sections, just up to lesson 38, but it's helped me enormously! I think that without this course, I wouldn't have been able to learn French in a year and I would have had to follow a book for grammar. However, with your course, I had, at my disposal, all the exercises for grammar, the videos and audios to practice my listening skills with the transcriptions, tonnes of new words to learn and also lots of motivation from Alexa.

I moved through the first eight lessons rather quickly because prior to purchasing Alexa's course, two tests had placed me at A2 level. But I am really happy I started from the very beginning because watching Alexa's lip positions and hearing her clear voice and pronunciation not only reinforced my understanding of how to pronounce certain French sounds are produced and gave me confidence in my ability but, more importantly, actually corrected errors in my pronunciation. Because of this, as I progress with the course, I shall be hovering and revising these early lessons for a while in order to "unlearn" past engrained mistakes. I was amazed at how quickly I spotted my errors in pronunciation in just these first few lessons. Could I just say that this is no small achievement when one considers that I am not a complete novice in learning French and that I am not new to hearing French spoken as my father often spoke French to me as a kid. In fact if such improvement in pronunciation is all I achieved from using this course, I would still feel completely happy with my purchase.

B1 Conversation Club: This was a great opportunity to focus on listening and speaking. When you try to do this informally, people often switch to English, but struggling is an important part of learning. I started out uncomfortable, but by the end I felt more confident speaking and understanding enough to ask questions.
