Talk with Jay Harman was the highlight for me from this year's Biomimicry Confluence. Fusion Bionic's concept of engineering nano-structured patterns in surfaces for various functional purposes and inspired by shark skins, butterfly wings, etc. was a new learning for me this year.

I have learned that lifelong learning, commitment, passion, stamina, focus, and teamwork are essential for turning dreams into reality. I have also realized that biomimicry projects are complex and require collaboration across diverse fields and perspectives.

The Biomimicry Confluence was a thrilling experience to me. The presentations were very interesting, each by a passionate person. I had that feeling that all that I listened to had a strong purpose, and they shared that with us, their drive. That made their presentations special. They spoke from the heart. I especially liked Jay Harman's presentation, as he talked about the foundation of everything and creativity and peace of mind. The ultimate inventor. I liked the confluence in general, the people, the conversations, the incredible depth of knowledge and passion each shared. It was very inspirational and I cherished each moment of being there. Thank you so much to Jess, Ali and Rebecca for creating such a wonderful conference.
