This has been a great way for our family of 6 to stay on the same page. An old monitor on top of the kitchen fridge, connected with an old Amazon firestick no one was using, has made a digital calendar a great way to connect. Even my oldest, off at college, has a page on it where he leaves notes for the family. We've never been this connected before! Mango Display is helping our family in big ways! Thank you!

This is exactly what I needed. When going through cancer care in another town we needed an easy way to display all our appointments so that we all could see them. It worked great and had the added benefit that we were able to put our loved one’s pictures on there as we we’re far away and missed them.

How did we live life before the Mango app?!?! As a family of 5 (2 full time working parents, 3 kids with ALL THE ACTIVITIES)- this app has been a life saver! On normal days, we'll have the monthly calendar, the detailed week calendar, weather and time up on the screen. On special days (like the picture in this review) I can pretty quickly change it up to feature photos, messages, fun GIFs, etc. for birthdays, special holidays, etc. It's especially awesome on a Fire TV because we can play Spotify in the background and have this display up at all times. The only slight down side is I haven't figured out how to have different displays I can toggle on the same Fire TV. I wish we could have a couple different ones- i.e. have 1 display with the calendars and all the happenings that switches with a screen with chores, reminders, etc. throughout the day (almost like a continuous slideshow between the different screen displays). Otherwise, I'm SOOOOO happy with this app!!!

This has been such a useful tool for our family to display our family calendar on our existing TV. We've gotten a lot of compliments and people asking what our set up is. This is a lot more affordable than buying a device specifically for a family command center (and let's face it, eventually that device will become much less useful much sooner than using an existing tv in your house). It doesn't have so many bells and whistles but if all you're looking for is a way to display a shared calendar, this works perfectly! We use our fire stick and set it on a timer to turn it on and off.

I put a fire TV in my 80 year old mother's breakfast room so that we could run Mango. She loves it! As medicine and schedules change, we update Mango and she knows what's up. No more arriving (way) too early or missing that important Rx, just a little peace of mind for us and independence for her.

Was looking for a way to display a digital calendar in our kitchen for our family that was easy to use and found Mango. There is a learning curve to understand the set up, once I figure it out after a couple of videos it was so easy to use and super fun! I bought a cheap fire tv from Amazon and was able to quickly set it up exactly like I wanted. All of the calendar updates have synced almost immediately, as well as any changes I’ve made to the layout. LOVE IT so far!

Fast and easy way to create a display with a Firestick

This app was the most elegant way that I've found to allow any TV to be turned into a high quality display. Pairing to the mango display environment was extremely easy, and once I had the hang of how the web interface worked, it was very intuitive to add widgets to create my home display. The developer (and CEO) was extremely responsive when I had questions, and seems to be actively working to further develop and expand the environment. Overall, I'm a very happy subscriber.

Family Calendar Management, part two. For those that are interested. Big obstacle we had was how to digitally display the calendar for all to see in the house. For now we have a set up with Mango Display that we stream via their app on a TV we mounted (picture below). We're still tinkering with the look and format, but are very happy with the results so far! From a calendaring standpoint we're betting utilizing our iOS calendar, color coding, and when needed sending the invite to our work calendars to help us keep track of what's happening. The Mango Display program was very easy and has more features and layouts to tinker with. Hope this could be a solution for your family calendar management needs! Costs: TV Mount - $10 Amazon Fire TV Stick (needed for Mango Display app) - $30 Mango Display Yearly Subscription - $30 Total - $70 - $30 annually going forward Well worth the price to help keep our family organized and lower the stress for Mom and Dad!
