The weekly calls with Zahra and the group help build self-esteem and confidence, and it’s a good opportunity to share experiences and get advice in real time. This is a good course for people struggle with vulnerability. It will help address these fears and help you develop a mindset that embraces love and connection. Being in a group setting provide a sense of community and support. Sharing experiences with others validates my feelings and makes the journey to find love more hopeful.

Drop the Love Struggle taught me how to connect visualizations and positive emotions to my practice of having a good expectation of God. I immediately felt a shift and noticed how people respond to me in a much more open and positive way, when I feel hopeful and positive. I was finally able to break through the mental block I had about visualizing my future spouse, and my overall mood has improved, alḥamdulillāh. I didn't realize I needed someone to give me permission to feel hopeful! I used to be so obsessed with the idea of "tying my camel" to the point of forcing myself to get into activities that I didn't even like doing. I felt like if I exhausted all options things would move forward. I was getting tired of attracting people I didn't even like the slightest when I was the one to blame for for getting myself into these activities to begin with! The journey of my duah is just as important as what I want to get out of it. I am ready let Allah take care of the parts I don't want to take care of.

The program helped so much in very simple ways. In short, I was reminded of who and what I am, which is loved by Allah. If I am loved by Allah, I am worthy of love from any and everyone that I want to get it from. As a result, I felt affirmed by the standards that I've learned to set for myself and have given myself permission to cast a much more narrow net in a specific area of water instead of fishing in the seven seas for a mate. When Zahra said, "It's okay to have a few choices, you only need to find your one person," it echoed something that I learned to tell myself over the past year and it reinvigorated me. My biggest takeway is to remember that while I am worth waiting for and to have patience and discernment, that Allah could just as easily make my dream partner appear unexpectedly and to be open to the miracle. The program was really amazing! It really gave me a whole new way of thinking. It’s amazing the amount of work that has gone to put these questions together, its well thought out, all in one and effective. We often have questions in mind to ask the other but don’t quite know how to frame it or better still forget. As a result, I felt affirmed by the standards that I've learned to set for myself and have given myself permission to cast a much more narrow net in a specific area of water instead of fishing in the seven seas for a mate. When Zahra said, "It's okay to have a few choices, you only need to find your one person," it echoed something that I learned to tell myself over the past year and it reinvigorated me. My biggest takeway is to remember that while I am worth waiting for and to have patience and discernment, that Allah could just as easily make my dream partner appear unexpectedly and to be open to the miracle. I recommend this to everyone else like me who has gotten caught up in the cycle of online letdowns, busted rishta auntie recommendations, and the ones who got away to remember that love is written for all of us.

The program was really amazing! It really gave me a whole new way of thinking. I been stuck in the mindset of back of forth maybe marriage isn’t meant for me but now I plan to be committed that marriage is for me and Allah wants me to happy. My first reaction: "OH MY GAWD! THIS IS EXACTLYYY WHAT I NEEDED!! SHE'S SEEING RIGHT INTO ME!!!" I mean, honestly, thorough it all I kept feeling you were talking to me and me alone. I had been putting limitations to my own self without even realising so. I had been making dream duas regarding my life partner, doing istekhara, telling myself "Allah swt will not let any harm come my way inshaAllah" and yet I'd look at the men and realize "there are no good men out there". Perhaps I need to find someone abroad with a mindset matching mine. I'd bring myself up and then I'd be told that I have unrealistic expectations. I'd try to stay strong through this but eventually when so many proposals would go downhill, I'd wonder perhaps I really am a little unrealistic. There's no such man out there. I hadn't realized that I had, actually, been constantly digging out that seedling time and again to check if it's grown yet thus hampering it's growth! I've watched Drop The Love Struggle a few times now and every time I watch it I learn something new! There is so much depth in the program and I still get tears watching it when I realize I have something else I need to process. I think getting your partner involved (and hopefully he/she is also engaged in the process) will show you if 1) that person is serious 2) you are logically looking at the situation and not just looking through “rose-colored glasses.”

This book was pretty eye opening and helpful as someone who is looking to get married. Having the various topics of questions to ask is really helpful when you are really trying to set your priorities and non negotiables. I wish this book was sold in stores and more people had the opportunity to really think about these topics before getting married.

This books hits all the key areas I need to focus on with a potential partner. I'm happy it touches on areas I am especially concerned about like mental health. It’s amazing the amount of work that has gone to put these questions together, its well thought out, all in one and effective. We often have questions in mind to ask the other but don’t quite know how to frame it or better still forget. Using the questions guided me to understand and find out what the other person’s intention and perspective was and there you can see if both of you are truly aligned.
