I have only been in the program for 2 weeks and I have already learned so many things and have improved. So happy I signed up

This was a dream come true for me, always wanting to go to art school from the time I was in high school, many moons ago! 🤣 I had learned basic painting and drawing abilities on my own, but after taking the Mastery Program my skills have far exceeded what I ever dreamed! Milan Art’s methods, inspiration and vision of artist changing the world and giving us the tools to do so instead of accepting the starving artist restrictions was earth shattering! I will never be the same and feel like I have been launched into a new season of my destiny as an artist. I can’t thank you enough!!

This whole experience has been life altering for me. I am a 71 yr old who has only painted for 18 yrs in oil impression. Right now, I am quite far behind schedule, just starting Part 2 of 4 Parts after almost a full year. I am also a sole care-giver for a loved one with PD dementia. That takes up most of my day. However, the hours I do get into my studio are essential to my mental well-being, as well as boosting my morale, and empowering me as an artist. I prayed that God would give me a sign to let me know if I should spend the money on the Mastery Program offered by Milan Institute. One day, while searching through my files for something, I literally came across a 6 month old check from a bank for an overpayment on a credit card for the exact amount I needed for the Mastery Program. It was beyond anything I could have expected, but a very clear answer from God that I should take the course. For an Impressionistic landscape painter to learn so many new skills, methods, and techniques from such a spirited group of young coaches, this has given me a whole new approach to my work. While I may not be able to make a full-time living selling my art once I graduate, like some of the younger students, I know I will have experienced much that I never learned in other lessons, books, and a multitude of workshops over the years. These classes are very detailed and informative, with critiques and affirmative input from coaches every single day. By the time I have completed the Program, I know I will have added portraits and abstracted realism to my repertoire. These new skills and new friends will give me much more to offer the World as an artist in this exciting era in art.

So much thought has gone into the whole process of becoming/being an artist. From the mindset and assumptions that may be holding you back to positive actions to master your materials, explore techniques, work your process and know your voice. There is all the business information too. Invaluable! The course seems to attract kind and caring people all rooting and helping each other and it’s great watching others grow and develop into amazing artists before your very eyes. As well as seeing how far you can get too in a relatively short amount of time. It’s a great and unique experience that I hope to be a part of for a long time to come.

I joined the Mastery Program after 10 years of being a professional artist. I had been self-taught, using information from YouTube artists and my own experiences and connections locally. However, I knew there were things I didn't know that I didn't know ;) Right from the beginning, this program has been incredibly useful. My art now has a foundation of skill and I am much more confident in the materials I use. I have moved away from using only one of my own photo references for my paintings and instead create references using a digital collage of my photos, and even then I go "off script". I receive generous and positive feedback for my work, especially in my use of colour. The Mastery Program has helped me see colour in a different way to bring my artwork to life. The teaching is thorough, well documented, and enjoyable. I am very grateful for this experience and for all that the Milan family and their staff continue to provide.

The Milan Art Mastery Program taught me how to paint with oils in a way that I had never known before. This has added depth and dimension to my paintings. By introducing me to a wide range of mediums they helped me discover the style in which I like to paint. It’s uncanny and synchronistic how Eli will randomly address whatever is getting in the way of believing in yourself and your art. It’s as if she’s in your head.

The Milan Mastery program gave me lots of new knowledge in many different techniques and with several materials. Combining mixed media with oil paint is something I'm fascinated by and like. I feel like I can paint whatever I want now.

The support and information and the people of Milan institute are amazing and authentic. Everyone from Eli, Dimitra, and Jake to the mentors and coaches truly care about the members of the community and students and truly give freely of themselves because they want everyone to succeed. If I had any critique it would be I wish the information was a bit more thorough even if the video segments are longer. Specifically, on color mixing. What types of colors mix to make what other colors. There are tricks like mixing yellow and black makes green. Not something most people would know coming from a basic grade school level of color theory. Or more focus on voice and style. Examples of how to mix different styles and elements to get a different look. These things are just being nit picky though. I could not be more grateful for having found Milan art institute.

Very friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful! The lessons were excellent with the content being very useful and delivered with great enthusiasm, expertise, confidence and a positive attitude! Even though I was extremely stressed and heavily involved with helping a family member, who was quite unwell and who has since passed away, the people of Milan Art Institute were always very understanding and empathetic! Milan Art Institute Mastery Program changed my professional life & my personal life. Before taking the classes I was very amateur, even in my thinking about my art. I was skeptical about an online unaccredited institution, but I honestly learned so much more in one week at the Milan Art Institute than I did after an entire semester at Fresno State University. There’s a lot to be said about the quality of a for-profit organization full of passionate, successful artists over a government-subsidized organization full of worn out, tenured professors (usually disillusioned artists) who are just there to collect a paycheck. I’ve paid for Kirsty Partridge’s Art Academy, many Udemy courses, in-person workshops, art technique books, etc., but nothing even remotely compares to the first month of classes here. Seriously, you won’t regret it.

I just got back from a 12 day retreat - painting with the Milans in Italy. This is an extraordinarily talented - and kind - family. Elli Milan is my mentor and she is also a wonderful teacher. I am also in the Mastery program moving from a few months working in oils to the next part of the program which is all about mixed media! I’m very excited. I feel that I am supported in the program and that my skills and creativity are continually expanded upon as well.

I have learnt so much ♡ I'm still in part 1 after a year, due to life..but I'm now so busy with Art now I'm going full time at Christmas ♡ How amazing! I wanted to brush up on my skills after being out of the art business for 20+ years. This was a fantastic experience. They covered the details of techniques procedures. They encouraged creativity. They encouraged you to jump off the cliff on your own and realize that you really can fly. It’s fantastic experience. I encourage anybody who wants to develop their artistic skills and creativity to sign up and go for it. Make sure you attend the coaching because that’s invaluable. The only thing I wish is that there was more available coaching times during sections three and four, but that’s when you’re learning to be on your own anyway so it wasn’t that bad. That’s the only constructive criticism that I have. I’m getting all my bits and pieces in line so I can apply for graduation hopefully by the end of this month! I’m so excited and I’m so glad that I attended the Milan Art Institute. Fantastic experience and I highly recommend it.

I have done 4 retreats with Milan Art. They are in different locations and with a combination of their coaches and founders. It’s been consistently enriching for an artist looking to connect with other artists and sharing learnings and experiences. I did not have friends that shared the same interest in painting and creativity and I found amazing lifelong friends through the Milan’s retreats.

I have been painting for about six months, and when this class appeared on my Facebook timeline, I really debated whether or not to purchase it because I had no experience painting flowers but I liked the idea so I purchased it watched it and was lost, but I trusted the process. I purchased this abstract floral class about a month ago and now going through it. I have a greater understanding. This class was so good. It opened my mind up two huge possibilities. There was so much information especially for a beginner, but I did it. I will upload more once I do more. I’m just starting on my journey. As an artist and I’m understanding concepts a lot better because of the class. I can see where I need to improve, but it did a lot better than what I thought I could ever do. Thank you!!!!

One of my goals for 2025 was to create a painting that would sell for over $1000. It felt like a huge goal and was hard to imagine it manifesting. Well, it happened in December 2025 at a holiday vendor market. I sold this 4’ x 5’ painting for $1500!! I loved seeing how the collector connected with it. I had stars in my eyes and overflowing gratitude. Two to three years ago I had never shared my art publicly. After taking the Mastery Program, I have had multiple exhibitions, participated in a number of vendor events and have sold over 65 originals as well as numerous prints! If art is your passion and you take the Mastery Program, YOU can do this too!! I cannot say enough good things about the program. It elevated my skills from the very first lesson.💜

1. Improvement: I have a better understanding of color theory, the use of some tools, oil mediums, and solvents. It is making me find workarounds in using technology, as I have limited knowledge of the platforms and apps (not sure if this is a good thing). I can see myself thinking ahead in my art-making process, considering which colors go where. I can look at a completed artwork and identify how to improve the piece. Practicing with the right brain has brought clarity to my ability to see nuances in a subject. 2. The joy is in doing the right brain exercises daily; I love free writing as well. The tutors' videos, allowing me to play through first and transcribe, were helpful to my learning style (the left brain quiets down when painting). When painting or drawing, I could also pause and rewind to observe paint mixes on the tutor's palette and brushstrokes and laying on of paint. This all made it exciting and joyful and frustrating all at same time like eating a fruit tingle for me. 3. I would highly recommend this course to any level of student . I believe we can always learn with art. The course is designed to allow the participant to work at their own pace and is doable in the time frame set . Last night, I cried in the middle of a Chinese buffet 😂 Long story short, I was in a car accident right before Christmas that has somewhat flipped my life upside down. No broken bones but some new neurological issues that I am trying to recover from. I was flooded with drive, determination and healing while painting “Owen.” Painting has been my saving grace throughout my (slow moving) healing process. It has allowed me to feel like “myself” again and I am so vey THANKFUL for that 🎨 I got him done just a couple hours prior to our local Art After Dark art show. I walked in to the art show and immediately had what I have been experiencing neurologically happen to me. I took a few minutes to recover and decided to try to stick around as long as I could. I spoke to a woman about “Owen” for a few minutes and got her contact info because she talked about wanting a bigger painting for her home and I left shorty after. I got a call while eating dinner from the art show organizer (a friend of mine) that someone wanted to buy my owl…and they did. It was the woman I spoke to while I was at the show. CUE THE TEARS. At first, I was actually sad to see him go because I had such an emotional attachment to him but I was so happy she was the buyer. I messaged her and thanked her for buying him and gave her a little back story of why he was so important to me. She said she loved that he had a story and she and her family will cherish him forever, I have watched HOURS of Milan Art videos, tune in to Mentor Mondays, read the newsletters and have learned SO MUCH. I have been saving for the Mastery Program but my accident’s medical bills and my inability to work full time right now have put me at a standstill. I save the money from my paintings to go towards the program so…guess I better get behind the canvas even more huh?! 😊 I WILL sign up this year,I am a woman on a mission! I started working one-on-one with Ritika when I had just seven months left in my two-year access to the coaching calls because I knew I needed help if I was going to complete the program on time. With Ritika's support, I was able to figure out my process, start and complete my portfolio, and gain clarity on my archetype. Ritika was just the motivator I needed. She gave me confidence, encouraged me to strive for excellence, and helped me reach my goal of completing the program and applying for graduation by February 2026. I loved having Ritika as my mentor and highly recommend one-on-one mentorship for accountability, personal support, and motivation!

I just completed my 3rd and largest piece yet for a three part abstract series! None of these were actual assignments from the course but I felt motivated and inspired by the course to find my voice and I feel this is a start. I have named the paintings “Lost”, “Found”, and “Forgiven” i don’t have a name for the series yet. “Lost” was actually done while attending one of Milan Art Institute”’s online free courses on painting abstracts. It was what sparked my interest to enroll in the classes. I am very proud of the out come of these three pieces. I deliberately made them different sizes as I wanted them to grow in importance. I am truly grateful to Milan Art Institute for encouraging artists to pursue their dreams to be professional artists. I have had two of these pieces displayed at a coffee shop and would love to see them in a gallery or on a collectors wall someday. They are all for sale either together or separately. Completing my Mastery program of Arts… Completing my Mastery program of Arts at the Milan Art Institute was a truly transformative and empowering milestone in my artistic journey. As an internationally exhibiting artist and fine art educator, I approached the program with experience, yet I left with deeper clarity, stronger structure, and renewed creative fire. I joined Milan Art Institute last month and started on January 17, 2026. Prior to joining, I had taken a several Milan Master classes in 2025 and created about 15 -20 paintings over the course of the year. Although I wasn’t a Mastery Program student quite yet at the time I made these paintings, I had taken several Master Classes which got me started with the basics and proper painting techniques which gave me confidence to sell my paintings at art fairs. My paintings are of dragons, so I signed up for fairs in 2026 that support a similar theme. My very first fair was Mythicon in Gettysburg Pa last weekend, and I am happy to share that it was a success! Not only did I sell my first original painting of one of my dragons, but I sold numerous prints of my other dragon paintings. Now that I am a student of the Mastery Program, I am excited to continue to grow my knowledge, confidence and skills so that I can finally pursue my dream of becoming a full-time professional artist. How exciting it is to have my art hang on my first collector’s wall! This sale not only tells me that I am on my right path, but also helps pay for the Mastery Program, lol.

Hi I'm Louise, I loved drawing at school, did 1 painting whenI was 15 which i thought was rubbish, teacher liked it. Im 54 and now not able to work , ill health, so fancied painting, my first 5 were pet dogs, 2 grand kids, then trees, water yhen acrylics , then both, 9th painting below with decent acrylics after your short course, oils are coming next, dont want to ruin it, but im ecstatic! I can do something!!! Thank you! 💚

I have taken several of your classes….and At 84 I am loving drawing and painting…..my dear husband is my #1 cheerleader……on this painting he suggested the sun rays, and I love them.

I knew absolutely nothing about oil painting before I took this course. I find myself explaining to the employees at the local art supply store what all of the materials are and how and when to use them! Oil paints no longer intimidate me! I love them now. I can set up my palette that I made myself out of a glass shelf. I know how to clean it. How to clean my brushes. I could go on and on. I can honestly say that makes me feel like an artist. Regardless of what I paint. Understanding cools, warms, opaque, transparent, complimentary color. It really is something that everyone needs to know. Big thanks for all the help making me feel like I'm capable to build on the basics. I'm ready for the next step.

Earlier this week I made the decision to invest in myself and my dream of being a professional artist, and enrolled in the Mastery Program. That SAME DAY someone I'd met at a holiday art market reached out to me on Instagram to purchase an original watercolor painting she saw online! Hi! I have really learned a lot about following through on what you begin. The instructors were very encouraging to their students about this idea. It’s not necessarily the end product but the process that gives you the most information and insight about yourself and what your goals might be in the program. This is going to be a segway for me as I travel on to the Mastery Program. I think this is an extremely valuable and exciting opportunity for any person who wants to enhance their starting point as an artist or basically at any level you are at. You will be involved with a superior art program with authentically gifted artists. The Milan School is not only a superior disciplined academically based art academy but also enhances and encourages your ability to discern philosophical ideals whether in the artistic realm or the real world. The programs are well rounded and structured. You start with basic art concepts like drawing and shading shapes, understanding the color wheel, warm and cool colors with exercises pertaining to these ideas. Then you build on your understanding by combining and accessing your interpretations as you complete a painting with these concepts. You always have the ability to review any part of the lesson where you might need more understanding. All of the videos I’ve viewed were professional and easy to follow. I recommend the Milan Art Academy Program as an excellent opportunity and stepping stone to greatness in becoming an artist that will be immersed emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually in the school’s philosophy. You will thoroughly enjoy yourself.

Hello, and Merry Christmas. I am celebrating today with my latest painting, which I think is my best so far in oils. I signed up for the Mastery Portrait class and it really blew me away. It helped me to see a completely different way to paint using Cool colors and warm colors. I am super excited to continue with Milan Art courses in the near future. I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to improve their art. I am attaching a picture of my 18 x 24 oil. In one of our Mayan languages it is called "Ranm Ixoqi" or "heart of woman" Thank you again!

I haven't even started the Mastery program yet and I have already sold four my paintings this year - I have only watched the videos from Milan art institute on YouTube and social media and it helped me a lot! Even though my painting didn’t turn out the way I wanted. I’m still going to count this as a win. The major win is I created the background and then I uploaded it to Canva and created my very First source. I couldn’t understand the benefits of having a source and now I do. A thoroughly enjoyed that part of it. I did struggle with proportions and blocking in which kind of threw off the whole painting. And I’m not sure how to fix it. This was my first attempt after taking the abstract florals course. I also did learn mistakes that I made and creating my source, so this was a huge mile stone in my painting journey. I can’t wait to try the next one and see how progressed from all that I learned the first picture is the source that I created. The second picture is my painting. Love always, Savana.

I highly recommend this program! I've found the thing that I was missing. I found confidence in oil painting and I'm not afraid of it anymore. I'm also happy that the materials were not harmful. The teaching style is great and I'm also allowed to mess up and correct my mistakes.

I was notified that “First Light of the Promise” will be awarded and will be included in the St John's Church, Florence 2025 Advent Art Competition on campus from November 30, 2025 through January 6, 2026. This painting was born from a night of deep reflection after a funeral, where I witnessed a family’s unwavering faith in the face of loss. The central figure, arms lifted toward descending light, embodies surrender, longing, and spiritual connection. Swathed in shadow and radiance, the composition evokes the tension between grief and hope, absence and presence. Though rooted in mourning, the piece speaks to the heart of Advent—a season of waiting and trusting in light not yet fully seen. The swirling hues of violet and gold echo the liturgical palette, while the upward reach reflects the soul’s yearning for Emmanuel, “God with us.” It is not a depiction of arrival, but of holy anticipation.

Yeeees I can draw, I can paint and the most beautiful thing through this process I learned to let go that need of control or garantie for every step ,Eli such a blessed teacher I went with her through very deep process with in myself I love that letting myself make mistakes doesn’t mean giving up the quality of what I do but it means to watch the video again and receive more detail s it was very beautiful journey that it’s almost the first thing I committed ti do proving to myself that I was not undisciplined but I didn’t have the wright teacher,even my children get inspired and they draw and painted with me For me those is a precious gift that I allowed myself and my children to express beauty and art because in my childhood it was not. This piece was juried into the 5x5x5 National Call at River Oaks Square Arts Center in Alexandria, LA.

It’s been nearly ten months since I completed the year-long Milan Art course—well, almost (just the final stretch to go!)—and I wanted to stop by and say thank you. Since then, I’ve sold three paintings from my Pink List series to the same collector, which still blows my mind. My Wisdom in Whimsy series has also been moving—four large works and a handful of smaller ones have found homes. One thing I’ve learned through this journey is that it’s the larger pieces that carry the impact—and they’re the ones selling. The smaller works just don’t land the same way, and that’s been a valuable insight. But what Milan gave me wasn’t just technique or fundamentals—it gave me the confidence to paint boldly, brightly, and joyfully. That was a turning point. Now each piece feels alive, and I genuinely smile while painting. That shift alone has been priceless. I don’t feel like I’ve reached my full potential yet—I still look to artists I admire and know I’ve got further to grow. But thanks to this course, I want to keep going. I was becoming depressed. Nothing this year seems right. I joined a local art club and have met the most lovely people. We had Valaween, a year end party for VALA. Our paintings were posted at the Cotton Mill in McKinney Tx, where they have a space to exhibit every month. So, I joined in. I found out at the party one of my paintings sold! I’m on my way home from a three-day workshop at the Milan Art Institute, and I’m still glowing from the experience. Everything the Milans do is so well organized and truly first-class. I had a wonderful time surrounded by inspiring, creative people. I would highly recommend the entire experience—it exceeded every expectation! I learned so much, and my confidence soared. I left feeling eager to try everything I’d discovered. I love their projects, lessons, videos, and podcasts—each one blends art and life in such a meaningful way. I’m so glad I signed up; it’s worth every penny and more. Next, I’m looking forward to applying everything I’ve learned—and doing it all again! There’s nothing quite like spending time with fellow artists who share the same passion.

The experience was incredible! The energy of everyone attending was amazing, and Ellie and Dafne were fantastic hosts. Watching the videos is one thing, but being there in person and participating live has been the best thing that’s happened to me in years! I recommend it 100%. In fact, I already paid to go back in February for my second workshop. I’m beyond excited and so grateful to everyone at Milan Art Institute!

Wow! This was my first time participating in a Milan Art in-person workshop and it was more than I could have imagined. Elli and Dafni were there the entire time, eager to answer any questions and offer ideas if wanted. The demonstrations were wonderful and I learned a number of new techniques and was able to try new products. I left the workshop educated, skillset up-leveled and inspired to create. I can hardly wait to take my next in-person workshop with Milan Art Institute!

In 2024, I joined the Mastery Program and hesitated to get a mentor at first because it was a little outside my budget — but in the end, I went for it. And I’m so glad I did! Ceci Wehncke helped me tremendously. She helped me let go of my fear of perfectionism and truly enjoy the process. She also guided me through techniques like “fat over lean,” and thanks to her advice, I created a painting that I absolutely loved. If anyone is considering getting mentorship and is on the fence, I highly recommend it!

Ceci Wehncke was my mentor for a year, and I truly enjoyed every moment of our collaboration. Her extensive knowledge and ability to keep me focused were invaluable. During our video calls and text exchanges, she provided insightful feedback, always demonstrating kindness and generosity with her time. Ceci was particularly instrumental in helping me navigate the challenges of part 2, Mixmedia. With no prior experience in this area, I initially felt overwhelmed. However, Ceci dedicated significant time to guide me through my insecurities and fears about exploring new techniques. The most significant breakthrough for me was learning how to blend various techniques into a single painting. I gained a deeper understanding of how to create depth and the importance of using a diverse palette of colors. I wholeheartedly recommend Ceci as a mentor!

Oh my gosh I learned so much! I was in a rut with my collages because I kept painting over them! Through my doing the wrong thing Elli taught me how to do it right! I’ll forever remember how to paint with collage and absolutely love it!! I’m having fun again!! Now I know what I was doing wrong with my projector! Bless you Elli! So excited about how quickly my charcoal drawing of Venice, created in the Milan Mastery Program, sold! Creating a perspective cityscape was challenging, and I didn't think it was something I could sell. Lo and behold, I reached out to two art lovers who had recently visited Italy, and in less than five minutes... I received the reply, "Sold!" I delivered it in person, and that same day, the collector went out and purchased a beautiful mat and display easel for it, then posted about it on Facebook.

I am certainly very impressed with everything I have learn in 2 months in the beginner course ! I was practising about 5 or 6 hours per day I never thought I could actually be good at drawing and painting !the course prove me wrong lol! I really did enjoy watching Dimitra and Eli painting , they are amazing ! The master program seem awesome but it is out of my league and way to expensive for me and I am looking for another online school ! It’s not gonna be the same but at least I will be able to continue my art path ! The only negative things I can say is the way they were advertising the course at 150$ and then said it was for 2 months ..,.,….?!!!?? That was misleading. They now say it’s 299$ and that’s how they should had it advertise from the start! That was a surprise that leave a sour taste in my mouth !

Hi, I really like this course, I think is a very good start to learning oil painting, I have learned a lot about the sustracción techniques and the layers transition. I liked the variety of exercises to draw and paint. I totally recommend this course for beginners

This year I was invited to join a prestigious Art Exhibition sponsored by the Lions Club, Domfront, Normandie, France. It’s been an honour to be included amongst 61 other artists (painters and sculptors). It’s a great experience to meet other talented artists and exchange ideas, techniques and experiences. Being in France, there are naturally more French artists than English-speaking ones. I’m Philippines-born British and my husband and I moved to Normandie a few years ago. The other artists are very supportive with each other and there’s a sense of inclusiveness. I feel blessed.

So happy to be chosen among around 50 artists from the whole country. Art is no longer confined within the walls of galleries – it now reaches wider audiences in the digital space, breaking down barriers of place, time, and resources, while connecting artists, audiences, and new opportunities in one place. 🎨🌐 👉 Art Board opens doors to greater visibility and networking, and in the near future it will also enable direct purchase of artworks. 👉 For me, this means much more than showcasing my work – it is a sense of belonging, inspiration, and collective growth. Yeah, I finally managed to get an abstract background & realistic tiger together that I finally think goes really well. All thanks to my short course & following Milan art! Bless you all, for not holding back on such useful & very helpful tips! My next painting:-

I signed up for the Mastery Program last year with one goal in mind: to improve my oil painting technique. However, I discovered so much more—many ways to create art, new techniques, fresh perspectives on color, and insights into running a business. I also found new friends who share the same goals and aspirations as I do. Every time I travel to a retreat or workshop with Milan's team, I return home filled with ideas and a sense of creative energy. This latest "Breakthrough" workshop was especially different because it was packed with valuable learnings, new experiences, and discoveries. My favorite moments include: - Acrylic painting and collage were unknown mediums to me just six months ago, but now, every time I paint with acrylics, I feel stronger as an artist and gain a deeper understanding of mixed media. - Watercolor painting was never my favorite technique, but at this workshop, I found new ways to approach it that helped me reevaluate and shift my own painting process moving forward. - The Graduation Party was an amazing experience as well. Although I wasn't graduating, I was there to cheer for my friend receiving their diploma, and that truly energized me. I realized that all I need to do is paint, paint, paint to complete my own portfolio. I can't wait to finish the Mastery Program and enter the art world bravely! The Mastery Program is truly changing my perspective on life. I look forward to seeing where this journey will take me. Many, many thanks to the Milan Art Institute!

The Beginner Art Program was wonderful! I do not have any formal education in art; only basic classes given at school. I love drawing and tried oil painting, acrylic and pastels but, I really needed some directions. That's what the Beginner Art Program gave me. It taught me how to draw and paint the correct way. I learned so much with each lesson. Elli and Dimitra Milan are excellent instructors. It was so easy to learn from them. They took the time to explain each lesson and techniques, how and why to use them. I really liked that both instructors had different styles. I was so nervous about how to stay safe using oil paints and solvents. This was throughly explained as well as how to clean brushes, mix paints, and see like an artist. If you're a beginner and know nothing about creating and even if you do have some knowledge, you will learn a lot from the Beginner Art Program. I took the program because I haven't painted in a very long time and I didn't feel ready for the Mastery Program but, now I'm ready to go! Thank You Ellie and Dimitra for a wonderful experience!

Recently, I received a commission to paint a tiger. Karolina ordered a painting from me that was to include colors such as fuchsia, orange-gold, sky blue, and emerald. The tiger was meant to face right — a direction that symbolizes the future. The abstract background came to life spontaneously. The moon in the background appeared in my imagination only at the very end, when everything else was already painted. It came to me during meditation. The moon — a symbol of the feminine, of intuition, of the unseen — beautifully harmonizes with the tiger, which represents masculinity and action.

I graduated in May 2025. During my training, I didn't sell a single painting, but I had been planning a solo exhibition for September. I was fortunate to host the show at my husband's venue, which provided ample space for my work. I displayed approximately 52 pieces that I created during and shortly after the Mastery Program in 2024 and 2025. For the opening, I organized a wine tasting, celebrating the fusion of wine and art, taste and beauty. About 60 people attended, and it turned out to be an incredible event. I received countless compliments and wonderful feedback. I sold 8 paintings during the opening and 4 more in the days that followed, along with two commissions. It’s truly amazing! I am so happy and grateful for this experience! I know that without the Mastery Program, I would never have had the confidence to pull off such a successful show. A heartfelt thank you to Milan Art!

|Ive just finished my commission of a portrait of Marylin. She's one of my favourite icons. Can't say it hasn't been challenging at times! But I'm really pleased and relieved in equal measure that my client likes it and SO happy to have had the opportunity produce a commissioned piece whilst still in Section 1 of the Mastery Program. Now I need to catch up with the lessons!

Moving from a really small studio at my parent's house to a professional studio, is truly a dream come true! And it serves my next goal which is working really BIG! Last week a started up my first really big portrait (about 51 x 78 inch) for which I now have the space. Thanks to the Mastery Program I have grown so much this last year, wow! I sometimes can not believe how much I learned in such a short amount of time. Very grateful and feel excited for what's to come 🥰!!

White on white. No black here. I think this may be the very first oil painting that I do not hate. They eyes appear too purple, but I was mixing all my cool colors to make a black, I can fix this later when it dries. But am seeing progression in part 1!

The image of my painting “Innocence is a virtue of your heart and it heals the land”, was Chosen by the Redhouse Gallery in Blackmountain, NC to be on their publicity material for an upcoming show called “Passion, Peace and Perseverance”. I am super happy and excited 😊 I graduated in July and will be at the in person graduation in a week in Sarasota 💃🎊

To have a personal mentor to finish the Master Program was much needed for me. Before The mentorship I had a hard time staying on track and keeping a weekly timeframe and schedule for painting. With the mentorship I felt obligated to do what I said to her and not disappoint My mentor/teacher. I had an easier time letting myself down. My mentor also had a keen eye for details and she taught me to see my art in a different way. This will always stay with me. All in all I would say having a mentor was like having a teacher/cheerleader and fellow artist on my side supporting me to reach my goal! And I did reach my goal - to graduate in time To be able to go to this year’s in-person graduation ceremony to Sarasota, FL! Thank you Asia!
