I just finished a painting of a portrait. I was so nervous to start it but, I made myself relax to help me think about what I needed to create for this portrait. The color worked out so well. I was so proud of the portrait. The Milan Art Institute helps so much. I really enjoy my lessons and I enjoy what I create with their help. I really like to paint since going through their MasterClass lessons. I get instructions from teachers who have great experience to teach the classes. The lessons are so much help! I am glad I enrolled here!!

So I took a couple days to listen and watch the video step by step. I didn't paint, just made lodes off notes. I am a little scared but will start as soon as I have a day on my own to start at the very beginning. Thank yoy for this great lesson. God bless Tercia

I am painting my first portret ever at this moment with this class. This class gives you so much useful information... i love it. Elli and Dimitra are amazing

I was so upset with this painting. I didn't understand what I was doing. My monster painting was goofey. I was almost in tears. I choose another painting after I reviewed the class one more time. I think I got it. I made a monster then letting it dry I stared on the face. After the face, I choose where I felt the different colors should go. I used darker and lighter paints on the face. Really thought deeply about this painting. Soon, I was finished. I looked at it and I was proud. I was so tired painting all that time..I took a whole day, I went slow, chose the colors, and as I painted I felt I am so proud. I had a breakthrough. I can paint now!

I love the course but as i never had my oils handy i choose to do it in acrylics , i will do the course over and over and do it in oils and hopefully improve. Wasmlots of fun

Really challenging as the desire to blend is overwhelming! But managed to restrain and I’m pleased with the results! Thank you!

Its an astonishing course. I have learned a lot, i am very gratefull for signing up. Lots of techniques, an amazing teacher.

Although I didn’t get a likeness , learning how to loosen up and use a new colour palette to achieve the brightness in the painting was well worth it. The tutorials also suited my learning preferences. Really enjoyed the class.

I have never enjoyed portraits because they were a struggle. I won an award in “Artist Magazine, so I have been painting mostly self taught. I am still amazed at how this easy relaxing way of painting can produce a well executed portrait!

Elli you are a fabulous teacher, I really enjoyed this course even though I struggled. I managed to loose my brush marks and didn’t quite hit the mark on likeness. I seem to be a slow learner, so will attempt this project again and hopefully have more of those brush marks. Thank you so much Elli.
