I’ve been a producer/remixer for over 30 years. This is one of the best online courses I’ve seen. Good stuff!

Great content, but I was disappointed that the tutorial videos were for customers that use Protools. My DAW is Logic Pro x and I found the videos hard to follow. I had to go and find YouTube videos to understand what you were doing in order for me to use your template. I now understand most of the content, but there are still parts of the tutorials I don’t understand because of the DAW being used and short cuts used that are not the same in my DAW. Like I said great content, and I learnt a fair bit, but it would be nice to have your tutorials using Logic Pro x. Please let me know if you are going to release in my format, that would make me very happy. I also purchased the Mastering tutorials and found the same thing. Thanks Dave.

As with the mastering course this is informative, but would be nice to see some of this being demonstrated in Cubase

This course has something for everyone, regardless of the level! Priceless knowledge with an intuitive approach to developing an improved workflow.

Haven't had the time to use it yet, but based on my experience with the Accelerator and Deep Dive mix/master courses, I believe that this Mixing Expansion Pack is also top notch. Streaky courses are some of the best few around. Hands-on, easy to follow, and well explained. They were my secret weapon during my sound engineering degree!

This course is fantastic to give you a good grounding in mixing. Easy to understand, and pitched at the right level for those already familiar with basics. My only very minor gripe was the varied narration volume level from video to video - would have thought this would be perfect bearing in mind who produced them 🤣

I bought this course believing it was focused on Logic Pto X, I just started on it and so far it’s Pro Tools. Hopefully Logic Pro is also taught.. Hopefully

I’ve done a fair bit of mixing and already, and know many of the techniques demonstrated, but still learnt a few things. This course is also a great reminder of things you may have forgotten to pay attention to. I would say an absolute no-brainer for beginners to watch this. Nicely done, too. Thanks.

I got into this purely out of curiosity. It’s a great starting point for everyone who wants to learn about mixing, preparing the session and work around the basic tools needed for professional mixing session. It’s also great for professionals as it’s nice to see perhaps a different approach to a session. Easy to follow and easy to understand. Even for those with short attention span. Great job. For my surprise this course wasn't only a great guide through Logic Pro X but also a awesome Music Production foundation course.The way he showed and explained the details in each section was easy to digest and assimilate, giving me quick and perceptible results in my music straight away.I also got the Mixing Accelerator System as well as the Mastering Acceleration course and I can't wait to dive into it.

It's Adam here again, I asked you whether the Mixing and Mastering mini-courses you created, offered anything different and so I got them, and 'yes, they did'... In the mixing course, I knew of many of the techniques you taught, but what I failed at was the 'Understanding' of WHY they were used and indeed ALL their uses, this was very eye-opening for me.Also, you've been one of the first teachers that actually explained there is a difference between those old analogue meters that Waves, Klanghelm, PSP etc have brought out and there is a discrepency between them that left me quite confused, you explained this also (so now I have a fuller understanding of their use).The Mastering Mini-Course was more mind-blowing for me, as I put just about every plugin except the kitchen sink on the final mastering bus (at the end of my mixing chain mind you, and bounce it out and call it a day, track mastered... Well not really mastered LOL).Thanks for offering to give me a refund on them if I didn't learn anything, but in all honesty, there's no way I'm asking you for a refund, as I've just learnt so much from your mindset ... 'Keep Things Simple & Don't Overthink It!'.When I can get a chance I will look at your main in-depth mastering program, which you have a discount on at the end of the Mastering Mini-Course at streakyacademy.com/minicoursespecial but this link goes to a dead link (not sure if you knew or not about this).Would also love to see a full mixing program from you, focusing around 'YOUR' mindset and how you do things, you simplify things from your extensive experience, which quite frankly I haven't seen any of the other top engineers give as much as you do on mindset, they teach their shortcuts and tips n tricks, but fail to explain the process behind their thinking, probably because they're so familiar with their own process, but we as learners aren't so like Monkey's do the tips and tricks, the track sounds great, but we don't know why, so don't progress as engineers.Thanks for being different!

I really enjoyed the Logic bootcamp course for 3 reasons, 1. the learning was very simple, I liked that the videos were no longer than 5 or 10 minutes each, although still very in depth. 2. The layout and structure is perfect and well balanced. I also liked that you can go back and watch any section over and over and it will always be at hand3. The content is gold - I actually do think that whatever level of experience in logic you will learn something new with this course. It has massively helped my mixing, sound and workflow. I particularly liked the template which I am using and also the track breakdown which also has helped with mixing tips. I have just signed up to the mixing accelerator course! Thank you Streaky

I very much enjoyed the mini course. It was very well priced. I like the mix template. A seemingly simple thing but I'd never used one before. I purchased the AB plugin which continues to be a value add to my work flow (it helps develop your ear). Other than that I used plugins I already owned. Another really great take away was learning plugins I use more in-depth. For me that was Cubase Frequency 2 eq and the Elysia Alpha compressor. Reading the manual and learning the compressor properly is also helping to develop my ear. I can now hear the tilt eq, side chain and know when I want to use mid/side what the plugin in is doing. Again, this seems like a simple thing but I'd not have done this if it wasn't for the course. I understand 'Frequencies' dynamic and mid/side capabilities and can solo the band to hear the Q which is also developing my ear. Using the RMS meters in the template has also helped me get a consistent Level when mastering. I plan to take the more in-depth course when I have more time available (that too is well price). To work with a mentor who is working professionally is a super fantastic opportunity. Highly recommend and all the best.

I'm a pro/top rated seller on Fiverr and also a recognised artist in hard dance music. I have a good knowledge of mixing already, but always seeking to improve. This was worth every penny. I've picked up some great new tips, and as a result have improved my mixing template, which I'm really excited to start using.

This course really helped me to get a sense of how I should be structuring my own sessions for more control over all the elements, in addition to learning the framework for that control in a mix session. Really easy to watch and take in what is being presented.

Its so much to learn, easy to follow, and if something not clear (using a different DAW or anything else), just an email from an answer away. That's so awesome!If I should suggest something I personally would miss, that's just the stems to the example and maybe you can put a list of you're favorite plugins in the course? Or better as the course is shown in ProTools maybe the best stock plugins from the other DAW`s? For me personally this would be the tip of the iceberg!Great job, absolutely! This course in particular taught me a new way to approach mixing which opened my eyes. Fantastic course. It has been brilliant to learn and my mixes are already sounding much better. I love the surgical precision. Brilliant.

Now some way into the course. I've learnt that I need Pro-Tools, and will purchase it, as I really like its architecture. Currently using Live 10 Suite, so Streaky's template for this was a bonus. However, I totally get Streaky's insistence on building a template in Pro-Tools. My only concern is that it's gonna be expensive and I may find myself with even more plug-ins. However, the next section looks really interesting and I can't wait to hear what Streaky has to say about the plug-ins used in the mixing stage.

Having watched a number of Streaky's video's on YT I wasnt sure exactly what to expect from this Mixing Accelerator System course, though I had high hopes.What a great introduction and overall approach to mixing! I did have some grasp of the mixing before starting however everything I knew was self taught to some degree. The logical way this is deliverd has given me a better understanding of the process and will help me immensely. I particularly enjoyed having access to the source stems allowing me to get them into the DAW and experiment alongside the course.Thank you Streaky!

Seriously, some of this just makes such common sense and yet, I never figured it out on my own. The lessons on compressors alone were worth the cost.While I never have as many tracks as the demos, I think my mixing time will be cut in 1/2

Fantastic course! Very concise, informative and practical. Loved every part of the class.

Most of it was great. I learned a lot so thank you. As the videos got to mixing from start to finish and later, it seems you decided not to edit the videos anymore and were repeating yourself (for mistakes)...Just a dip off in an otherwise high quality series that made me feel that you stopped caring. You also used so many quite expensive plugins which was sort of depressing, but I did buy 2 of the Fabfilter (C2 and Q3) and found relatively similar other ones for the rest (Using Cubase here). Last thing was you stopped explaining things thoroughly when it got to the real critical stuff at the end. (VU, LUFS and other loudness related things and didn include what to shoot for at the end of the mixing stage before mastering. Other than the template layout, these things were on my list of most important and they were sort of grazed over.

This is far me in-depth than I thought it would be, based on other courses I have purchased from other knowledge libraries in the past. I know maybe 40-50% of what was taught already. However, the real value is learning a correct & methodical process from a professional mix engineer(s). This course does exactly what is advertised: helps you get a coherent mix across a single piece of music, instead of ending up with something that sounds like individual layers on top of one other (which is what I have been struggling with!).I would recommend this to anyone, with any level of music production & mix engineer knowledge base. I am really happy with my purchase.

Incredible course I'm so happy to learn from an engineer like you. Your approach to mixing is very minimalistic, purposeful and effective. One thing I wish I learned more of is timing correction, clean up and initial processing for vocals maybe in hip hop/rap genre.

Valuable and Concise Instruction! It would be great to see mixing done in both Ableton and Logic rather than just ProTools.... There seems to be no VCA option for Ableton.The explanation of VU metering was great...

After working for a time in this business its not unusual to become comfortable with our habits, or to believe we know what we need to know.Fact is fresh air is always healthy, and new perspectives inspire us.Although i no longer use Pro Tools on a regular basis (i use Logic Pro X & LUNA) many of the proceedures are applicable.I found this course refreshing and picked up many small tips and reminders that not only add to my knowledge but reaffirm my own long held techniques. Streaky explains everything about setting up a session to mixing, concisely and clearly. A generous course that would probably cost thousands and take much more time at a recording school. My only suggestion would be to see this course with real instruments in a rock music setting.
