I found Nicklas YouTube channel just by chance, but the science and simplicity of it made me stay. Recently I bought his training plans (PSI, 5 km and 21 km), and read his newsletter on a daily basis. The concepts and the knowledge he provides is amazing and so simply to apply to your runs. Thanks!

My heart rate went down by following the specific advice to go slower and it has increased my pace for the same effort level. Although nothing extraordinary in the running community I did a sub 22min for a 5k which for me seamed nearly impossible (last year in April was 24:41). I recommend your content as it is straight to the point instead of the 30min videos out there sharing the same things over and over again while being science based.

Nickas, has been a great help with the daily videos and messages on how to improve my running. It was a great part of me preparing for my triathlon with simple tips. I’ve crushed my goals and I’m sure that I’ve taken out about 10 to 15/ seconds/km over the last 30 days.

Before I started running my motivation was at a low but then he taught me that I was not getting enough sleep. I have gotten my mile time from 9:20 to 6:50. I would absolutely recommend Nicklas because he has made so much change.

I used one of your free, personalized programmes and got the best training results to date (in terms of Garmin-measured VO2 max).  Hints from your video helped this father of 3 to deal with the inevitable setbacks and illness while still improving.  Feel free to use that as a testimonial.  Thank you very much!

From the very beginning, Nick was incredibly patient. He took the time to understand my running /history, my busy schedule, and my mindset. He never pushed me to do more than I was ready for, instead focusing on building a strong, consistent training plan that was flexible enough to adapt to life's inevitable curveballs. His calm and reassuring demeanor kept me from panicking when a workout didn't go as planned or I had to miss a day. What truly sets Nick apart is his flexibility. The plan was a living document, and he was always ready to adjust it based on how I was feeling or the specific challenges I was facing. He's not just a coach who gives you a program; he's a partner who guides you through the process, providing expert advice on everything from pacing and nutrition to the best shoes for the race. Thanks to Coach Nick, my half marathon time has improved significantly and I even did a brutal and hilly 30km. He is truly a good coach that you can rely on!

I recently completed a 12-week training program with Nicklas, and I couldn't be happier with the results. With his guidance, I achieved a new 15k personal record and am now on track to set a half marathon PR later this year. What truly sets Nicklas apart is his emphasis on consistency paired with a deep understanding of real-life demands. His training framework is both structured and flexible, allowing me to make steady progress while also making adjustments whenever life got in the way. Nicklas never made me feel guilty for needing to rearrange a session; instead, he helped me adapt my plan thoughtfully and effectively. Not only did I notice improvements in both my speed and endurance after just a few weeks, but I also learned to genuinely enjoy the process. The thoughtful approach Nicklas brings to coaching made every run purposeful, and seeing such amazing results so soon was incredibly motivating. I highly recommend Nicklas to anyone looking to improve their running while keeping the journey enjoyable and sustainable.

I started running for my health and instantly fell in love with it. I was overweight and didn’t know how to run, so I just ran however I could. My knees and ankles hurt, and the next day I felt like I’d been hit by a train. Then I started looking for information and found Nicklas’ YouTube videos. Then I subscribed to his lessons, which he sends by email. People can say whatever they want, but science is what really works. Science doesn’t make running “right,” it just explains how it works. All of Nicklas’ lessons are based on science, so whether you like him or not doesn’t change the truth behind it. (Personally, I really like his video style, text style and the way he explains things :) ). I started learning to run using Nicklas’ tips. The results speak for themselves. I’m attaching two photos— this is ONLY 1.5 months of progress at a similar running pace (today I can already run faster). P.S. After running I feel amazing, no pain at all. P.P.S. Before running I weighed 92 kg, now I’m down to 85 kg. P.P.P.S. Sometimes my daughter joins me on runs. That’s the greatest joy for me as a dad — even more than the crazy progress in running. THANK YOU, Nicklas!

I had reached a plateau where no matter how many training blocks I did, I couldn’t do a sub 20 minute 5k. Working with Nicklas added a lot of small fixes including strength training, monthly tests, and improving my form. Most importantly, I shifted from being a result oriented person to being focused on, and falling in love with the process. I carry this to other areas of my life. And this is why I would recommend Nicklas content to other runners. Because it doesn’t matter if you are amateur or professional, there is so much to apply to all areas of your life

Hey Nicklas, thanks for all the great advices. Every human being is a bit different and so must be the way to achieve the best. Your way of explaining helped me a lot. And… drum rolls… I finished sub3 in Berlin :-) for the first time in my young age of 51 years ;-) The video where you explained how to steal the technique of Jakob I. was one of my key lessons. Falling into the next step and almost striking behind my center of mass helped me so much to control my stride that for the first time I was able to run a negative split in a marathon.

Thank you for the course - lots of excellent advice and practical examples on how to improve my running. What worked well for me was advice on consistency - avoiding burn out and injury is a huge factor. I am a 53 year old runner and recovery is something I need to monitor carefully. The advice and videos on running drills were also great - that's handy to have a link to! Many thanks for putting this content together, lots of concepts to ponder!

I have watched your videos and read your emails for about 2 months now and I have seen great improvement so far. My form is way better and I feel better at the end of my runs. I also love your goal mindset of setting long term goals, and I have never thought of it that way before. I also could run 3 miles in 19:44 before follow your advice, and now I can run 3 miles in 19 minutes! You have helped me improve 44 seconds in only 1 month! I would definitely recommend your advice to others(I already have XD), it has really helped me!

Thanks to watching Nicklas videos I achieved my first sub3 marathon (Berlin) in my young age of 51 years :-) He explains especially how to fix the running form in such a brilliant way that a recreational runner can easily follow the instructions! I highly recommend his videos. They are short, precise and easy to follow!

Gostei bastante desse exemplo de controlar o tempo. Vou aplicar, sou iniciante e corro atualmente 5km em 34 min e quero ficar abaixo dos 30min. Tenho 45 anos.
