What I found most impactful however, was during the second workshop where we focused on hooking the prospect to secure the meeting. I participated in a SKO. I found the emailing and Cold calling workshops to be most valuable. Often times, when you get a cold prospect on the phone, you feel the need to pitch them in the 30 seconds to a minute they give you knowing they really aren't open to hearing anything you have to say in that moment. Jason helped me steer the conversation to learning about them and their issues and securing a first meeting rather than pitching them on the first call which never has a high success rate. The emailing workshop has paid dividends already. I get plenty more responses than normal and it makes total sense. I was always a little wordy and tried to cram too much information into an email. No one was ever going to read the whole thing. He helped me format valuable information in short message, because you can always send another email. It was great stuff. I would 100% recommend Jason and Outbound squad to other organizations for their sales kickoffs.

Participated in the SKO workshop which was fantastic! The biggest value was being able to ask and hear direct questions to Jason in real time, and hearing his responses. Key take aways has been all the cold outreach tips. Primarily the reverse pitch for the phones. What to say after a PBO has been tough for me in the past, but now i feel much more confident with the reverse pitch getting plugged right in after a quality PBO. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who is trying to learn the modern ways of cold calling/emailing. And since Jason includes research studies you know he will constantly be evolving his tips and tactics based on the data.

I participated in SKO. As a BDR/SDR a lot of what was discussed was meant for the AE role. There were parts that did help the BDR section as well. It was mainly stuff we try and practice already in our role but I thought it was great for the new hires and the people struggling to see that if they just stick to the plan they will see results. The email overview I think was the best. i knew my emails were too long so it was nice to get a refresher in the format. Only thing that is a little difficult for that is for a BDR to write personalized emails to every single person would take way too long for how little responses emails tend to get. I think most BDRs took away the shell of the concept and made it our own on how we can use it in cadences. I would recommend this for AE and a small portion for BDR. I know you probably don't have control over that as you're brought in for "sales" as a whole.
