Some much needed marketing therapy this morning at our Pavilion Executive Marketing breakfast. 27 marketing leaders in a room, comparing notes on what AI is actually changing… and what’s just noise. Big thank you to Rachel Dennis and Katherine Torrence for fabulous facilitating, and to Charlotte Goreing and Seismic for sponsoring. The #1 question on our table: what does AI really mean for marketing teams right now? A few things that came up: - The shift towards system builders and taste makers… efficiency matters, but so does judgement - More demand for creative strategy paired with strong execution (the best work still comes from great combinations) - Subject matter expertise is becoming the differentiator in a sea of AI-generated content - Retention and community are getting more attention again as growth gets harder And my favourite future new job titles: Authenticity Captain and Head of Humour. If you’re curious about Pavilion or want to join a future session, just DM me. And planning a Pavilion Marketing dinner next time - breakfast goes too fast!

GTM doesn’t scale on opinions. It scales on systems. Yesterday I caught up with Ajay Joshi. We met through Pavilion CRO School and stayed in touch. Those early monthly coffee chats turned into something I really value: a space to think with someone outside my usual bubble. Ajay is one of those people who’s consistently generous. He connects people, shares what he’s seeing, and still says things like, “If you have a business idea, let’s walk it through.” The takeaway from this one was simple: If you want to break through the next growth ceiling, you need real revenue architecture. Clean data, clear ownership, solid enablement, and an operating cadence that holds up when things get noisy. And none of it matters if you can’t communicate it. Because clarity drives alignment, adoption, and investor confidence. Leaving the coffee chat with one question, I’m practicing: Can I explain this without the spreadsheet open? P.S. Snowstorm to sunset patio in under 24 hours. Even the palm trees feel unreal.

Want to feel at home wherever you go? Join a community 🙌 This week, I traveled from my home in Annapolis, MD to Austin, TX for the always excellent (seriously, I've been 3 times) Spryng conference by Peep Laja and the team at Wynter. I'm an introvert and there's nothing that gives me more anxiety than walking into a room full of people I don't know and having to awkwardly make conversation. But because of my membership (and job!) in Pavilion, that never happens. Wherever I go, I'm surrounded by a community of people who I know and trust. This week, that meant "running into" about 30 other Pavilion members at Spryng, which inspired me to put together a last minute (planned yesterday 😀 ) breakfast for us to all get together before heading back for day 2 of the conference. It was a great way to start the day and a wonderful reminder of the power of community. Thanks to all of the Pavilion members (pictured here) and guests who joined me this morning in Austin 🙏 Next week, I'm headed to Phoenix for the Forrester B2B Summit - shoot me a comment below if you'll be there so we can get together! #community #kathleenhq

This is an appreciation post. Think tanks aren’t just for policy wonks. I’m part of a few industry-specific think tanks, paid communities built for learning, not selling. ImpactEleven: for professional speakers (which I love, but that's for a different post) Pavilion: for revenue leaders in marketing and sales What makes Pavilion stand out? No cold outreach. No pitching. Just peer-driven support and shared growth. If someone asks for help, you give it. But your inbox doesn’t become a sales funnel. Sure, now and then someone misses the memo. I shared the email and the Pavilion team jumped in fast. That’s what you're paying for, structure, learning, community, and a team that keeps the space valuable. I’ve been a member for 4+ years. If you’ve been on the fence, join. It’s worth it. Thanks Kathleen Booth & Kyler V. #ThinkTank

Happy hour. Salon dinner. Women’s lunch. Hockey. What a great way to start the year for Pavilion DC! One thing I love about being a chapter head for Pavilion DC is the mix of meeting a new member every time we have an event, and keeping up with the relationships built over time. We support each other by celebrating each other’s wins, commiserating over a frustrating experience, and making recommendations or introductions where possible. Thanks to all who have joined our Q1 events: ⭐ A lively salon dinner around company culture, dashboards and metrics, and first-time founders. ⭐ A happy hour talking about team transitions and hyping up someone ahead of a final interview (which resulted in an offer!). ⭐ Our first women’s lunch with discussions around team dynamics, remote work, and Q1 challenges. ⭐ Our first hockey game and a Capitals win! 🏒 What's next: 🗓️ Customer Success lunch and learn 🗓️ Root, root, rooting for the home team 🗓️ Happy hours, of course 🗓️ More lunches with ladies I continue to be humbled and honored to be part of this community, and can’t wait for the upcoming CMO Summit in Atlanta and GTM Summit in DC! Being fully remote can be lonely. I don’t think we were meant to live or work in isolation like this. I crave being around people. I feed off the energy, the conversations, the spontaneous moments you just don’t being fully remote. So I’ve made it a point to get more involved outside the home. A little over three years ago, I joined Pavilion —and eventually became the RDU chapter head. Last year, I started a local CRO group. We actually met up last night at a beer garden. The convo flowed from personal to professional to cultural—just a bunch of smart, driven people connecting and sharing. Sometimes venting. Sometimes brainstorming. Always supporting. These two communities give me the balance I need to stay sane, focused, and energized—in both work and life. If you’re feeling isolated, do something about it. Find a group. A community. A mentor. Someone or somewhere that fills your tank not drains it. Take care of yourself—not just physically, but mentally too. It matters. P.S. we are holding our RDU Pavilion event Wednesday evening. DM if you're interested in joining us. Our discussion will be led by my fellow Pavilion member Ryan Staley Kerry Rouser Christopher "Duffy" Fron, MBA Dan Horowitz Michelle Eatherton Joe Aurilia, Jr. Josh Carter Aaron Leeder 🏒

Great to kick off the year with such a strong showing at the Pavilion Boston Chapter Happy Hour last night at Copper House Tavern in Waltham. We had about 30 people join us — including several prospective members — for a relaxed evening of great conversations, new connections, and plenty of ideas about how we can continue to support and learn from one another this year. The Pavilion community works because of the people in it: generous with their time, open with their experiences, and genuinely invested in helping each other grow. Last night was a great reminder of that. Thanks to everyone who came out. Looking forward to many more events in the months ahead.

One of the best things I did last week was simple: coffee with a few members of the Pavilion Boston network. Karen Brieger, Kara MacDonald, Danielle Colanto, Gwen Wiscount and it was wonderful meeting you all! No agenda. No “pitch.” Just good people getting out of the house, comparing notes, and talking about what we’re seeing in the market. We covered everything from business trends to AI tools to what’s working (and what’s definitely not) right now. And the biggest takeaway wasn’t even a specific tactic. It was the reminder that progress speeds up when you’re in rooms (or coffee shops) with people who are building, learning, and sharing in real time. Because you never know where the next great idea is going to come from. A casual comment. A tool someone’s testing. A challenge you thought was uniquely yours that someone else already solved. Networking doesn’t have to be formal to be valuable. Sometimes it’s just showing up, being curious, and having conversations that sharpen how you think. Grateful for the Pavilion community and the local Boston crew. If you’ve been meaning to get out and connect with peers, consider this your nudge.

Most GTM leaders are solving the same problems alone. That's the whole reason Pavilion exists Same pipeline gaps. Same forecasting headaches. Same "do more with less" pressure from the board Sam Jacobs started it back in 2016 as Revenue Collective. A small group of revenue leaders who were tired of figuring everything out in isolation. I've been a member since 2019 The community is now 10,000+ members globally. CROs, CMOs, VPs of Sales, RevOps leaders, CS executives. All navigating shorter tenures, tighter budgets, and boards that expect results yesterday I co-chair the LA chapter. This Thursday we're hosting an executive dinner Private dining room. Great food and drinks. Small group of GTM leaders. No pitches. No panels You bring a real challenge. The table brings experience. There's something special about being part of a community. Community can mean a lot of different things. Personal, professional, geographic, cultural; community is anywhere you feel a sense of belonging and part of something bigger than yourself. The Boston tech community is strong. Throughout my career I've maintained relationships with people I've met through various user groups, I've gotten jobs and hired employees from my local network, and I've built relationships that have grown over the years and become an important part of my development. I've made good friends. Last night was a stellar night for Boston networking. Starting with the Pavilion Boston Chapter holiday party at SPIN, thanks to Susan Whittemore and Mark Rosenthal. It's was a pleasure to meet CEO @Sam Jacobs and new head of Marketing @Josh Mait. I look forward to what Pavilion has to offer in 2026 and what we all have to gain from the Boston chapter. Next, a few of us Ubered to Mark Goloboy's party at Flight Club. Mark is the ultimate connector and it was a pleasure to see more familiar faces and continue conversations we started earlier in the evening. I look forward to more connecting at the Exit Five Boston chapter holiday party in a couple of weeks. The strength of these communities and the overlap amplify the relationships and value of the time spent together. Each of these groups, as well as SAMI and Any Excuse (IYKYK) have given me so much support and strength over the years and I hope I've done the same in return. Thank you Boston marketers, I wish everyone happy networking and happy holidays!

Community is one of the most unfair advantages you can have as a GTM leader. Last week, we held our quarterly Pavilion member’s dinner, where GTM leaders from all disciplines came to exchange thoughts, experiences and ideas. It was a strong reminder why a GTM community is so powerful. Events designed for only RevOps, Sales, or Marketing teams can help you solve specific problems deeply, but there’s huge power in talking to your peers in different functions that an look at things differently. We had a big enough group to have multiple conversations flowing simultaneously, but here are my two biggest takeaways: 💻 Hiring great senior talent is tough right now. Across the table, multiple leaders shared the same frustration: The market is noisy and finding truly senior operators who can both think strategically and execute is harder than ever. We discussed how having a community like Pavilion can be a great resource for referrals and applicants for senior roles. 🤝 Cross-functional learning unlocks solutions you wouldn’t find alone. One of my favorite moments was marketing and sales exchanging their experiences on navigating traditional, old-school companies with long sales cycles. Although they were coming from different functions, they were solving the same problem and had an amazing discussion (with quite a few laughs as well!). Overall, my side of the table kept coming back to the same theme: 💡 “We just want to know what other GTM leaders are doing.” And that's why we love hosting our in-person events with Pavilion and connecting the great GTM leaders in this city! Grateful for rooms where leaders share openly, challenge each other, and leave with more ideas than they arrived. Thanks for joining Clifton Daniel Daniel Melina Gimena Iveta Bettina Tine Nico Rick Ana Aurelia Marco !

Thank you, Pavilion. It's been a fantastic ride. As I look back on the past six years, I take stock of the roles, programs, courses, and activities that I built, led, contributed to, and participated in, including: · NYC Chapter Lead and Head of the Associate Steering Committee (2024-2025) · Strategic Brand Building on LinkedIn (2025) · AI & Automation Strategies for GTM Leaders (2025) · Customer Centric Growth (2025) · Revenue Architecture (2024) · Intro to Marketing Leadership (2024) · QUIPS creator and host (2022) · CMO School, Certificate of Completion (2022) · RevOps Summer School, Certificate of Completion (2021) · NYC Steering Committee (2021) · First #tech_stack Channel Moderator (2020) · $0-30 Million Trailblazers Council (2019-2020) · NYC Marketing Council (2019-2020) I'm grateful to have joined during the Revenue Collective days, as I had a chance to meet, learn from, and rub shoulders with some of today's top GTM leaders. Today, Pavilion is the go-to organization for professional learning and development for people working across GTM, and I'm grateful to have played a part in its evolution.

Networking is more than just making connections—it's about learning, growing, and expanding your horizons. Recently, I had the privilege of connecting with Sandipan Debnath through Pavilion, and our conversation was a powerful reminder of the value of sharing knowledge. We dove deep into the world of sales, discussing strategies, challenges, and the ever-evolving landscape of the industry. Sandi's insights were invaluable, shedding light on new approaches and tools that can make a significant difference in driving results. It's conversations like these that remind me why networking is so crucial. 💡 Remember, the connections you make today can be the game-changers of tomorrow. Pavilion is the pre-eminent executive networking and training community for tech execs.
As I was starting out as a VP, the people I met and the events I attended expanded the people I could learn from and build relationships with. It was fun, for sure, and it felt valuable. However, as I've been doing this for a decade now, I realize it wasn't just fun...it wasn't just valuable...it was instrumental to my development and success. It's almost impossible to become a strong executive alone, and it's too important to leave who you grow with up to chance.

Pavilion is the first place I recommend Revenue leaders to go to elevate their game
Pavilion is the first place I recommend Revenue leaders to go to elevate their game, connect with peers, and find a community of others navigating the demands and pressure of owning a number. Through Pavilion I’ve been exposed to Revenue thought leaders and cutting edge playbooks and my favorite part has been making meaningful personal and professional relationships. Since I joined during the first year of Revenue Collective’s inception I went from running Small Business Sales at HubSpot to overseeing Revenue for Americas. I moved to to be Head of Revenue at BILL.com before becoming an Operating Partner then Managing Operating Partner at Francisco Partners Consulting. The Pavilion community certainly played a hand in my professional effectiveness.

Really great lunch with the Pavilion RDU crew today. What I love about this chapter is the mix. Early-stage founders sitting next to enterprise AEs. Ops leaders swapping notes with CMOs. Different roles, stages and experiences. Just real conversations about what’s actually happening in our roles, our teams, and our markets. You can’t get that from AI. 💥 If you’re an operator in RDU and want to find your support group, DM. Grateful for this group.

RevOps 🤝 Finance
