I published my book "Win When They Say You Won't", with McGraw Hill in December 2022. AND, I was in trouble! My book was not getting the traction that I wanted it to get, and I was not getting the number of engagements to speak that I felt that a speaker of my caliber and a book of its caliber deserve. Kait said to me, "Daphne, number one, you got to make sure you're clear on what it is that you're trying to achieve. Number two, simplify your message. And number three, always look at it from the perspective of what's in it for the audience, not only what's in it for you." Since then, the number of engagements that I've been asked to speak at has almost tripled. Subscriptions to my newsletter are going through the roof. My followers have increased, and I've only just gotten started with Kait roughly about a month and a half ago! Thank you!

I'm working on honing in on my BOLD authentic authority content for my audience. Establishing that thought-leadership with mom business owners. Since I was a VA for a decade, that shift felt big and difficult to navigate. I think the hardest part sometimes is just consistently carving out the time to work on updating my content bank and writing more pointedly. Working with Kait has allowed me to get on a better schedule, prepare for it, being around so many other successful, driven entrepreneurs is super helpful to also sometimes get you out of your comfort zone and muddle through messiness to get to where you want to be. I've grown my newsletter by around 100-150 since starting in the Personal Brand Community, my posts are getting much more engagement, so I feel much more confident in landing clients. I joined Brand Inner Circle to boost my personal brand on LinkedIn and attract new followers and clients. Before I worked with Kait and the Inner Circle Community, I had issues finding my target audience, and it was a struggle for me because I was sending content out on social media platforms and not really getting that much return on investment. I was just getting frustrated all the time. I would post content regularly, two to three times a week, and not receive any leads or anybody contacting me and reaching out. Then comes Kait, and I think that the greatest thing working with her was allowing me to focus on where I should create this content, what platforms I should create the content on, as well as what target audience I should seek. I realized I was being too broad in terms of scope about who my target audience was, and Kait, through her exercises and through her classes and courses, really taught me how to pinpoint that exact target audience or that exact customer that I needed for my business. I have always detested posting about life moments on social media (even as an extrovert).
