Just checked out Popchew in NYC, and here’s my take! 🍔 As a picky eater, I’ll admit I was a bit hesitant, but overall, it was a pretty good experience. The flavors were solid, but they went heavy on the onions—and not just any onions, thick ones! If you’re into that, you’ll probably love it, but for me, it was a little much. But still delicious burger.
Now, the fries? Absolutely incredible! 🥇 Perfectly crispy and flavorful, but here’s the catch—you’ve got to eat them fresh.
Overall, I’d rate it an 8/10. The cherry on top? The food was free! Somehow, free food always hits differently. 😏 Definitely worth a visit if you live in the area and love burgers!

Delivery took about 20 mins to the east village, when it arrived the fries were still extra crispy and the burger was perfect - not soggy at all. This may be New Yorks best smash burger right now. The secret sauce is scary good, I need them to sell it in gallon jugs asap. Will order again.

There are so many places running for the best smashed burger title in NYC and its getting hard to keep up. But then a gem pops-up outta nowhere and surprises you.
