But still delicious burger.
Now, the fries? Absolutely incredible! 🥇 Perfectly crispy and flavorful, but here’s the catch—you’ve got to eat them fresh.

Delicious cheeseburger that really hit the spot on this cold December night! I appreciate that the sauce is on the side so we can choose how much we want to put. Ordering through the website/app was very easy and the guy up front was friendly. It would be nice if there was some kind of indicator on the app or an email alert when the order is ready, but that can be added later.

I’ve been hearing about Popchew for a while and seeing their ads all over New York. Finally pulled the trigger and ordered it! DoorDash was doing a bogo deal and was totally worth it. Delivery took about 20 mins to the east village, when it arrived the fries were still extra crispy and the burger was perfect - not soggy at all. This may be New Yorks best smash burger right now. The secret sauce is scary good, I need them to sell it in gallon jugs asap. Will order again.

What can I say about Popchew Burger that hasn’t been written? It was absolutely AMAZING! Let’s start with the order: they threw in a FREE special sauce and it was ready right on time when I got there!
The burger: amazing smash keeping the burger moist, super flavorful, well seasoned and that special sauce is truly SPECIAL. Just the right amount of acidity, sweetness and a very delicate kick to bring it all together.
The fries: even though they were cold when I tried them (my fault because it took me a while when it was freezing outside) they were still very crispy with the right amount of salt. Crinkle Fries❤️🔥
Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures this time because it was very cold outside and I DEVOURED everything.
I will recommend Popchew to everyone I know and can definitely say it’s one of NYC’s best Smashburgers. Will be back VERY SOON!!

Saw the burgers on snacksisters on IG. Looked good! The free burgers for a year sold me to take a look. Very interesting concept. I downloaded the app and ordered my free burger and added an order of fries for pickup. Went to pickup location. I won't lie, it looked a little shady. Their sauce is a little different than other smashburgers I have had. It is made with a mustard base. Goes great with the fries. BTW the burger was excellent. I definitely will order from them again. This time I will try delivery,
Saw the burgers on snacksisters on IG. Looked good! The free burgers for a year sold me to take a look. Very interesting concept. I downloaded the app and ordered my free burger and added an order of fries for pickup. Went to pickup location. I won't lie, it looked a little shady. I love this place so much- best burger in nyc, hands down! They take such good care of their customers. My orders have always come in a little care package with everything you could possibly need from a baby burger candy for dessert to extra ketchup (without requesting) to directions on how to heat up the fries. They really thought their ordering process/delivery system through. The food is obviously amazing and the portions are great too!!!

Popchew burger is delicious. Quite addicting for a burger lover like myself. The beef patty is not too thin, they make the beef patty a little thick which is a perfect combination for the burger buns. I’ve highly recommended popchew burger to my friends.

i don't usually give out reviews unless it's really good, but for this burger joint, they really took an extra mile and made the packaging cute, gave me a yupi gummy burger bear.
i just bought their buy one get one burger off of doordash, i felt bad not giving a solid review at doordash so here i am. i would say a really good cheeseburger, they look like a brand new store, so let's see in the future how they'll be and i hope they're consistent with their quality and added value here.
they deserve a positive recognition and im from la and i wanted a quick-fix to my insatiable hunger and this was just the solution.

But the real star was the special sauce—it was delicious! It was an awesome tangy and slightly sweet flavor that just took the whole burger to the next level. Every bite was perfect and the toasted bun added a nice crunch. Add the fries too - they really complete the meal! If you love burgers, you’ve got to check this one out! Highly recommend!

Wow. Just wow. I don’t think I knew the meaning of ‘Cheeseburger” before I ate this. Amazing. Stupendous. My coworker knew the chef personally and I can confirm she sprinkles gallons of love and care into each smashburger. Thank you. Just thank you. Pure gratituide and joy. Special sauce was okay.

Some might consider me a burger expert and it’s safe to say this burger is delicious! It’s nicely seasoned, cooked to perfect and topped with an amazing sauce. The fries also were still so crispy when they arrived. Highly recommend checking them out.

I have to say this spot so far hasn't let me down, giving them a try. Found them on UberEats searching for late overnight dinner at work. These guys were the few still open late night, so I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. Ordered a double burger with cheese and Brooklyn mango tea. The tea was ok, but the burger was delicious. It might look a little dry, but that's because I had it sitting for a while before I went off to my lunch break. I have it 4 stars only just because I didn't get a chance to check the shop out yet but love the food.
